This looks insanely awesome, such massive and loving work put into this scary, intense beast and it's looking fantastic from all the efforts of all involed! Great work, I look forward to trying the next big step in this standalone game's release!
I hardly ever have the guts to play horror mods but Siren had its hooks in me since the Alpha Beta Gamer showcase a year ago. Super impressive work and I continue to tell all who will listen to give it a whirl.
@@JediCore Actually I agree with this. And there's definitely been some feature creep that ultimately didn't make it in. But this is also a fun process for me to experiment and learn how to do certain things. Development time definitely can't just run indefinitely.
@@ditheredoutput6148 I didn't get a chance to say that this does indeed look amazing and I will definitely be playing it when comes out. I just don't like the mentality of "the longer the better" as we've seen with few games that it did not work. I see that you obviously know a thing or two about development ;)
No joke, your doing an amazing job with this! All this work and effort is honestly impressive! your making hella progress, even if it may seem slow. your making it and i sure as fuck can't wait to see it all.
Have you thought of releasing this as a new game based on GZDoom instead of a mod? Like Selaco did. If there's enough content, I would be okay with paying for it. Could help support all the hard work and maybe future content.
@@icecreambrainz8726 I'd just like to actually complete the story and have the work out there. I suppose I don't see the benefit to the player. There are ways to support the mod for those that want to. If not, the main goal is for people to play it! I could possibly make it a streamlined process later on - and not actually require Doom2 to run. A commercial release would mean 95% of the sprites and textures would need to be recreated from scratch and I don't have a team to do that.
@arkgaharandan5881 Well I'll reposition this as an intentional micro-detail that goes to show that A.I can't always be trusted for accuracy if she can't even pronounce her own name correctly.
One of the best mods ever made. If you prefer horror to post-apocalyptic scenarios then this mod topples Ashes. That is one hell of an achievement.

Excuse 1 was already more effort than expected, take your time on your masterpiece
The Longer it takes, the better it gets
thats the rule of Doom Mods, take your time!
disagree. it can take so long that it will never come out. scope creep is real

Dude, this looks awesome! Good luck with the work, hope everything goes smooth for you.
Awesome Mod. Worth the wait. Many thanks to you

Anticipation is high lol

Gotta also think of the people who cant pay though

@@ditheredoutput6148hmm. Interesting. I hope it works out for you either way man. I'll hold off until full release.
1:09 pretty sure the c is not silenced so it should sound more like ski.
Other than that cant wait.
@@arkgaharandan5881 It seems to be a word of divided opinion. I've only ever heard it pronounced 'Silla'. In this game universe the c is silent .😀

This evokes the ambiance of okd school Deus Ex

Impressive!
Don't tell me that's gonna be the first immersive SIM for doom?
@@AndroidFerret I'm not sure if it will achieve full I'm-sim status, but the influences from the genre are heavy.
hey, unrelated but do you happen to know where shibuya's channel went?
@@defectivenull We speak occasionally. I think he just had other time consuming ventures on at the time.
