- Hello all, just wanted to see if anyone else was interested in me starting a new series on ETS2? I've got all the kit already so I don't need to splash out. I've been an international lorry driver in real life, and I've got 600 hours on ETS2 on steam!

@@MrJollyRoger Hi do you know why this opentrack works on some games but doesnt on others pls? Im playing star trucker which works the same way but opentrack doesnt work in it :(
@@raukoring Star Trucker probably doesn't support headtracking. I have the same problem with Taxi Life.
A taxi simulator without headtracking support. Crazy.
@@lgvdbroek yes it's not supported yet. Pn steam discussion I've found out the game is made by two people and they have a huge list of things they want to fix/add and tracking is of a bit lower importance atm

1. Does this affect in game fps negatively?
2. Do I need a 1080p 60fps webcam? I have a 720p 30fps one only at the moment.

How can it be boring! You're talking about exactly what is says in the title. Super helpful and saved me a ton of time. My only change is the vertical (pitch) sensitivity. Many thanks.

I don't have the neuralnet tracker in my inputs, why is that so? I tried the latest version as well as the version you're on, it's not available in either of them.
I bought a new webcam, and honestly, I can't get any tracking to work no matter where I put the cam, so I am just sticking to using the mouse to look around
why is the axis the up and down view the other way around?
Nicely explained. I forget how I got my Open Track to work with ET2! Now I cannot use my Xbox 360 PC controller to look left and right, so I am pulling out to a mixture of avoiding collisions, sometimes having trucks and cars ploughing into the side of me. Now my webcam is not working on my PC, so I am in troubleshooting mode.

Hmmm webcam issues. Does it work through the standard "camera" app on windows? And are all your drivers up to date?
My webcamera isn't an expensive one, and it's certainly nothing special, so please don't feel like you need to spend ££'s or £££'s on a particular one.
Do you have a msfs profile?

This was VERY useful! At first glance it was madness in the game, but with your profile settings it got stable. Maybe I tweak it myself, but as first hour of use I don't feel the need for changing it up. Thanks for the video guide!

Is opentrack safe? I ve seen many complains about it havin a virus/trojan.
Hello Kiril, I can't guarantee it's safe, but I've not heard or experienced anything bad with it so far. A year in at the moment
so i play the game with a controller i did the open track thing but when i close open track and come back to game i cant move the interior camera how to solve it !!
you need the opentrack opened

Thank you Jolly for this guide. Far from boring! I managed to set this up yesterday evening and it works a treat. Much better than the Tobii first gen Eye Tracker I bought years ago. Genuinely grateful for this, thank you 🙂

It really is, save your money! The amount of hours I spent trying to set the Tobii up and it's never the same twice! Also I found it gave me motion sickness. This head tracker doesn't do that, I am really impressed. Thank you again for the guide and settings.@@MrJollyRoger

Hello Dott, it works for any webcam mate, doesn't need to be HD or anything, so it can be done really cheap. It works on laptop webcams too, someone told me recently. Good luck with it, and I hope you enjoy it buddy
