- hi todays vid is not very long and it not really detailed like most videos are, its a pretty stright forward bike that is a really good bike and there not much to say about it but i will be coming out with riding vids soon so stay tuned
I have this bike. 22 model. First ever bike. I was able to learn fast with it. Only gripe was that there’s no key. Can be stolen. And wiring a light wasn’t as easy as I wanted it to be we managed. Great bike. Shreds on trails 👍🏻

Yea that is why I use a bike lock when I have to leave it somewhere
I bet you can wire in an ignition switch that breaks the starter wire.

Electric start for us old guys
Bought this bike new in 2021 and sold it fast. Way too heavy for my liking but it had some good qualities, ergonomic, smooth power etc.

You got the gearing thing backwards. Bigger back sprocket lowers top speed. Bigger countershaft sprocket increases speed.
With mine, I ditched the stock tires and replaced them with Michelin Starcross 5. With the Michelin's the 300R almost feels like it's bolted to the ground in the corners!
Depending on the state you're in, you might be able to put a light kit and horn on your bike and get it registered to use on the street. The KLX300R with lights would probably be a better dual sport than the KLX300. I sort of wish I'd bought a KLX300R and plated it, but I got the KLX300 dual sport version.

full clutch up wheelie. with a Pro Circuit T6 pipe, Dynojet Power Commander tuner, and a KLX 250 snorkle, it will power wheelie all day long
Thanks for the video. I have the same bike. It looks like you removed the arrestor from the exhaust , did it make much of a difference with the sound? I dont like the tiny exhaust hole but dont mind the quietness of it

Smaller* rear sprocket would increase top speed. Not a bigger one
I wheelie my 300 but I can’t keep it up for long what gear you do it in and how you pull it up
Its an off road bike. They normally don't have keys. Also it is fuel injected...it would be extremely hard to kick start. They are even diffiult to bump start. Fuel injected bikes need to start with ekectric starters.
Fuel injected bikes are not harder to start. If anything they’re easier
@@jordanbrinson5162 with a kick started and no battery like a carburated dirtbike yes I guarentee they are harder to kick start.
I gotta wonder how this bike compares to a 200 two stroke, can it climb most hills, what's the range, does it handle well ?

Regardless, I’m watching all these Klx videos to determine if this is a better option for woods riding with kids, as my 450 is too much bike trail riding, it gets hot.. do you notice the weight of the 300? My 450 weight is significantly less than this bike, and I’m on the fence given the weight.
Bought a brand new one ...rode it only twice and its already leaking coolant out of the WEEP HOLE...in my opinion JUNK....
it's ynder warranty, get it fixed. my 2021 is a beast

Factory foot pegs are way too small.
I up grade mine with new pegs handle bar big gun exhaust and ejk and i rip thru the woods im not a kid im 45 and bike is a.lot of fun

I think it's a real good bike that most people that do reviews on it aren't the sharpest pencil in the box

becuase i never thought to look for it, i noticed when i when back to my house and tried to look for the kick starter... on top of that, i sold the dirt bike and got a zx-6r
None of em have kick starters these days brah!
