Things get really fast at 1:10 ;-)
When I was at Cartagena for Bike Promotion Track Days I had Simon Crafar as personal instructor. One day we realized Ana Carrasco was on track as well doing some pre-season testing and Simon went after her. Fortunately, he had my camera on his bike. Needless to say, with a former 500cc Grand Prix race-winner and an ex Moto3 racer, the footage is pretty epic, especially the second part.
Evidently, Ana was trying out a Moto2 kit bike, probably for a local or European championship. Check out the sound of that thing when Simon closes in on her. She also does some nice back-wheel-in-the-air braking at the end of the main straight (again 1:10). Enjoy! :-D
The Ducati 998 is 20 years old and has officially never won the world championship, so is it a good track bike? Let's find out: ua-cam.com/video/JpNEYd_Z6eQ/v-deo.html 😊
Superb soundtrack to celebrate Ana World Champion !!
Yeah, congrats Ana! It was an honor to share the track with her :)
This machine gear is so abdorable.😍
Fantastica Ana! Gran percorrenza di curva!
Whoa! Simon's lines are so much better.
He is a fabulous rider with a lot of experience 👍
Top job
Jeez I wish I could ride like that
Me too! :D
clean and safe. good ride lots more space to push xx
NIce ride congrats
Thanks, man! Two pros at work ;-)
Annaaaaa eres una chingona..!!!!
why wasnt he overtaking? he slowed down
Ì think he wanted to study her riding. Later on she waves him through and follows him for some time, then they switch places again.
Killer !
Ana was over slow for her riding ability. That was probably a lap timer setting lap or something.
The second half shows her abilities pretty well, I think.
Especially if you realise that he uses a 1000cc bike and she obviously a moto2...
