And I prefer MIDI editors/DAWs with easy click-drag navigation, not this ancient mouse scroll wheel BS we still have to deal with... Thank you, MuLab. You ROCK
@@x-techgaming while Mulab is great as a whole, the MIDI editor is the most simplistic and feature-less I've seen in any DAW. So yeah, the navigation is neat, but it lacks a lot of other features.
Hey there, finally getting around to learning Mixcraft functions and stuff. Any one knows how to make note shifts? Like sliding on a guitar string, from a C do a G for example. Let me know, I have been trying to figure this out for a while. Great tutorials 👍
this is amazing tutorial .. and so useful/ I would like to ask where I can find most of the sound effects and loops and beats .. if you can provide me a link or something that will be great. thanks
Glad the video was helpful! These samples are from Cameron's personal library, you can find these sounds from his Urbex sample pack on his website venustheory.com/samples For the piano, that would be our Pianissimo plugin which you can find at acoustica.com/products/pianissimo
Hey there! Glad you enjoyed the video! Those drums are from Cameron (aka Venus Theory)'s personal library - they are from his sample pack 'Urbex' which you can see at his website: venustheory.com/samples
Is there any way to set ghost notes or channel in piano roll like in FL Studio, I am using mixcraft since 2013 and honestly this has been the best daw I have used so far, but is there any ghost note or channel settings here?
Hey there! To do that, you could go into the piano roll and select a scale next to the 'snap' settings. Then, the white areas of the piano roll would represent notes in that scale. As for channels, you can use the down arrow next to the 'arm' button of the virtual instrument track to set the recording channel of MIDI data. Alternatively you can right click a MIDI note in a clip to change it's channel settings if you need to only adjust one note.
@@acoustica222 thanks for information, however I wasn't looking for any scale representing information, its just that Mixcraft is an amazing daw if we compare it to the other daws in the market, but it looks pretty nice when the piano roll shines with different colors through the notes, looks pretty cool in FL studio and Ableton specifically when you remake a song and upload a piano roll video of the remake.
I hope you can help me on this. So I'm recording an instrumental track however I want to convert that track and drag it to the audio/wave. Any helpful tips?
Hey there! That would depend on the instrument if you're referring to multiple outputs. Some VST drum instruments (Addictive Drums for example) offer multiple outputs so you can individually mix/treat the drum sounds. For more information on multiple outs in Mixcraft, you can see page 47 of the manual here: acoustica.com/mixcraft/support/manual If you need further help though, feel free to get in touch with our support team at support.acoustica.com!
Can i use pitch bend to make my 808 bass slide? I'm trying to get that trap beat type bass glide in between notes. So times mixcraft does it by accident when moving about the mix, everyone is doing it in some other daws, please can you help me as I love using mixcraft and hope to keep on using. Thank you.
@@acoustica222 thank you for replying, I'm still not sure how to achieve this 808 glide effect . Perhaps a video would be useful. I have made some good hip hop type beats on mixcraft and I'm impressed thus far with the software.,now its time to improve on and experiment with what else I can achieve.
Hey there! You can actually control pitch bend with a MIDI controller! If you don't have one though, you can access that in the CC Data Editor as 'pitch wheel'. If you need further help, feel free to contact our support team at support.acoustica.com!
Portamento/Slide would need to be enabled in the instrument. If you're using one of the stock instruments, feel free to get in touch with our support at support.acoustica.com and we'd be glad to assist you with that! Otherwise, for third party instruments, you should be able to find out if/how to enable portamento in the manual!
Hey there! If you're referring to automation, you can open the Automation Toggle on the track to view the automation and then make changes. If this isn't what you're referring to or need further help, feel free to contact our support at support.acoustica.com!

I prefer midi editors with a dark background. It’s easier on the eyes.

Can someone explain to me why my MIDI Data Editor is Broken?
Missing function in mixcraft midi editing is note saving so you can not use them later in other projects.. Like save score function in FL studio
