@@xAgonisx doing that right now. Dusted off my MW5 in prep for this week's DLC. I don't know why I keep getting myself excited for these releases, they're always underwhelming.
the soundtracks were a kind of tribal mixed with a more future tone that made traversing and fighting on planets a lot more atmospheric as well as reminding you of the still "tribal" ways of the clans and how it was more about bringing honor with stuff like the "trials" that were kind of like organized battles that prevented collateral damage. where as in mercenaries you played in the inner-sphere where it was more "lets blow shit up! mechs houses factories you name it, its rubble!"
Rogue Packets Thanks! I've been meaning to get around to labeling the list like this, but due to work, playing MechWarrior Online, and being lazy, I kept forgetting. I copied and pasted your comment into the description.
Searching Forever is my favorite topic, how I love it. It is an image of the power of clans and at the same time emphasizes the special role of the family - a unique feature of the clan of ghostly bears. An alarming and at the same time warm, romantic melody.
This must be the Titanium Edition soundtrack, I have been searching for the song at 31:32 foreverrrr... I love you! would you be able to maybe upload a vid of just that song? or maybe link an mp3 download or something? I was litteraly about to go on amazon or ebay and buy the whole Titanium Trilogy to rip that one song lol. I love it so much!
That was the main reason why I uploaded this video. No one else on youtube had Jungle Jive in their collection. If you'd like this song, install Download Helper in your Firefox browser and download this video as an mp4. Then use Windows Live Movie Maker to split the video into individual tracks. If you want the videos as mp3 only, from there just convert them with "FLV to AVI MPEG WMV 3GP MP4 iPod Converter".
This track was definitely on the Titanium edition; I had them both. It had the standard 'pyre light' music in the regular version. It reminds me of this, blessed be Timothy Seals' holy name ua-cam.com/video/PoCrEuov6cY/v-deo.htmlm29s And also this ua-cam.com/video/YWclkAIMpGY/v-deo.html
Lol my 7 year old self loved the Stone Rhino. I was utterly terrible at the game, and didnt understand all the intricacies of mech building, but loved taking the Stone Rhino, swapping its guns for 3 Gauss Rifles and blowin stuff to pieces
I don't know why, but I thought the Stone Rhino came with three large pulse lasers. I haven't found anything to back that up, so maybe I came up with it? I never owned the game as a kid, but my Uncle let me play his copy while we were over at Grandma's house, so I have patchwork memories of that.
I always thought it was tied to the rest of the OST on the TITANIUM EDITION, since it's the install music for basline MW2. I listen to it when I'm doing intensive computer repairs and mechanical fixes ^.^
+Galamere If you want to hear Duncan Fisher again, go try MWLL and play Solaris Arena in it. It's pretty awesome to hear him say "Hellllllooooo Beautiful!" again when you buy the right mech. Or "Uhhhhhhh, What's that?!"
Thanks for ripping the soundtrack. Unlike with frogjedi4's Ghost Bear Legacy soundtrack uploads, these tracks don't seem to have their volume capped, and I appreciate that. Been waiting for "#14 Jungle Hive" (which played on Titanium's version of the "Raid on Jeanette" level) forever. :D Although, I've never heard "#9 Mech Chant" before. I wonder where it's played?
how many tracks are reused from Mechwarrior 2 (the main game)? ive seen multiple listings online that show different tracks and names, some with tracks from the first game with new names....
ive honesly wanted nothing but to run and play MW2: GBL cuz i played the sh*t out of MW 2, MW2:mercs and MW3 mw4 was.. meh but the first mech assault was awesome 2 not so much.. still on the fence about MWO...
If you wish to reupload this, then perhaps using an audio-editing program such as Audacity would help you cherry-pick the best of both CDs and splice them together.
Something horrible happened to the 1st Half of this Vid ! The Audio is a jacked up sounds like it being played under Running Water 🚿 I think it has something to do with Auxiliary?
By the way, I noticed a bit of garbling in your tracks. In the future, you may want to think twice about compressing audio tracks that are in lossy compression formats, such as MP3s and OGGs, since, as the name implies, compressing them will result in data being lost, resulting in a degraded quality, which can be noticed by how garbled the tracks become.
Whos here after all this time and still loving it
I am here after MW5 steam release and the OST sucks...
🙌

Omnifun.
So tracks from MW2 were recycled for this game? (I recognise Arkham Bridge & Bone Machine)
@@joshdykgraaf2161 omnifun, under the sun, heated blast, smoke jaguar scum, arkham bridge, and bone machine.
Search and Destroy is by far my favorite. Great track! "Dropship Justice to 22nd Guard, enemy dropship heading this way bearing 030!"

play mechwarrior online with this music is nostalgic
thats the only way i play
There's an mod for MechWarrior Online that replaces the FX with the Soundtrack and FX of MechWarrior 2.
Still how my buddies and I do it.
Ah... The memories.
Never played this or any other mech warrior games unfortunately but dear god the music mw2 and this slap! Underwater run is my fav
Underwater run is awesome
one chance left sounds so sinister. I love it.
6:26 “Alright cadet, time to see what you have learned...”
It's probably a coincidence, but what I liked about the OSTs for Mechwarrior 2(Mercenaries is an exception) were that they mostly sounded tribal.
thanks for the upload
Track 8 or "One chance left" is my absolute favorite musical addition to giant robotic war machines known as BattleMechs
I always thought with its (to me presumed) apocalyptic themes it became an unofficial theme of the WOB jihad to me.

I have the original soundtrack, but that particular song I liked was only in the titanium version of the game.

Pretty good game for an "expansion pack".
Plus, the Stone Rhino...I mean, c'mon, everybody needs a Marauder IIC on steroids.

Hell yeah, a Stone Rhino! A rare beast indeed!
Yeah. I'd take either the Stone Rhino, or the 'gigantic terrifying bear rearing up on its hind legs' Kodiak, and I'd use them to boat Arrows.
I don't know why, but I thought the Stone Rhino came with three large pulse lasers. I haven't found anything to back that up, so maybe I came up with it? I never owned the game as a kid, but my Uncle let me play his copy while we were over at Grandma's house, so I have patchwork memories of that.

search and destroy is my fave
Whoa, I don't remember Searching Forever sounding so calming. I remember heart beats in the background o.o
This song gave me the infiltrator/assassin feeling, while being lost with no possibility of return.
Same here, but the version in my game is way different XD

2023 and what I wouldn't give to be able to play MW2, GBL, and MW2M again...
thx or this, it was great background music for my D&D campaign last night.
My favorite of the games (Never got to play 3 though) played so much of this...
+Galamere 3 was possibly one of the best mechwarriors to bad it died in about 4 or so but game play was still not as bad
I'll still pop in 4 Vengence now and again for some sweet, sweet Solaris action ^_^ Cant wait for the new Battletech game ^_^
