Its be one month since i have bought Skoda Kushaq MT Ambition ।
Honestly jis hisaab se yeh owner bol rha gai, gaadi mein utni kharabi nahin hai .
That confidence Skoda gives while gives while driving, turning, handling, very few cars can give . It can only be felt once you have a test drive.
Problems har gaadi mein kuch rehti hai, features u can retrofit in after market, but can you retrofit driving comforts .
Mileage in my 1 month experience, its giving 18-19 if you drive consistently ij 3rd and 4th gear . In bumper to bumper city traffic , its low , in range of 6-7 kmpl, may be aftwr 1st service it will improve.
AC i feel its bit underpowered in low rpms.
Other than that, its a very safe car, with good engine, drivability and comfort. You wont regret your buying decision।
3 things I want to point out
1. It’s braking with 2 discs is still better than 4 discs of Verna, Seltos & Creta (Try it yourself or check out youtube comparisons)
2. DSG jerks much lesser than Jerky AMT’s, Torque Converters and Hyundai DCT (These gearboxes jerks on on nornal shifting too bro)
3. No car offers underbody protection in this range.
I used to drive a Punto and it had 2 discs in front only, disc size was also smaller than what's there in kushaq.
And the brakes of kushaq are nowhere near to that of the Punto.
Hyundai, Kia were never considered when I was looking for a new car so I can't say about the braking those cars has to offer.
Comparing DSG to AMT is not valid. VW/skoda technology is better than others but this is not acceptable.
Seltos and creta both give engine under cover. I would suggest you to go and check that.
@@codemyskoda the thing you’re telling about Under body engine cover is actually Engine Splash guard which is actually no where close to Engine guard. Those engine splash guards are made of fibre/ plastic sir which get cracks and break in monsoon. I just confirmed it from my friend and he said His seltos has that Guard latka hua aadha Hwaa me. They are of no real sense sir.
And you’re comparing age old cars with what you’re getting nowadays. I can also go La La about my 8 yr old Ecosport but then If I think logically I find my New slavia more comfortable, spacious, safe and a good highway cruiser in a single package which I guess old cars lacked, be it Punto, Linea (was a very good handler) Eco or Polo, Vento twins.

@@DivyankshSharma I have also seen cars with that plastic cover hanging and making scraping sound. People don't get it changed which they should once they see it hanging.
There are things that I like about this car and there are things which I don't like as well, is a love-hate relationship.
But this is a never ending debate about which car is best or better so I think we can just drive the cars that we have now and enjoy it. ☮️

But ironically Maine ek company banayi, jiska naam "codemyskoda" , jisko aap use kar ke aap skoda ke features better kar sakte hai.

I have Kushaq 1.0AT. I don't think any brand gives Torque converter this smooth and lag free. Recently we have done 1150km drive from Goa to Nagpur in one go and after that trip we didn't even feel fatigued after reaching home. Only issue I think is the touch AC panel which can be risky while driving and adjusting AC. Skoda should give other options and remove this touch AC panel.
We got mileage of 17kmpl with first 70km of ghats and winding roads followed by some 150km of village roads and in the end highway where we were driving constantly at 110kmph avg. Mileage of kushaq drops as soon as members in the car increases above 2. With four passengers it would have give us 16kmpl of mileage in same conditions.
AC of car is sufficient for the liking of us. We usually don't like direct AC on the body instead we prefer to have it on windshield and feel the cooling indirectly. In hot summers yes AC can be insufficient but you can put some good sun film on windows and windshield which restricts good amount of heat and keep car cooler relatively with no film cars.
Agreed to wat u said.. I won a Kushaq 1AT.. it's been an year and absolute breeze it's been.. this guy must be extremely unlucky to have so much issues...

Hello sir. I am honestly confused between getting the style or ambition variant. Also between the 1.0 or 1.5. The only reason is that I am really tall and with sunroof the style variant gives me little headroom.
Is 1.0 fine for you as a driving experience ?
Sir , mere pass creta SX hai and trust me mere ko kushaq kaa interior much better lagta hai and creaking noice toh creta kaa sunoge toh aur maja aayega . Koi gaadi perfect nai hai . 2 creta & 1 swift kharidne ke baad ab mai kushaaq lera hun .

This is for sure, old skoda cars were very heavy, solid and fantastic in all respects. Old Octavia, superp. Rapid was also heavily built. But now a days vw skoda cars are not as sturdy as they were in past.

@@harekrishna2037 it's good for sure, your get the safest vehicle of all other cars in same category. Else seltos/creta are there but not safe.

Few things are fixed from service center already.
Few can't be fixed because they are manufactured that way. This is a second batch car which was having issues which are somewhat fixed in new cars.

@@prateekgpt13 I am driving this car from 1 year, so this is an actual ownership review of this very car. Only an owner can tell what's good, what's bad but ultimately it's the new buyer who must check everything before purchasimg a new car.
I wasn't expecting this many issues in the car before purchasing. Now Few of them are fixed by company in newer cars so any new kushaq owner's review will be different than mine.

@@harshaar5543needs comfort, a cabin that is suitable for a full family, decent service and maintenance cost, decent mileage, interior build quality, boot space, 6 airbags, rear seat comfort, easily available parts and service centre, cost effectiveness, resale value, AC performance, ADAS, infotainment, low cabin noise, 1 saal me hi gaadi khadkhane na lage kyoki AAP ek full blown SUV ki price me cross-over ya compact SUV le rahe hai.

Recently I purchased this car there are few pros and cons
Pros
Build quality is good
Driving experience is also good
Looks good in road presence
Cons
Infotainment system downgraded
No four air bags even in mid variant
Ac is pathetic I repeat even after three years they have not improved ac quality
If you drive Little bit high at high rpm mileage will dropped to single digits
Engine sound is not that smooth and rattling noise is also there
Infotainment system gets heated up this is weird I have never seen.
1.0 litre turbo is just for name sake it lacks power and if u need power go for 1.5 and that is again overpriced.
Please buy this car only if you are enthusiasts and don’t care about mileage or money if have a lot
If you are middle class person who needs to balance in all aspects this is not the correct car.

Realibilty is the main factor - Honda elevate its a gem I have driven it recently.
Features and performance but less safety concern - go for seltos htk plus or creta s plus if your budget is less than 18 lakhs. Honestly ac is very bad in Kushaq 1.0.
