Love your channel, and I also love your delivery style. It's straight forward, no bullshit. It grabs my attention and holds it, so I don't nod off like I do while listening to other videos, as well meaning as they are. You are knowledgeable, confident, and engaging. Please don't change your style! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!! I'll be checking out all of your videos as I set out to rebrand and reconfigure my website design strategy.
I appreciate that you went over different names for the nav bar, then also mention why you chose the name you did. In my head, I was thinking “I would call it a header”, and you quickly followed up w/: “I will call it navigation, because this section is also sometimes referred to as a header”. It was a quick way to teach different words & practical use to a newbie like me.
"I'm surprised by how many people still fuck this up." - one of the other videos (top 50 mistakes maybe? While profanity isn't appropriate for all videos, it's ideal for encapsulating the unnecessary frustration that web users face on a daily basis. The tone of these videos is exquisite; I am hooked and am now binging.
This video earned my sub. Thanks for being interesting with a side of humour. So much more refreshing than those that shout in to the camera like they are super excited (read, have a mental disorder). Keep up the great content.
i loved the natural flow of the video... opening with a decisive "don't wanna fuck it" a smooth transition to a burp at the peak of the video and finishing with some grounding base note of roasting their logo. got a sub from me, kind Sir!
You have DEFINITELY earned my subscription today. I am over here dying laughing watching this video, which definitely isn't the norm when watching web design/UX/UI content. You had me at "SEO circle jerkers" lmaoooooo 💀💀🤣🤣 Thank you for posting high quality content, not only because it's comedic gold but also because it's it's so clear, thoughtful, and informative!! 💕
Just stumbled across your channel and you certainly earned my subscription. Very useful info on Navigation. I have a combo menu where all most important pages are visible and then another, hidden-clickable, where users are taken to a full page menu with all pages there. I think that's a good way to prioritise some pages and also a fun way to show all the rest! Plus, I like your style of videos and how you comment 😊
Just watched your video bobbing my head like a Hula Girl doll on the dashboard of an El Camino. Spot on and super cool video. And the navigation for Medium is still crap imo. Nice to know I'm not alone with that. Finally 😂 Cheers from BC Canada 🇨🇦
Great informative content, working on developing my own website from scratch and your information gave me so many good ideas to help my website moving forward.
Very impressed with your content so far and like others, I can't understand why you don't have more subscribers. Thank you for what you do, you are certainly providing a great service to the web design community. Subscribed!
It might have something to do with saying, "for all you SEO & Google Analytics circle jerkers" That's pretty off-putting for someone who just stumbled upon this channel. I'll finish the video, but I almost left because 1) it's offensive 2) I actually do care about organic performance, and it seems like this guy may not give a crap about that, which might not be a good fit for someone to teach me.
Man, you're the most unique web design person I've found so far and BURRRPPP! I love it. Also, when you said, "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT LOGO!" I knew right away that I HAVE to subscribe to this guy. Also, you are very informative.
One search here for website designs and the algorithm gods brought me to you. Your humor and excellent content kept me and by the 3rd video I subscriber. That was my user journey. PS I also hate drop-down menus and totally agree with your choice of the worst navigation site.
I love your channel. You go straight to the point. And everything is very helpful. I learned so much. I also could see what I do well. I do hope you will continue to make this tutorials.
OMG I'm so glad I found your channel. I agree with so much of what you are saying and the fact that you are frank about shitty design elements is great.
I am working on a website myself, and I want to ask you if there is any chance that I can send an archieve with it once it's done, just to give an impresion of it? Or maybe a video of me navigating thru it. I hope you will see this comment and at least answer it😅
Why has the always visible navigation menu on the left side of the screen become so rare? Any arguments against using that version? I quite like that one.
For me websites are like emails. a thing of the past that we cling on too. never found it useful more of a necessity. if the content I want is somewhere else like socials etc, I always go to the more convenient one. never cared for the segments find them filled with marketing mumbo jumbo. i choose familiarity over orginal and beautiful design. Content for me is king and all this aesthetics are a nuisance and worse if the thing is animated or something look i just wanna buy a chair I dont need to scroll for 10 minutes through a presentation. just want the specs and rates.
I caught that too. In one mistakes video he says "don't ever do this" and then in the next video he completely contradicts himself and says the opposite. Makes the content and the observations mismatched, inconsistent, clashing logic... kinda comes off as inconclusive, and spotty... being unclear/disjointed. Makes the viewer feel like they are watching a roster of righteous yowling. Though some tips are useful for noobs.
Hi just watched a few videos, very helpful. I already redesigned our website and should be going live tomorrow. It’s corrosion free, I’d like to know what you think. After watching this I wonder if my Navigation is to much but I really like it haha
By no means a prude but I feel your content would be improved if it werent for the 4 letter words and bodily out gassing and the like. For videos which talk about what not to do in developing a web site I think these observations would hold true for someone looking to develop a YT presence/following. I like your content and will continue to watch and learn from your experiences and suggestions.
It was driving me crazy trying to remember the channel that I loved that had burps thrown in amongst the hard-hitting content - and now I can rest easy and enjoy New Year's Eve. Hope you have a great 2025, and that you address aggressive text-truncation, which is by fa… Read more
Just came across your channel and it's BUURRRRP top-notch quality!
at least 53% better quality, LOL🤣
So random 😂
how could someone not have 20 seconds left in his day to erase that burp ?
@@carlitoz450 why erase it man
He ... he ... didn't even skip a beat after that! 🤣
Underrated channel
Waaaay underrated
Wayyyyy tooooo underated

DUDE! you said "it's something you don't want to fuck up" within the first 30 sec. Now I can't stop watching your content, thank you.

Best website channel, straight to the point, no bs, love to see the vids!
This video earned my sub. Thanks for being interesting with a side of humour. So much more refreshing than those that shout in to the camera like they are super excited (read, have a mental disorder). Keep up the great content.
3rd video I watch of this guy, learned more about UI/UX than I have in all my time in programming and design schools
I heard that smile after the burp
The BURP is an absolute essential part of this educational content!!! :) :)
i loved the natural flow of the video... opening with a decisive "don't wanna fuck it" a smooth transition to a burp at the peak of the video and finishing with some grounding base note of roasting their logo. got a sub from me, kind Sir!
Solid channel. The burp and the cuss words honestly make these videos increase the honesty. Love the realism.
Best video on navigation menus, useful stuff for any designer! Awesome content, keep going with the great work!!
You're a hero to self-taught web developers! Keep it up!
I just can't thank you enough for the way you explain things, please upload videos more often.
After 3 informative videos you got my subscription 🎉

Thanks for the great content, really informative!
entertaining, refreshing, honest and educational
Amazing video well done sure. Every f bomb I was moving closer to the edge of my chair. By the end I was behind the monitor…
OMG I'm so glad I found your channel. I agree with so much of what you are saying and the fact that you are frank about shitty design elements is great.
Your videos made me intrigued by web design.
It’s the combination of cold, hard logic, and the reality of how people use webpages that makes it so appealing to me. It’s so calming.
Excellent video.. I’m researching to build an app and found this information useful
Top notch info and presentation. A must.
Absolutely fabulous!
Loved your video. Do you have a A 2 Z web design course?
10:14 What about Webflow?
What was that sound at 6:36
Subscribed because the content is legit. Thumbs up for authentic f-bomb again. Gratuitous burp in the middle, avoid next time.

9:53 accessibility . Now I know where the developpers messed up when Dragon won't click on a menu lol
13:10 Shouldn't Do's and Dont's be #6?
Why has the always visible navigation menu on the left side of the screen become so rare? Any arguments against using that version? I quite like that one.
Takes up Above the Fold space for content
The burp made me laugh 🤣
I am ready to give a web design brief like a pro

in your 50 mistakes video you said stop using click menus and use hover instead. and here you are saying the exact opposite
No he does not say the opposite here.
great vids man

Excellent. Thank you sir
what font do you use?
“As a bonus I’ll show you the worst navigation that I’ve seen”
Starts to type in your url 😅 😢
Everything up to the burp was great. Everything after too, but not as great as the burp.
Спасибо, что Вы есть!
Love it more content 💕
Ha, humor added!! Yeet!
A like for calling a spade a spade. There's a special place in hell for navigation sinners.
