Watching this video gave me goosebumps, the way Japanese treated Charice is beyond words. Thank you Japan for all your love and support to Charice. This just really gave me chills, watching those hands reached for hers, the cheers, the shouts, the claps, applauds & everything in between exceeded my expectations of how Japanese will accept her. Charice is indeed a SUPERSTAR in Japan....Tickets in 3 cities in Japan were SOLD OUT 2 months prior to the concert.....see how Japanese appreciate her immense talent. Charice and her band have truly now found their groove; they really play well together. Thanks to David Foster for helping her choose them. Sad and happy to see DF have now become an executive for Verve/Universal. Sad because he can no longer mentor Charice due to competitive restrictions, happy that he had given her a big career boost in the right direction. Although, they can still perform together albeit in a limited way.

Her voice is exactly the same as it used to be, just changed the way she approaches the higher notes in her songs. Everyone was saying she had lost her ability to sing like she used to because she doesn't just belt the higher notes out anymore. But judging from the range she is displaying here. I think rather than having lost the ability I think she's singing smarter to conserve her voice and keep her higher range in tact. So she changed the way her higher register is used in the songs.
I really admire your courage and zest for taking this videos abi4cha, you are just like Lantao. nice seeing you last year at Tokyo International forum ( DFF ) I was hoping I could see you again there but I and my wife got the second to the last row seat (row 27 /4&5) well maybe next time. We only stayed there for 3 days and back here again in Melbourne.
I therefore conclude that bcoz of LOUDER, the cause and epicentre of the recent Tokyo earthquake was not at Chiba but inside Shibuya Public Hall..THAT REALLY ROCKED TOKYO, LOL!

It must have been really difficult though having to retrain her voice on how to approach it. If she had lost her ability to sing like that altogether, you would think her higher register would have suffered from ware and overuse, and yet her lower powerful notes are still really loud and equally in tact. But considering the key her voice rises to here, her voice can't have been damaged all that much if at all. So yes I definitely think she's singing differently to protect her voice from damage.
