Although financial advice is arbitrary and what works for one person may not work for another, planning is always preferable. I consider myself fortunate to have been introduced to personal finance at a young age. I started working at the age of 19, purchased my first house at the age of 28, was laid off at the age of 36 during the COVID-19 pandemic, and immediately sought advice from an advisor to manage the expansion of my finances. After further investments, as of right now, I'm only 25% short of my $1 million target
This intrigues me. I've looked up financial advisors online, but finding one to connect with is a bit difficult. Do you mind if I ask for your recommendation?
Well, I chose Kristin Amber Landis as my advisor after her interview on CNBC In 2020. She is SEC regulated with offices in the US and quite frankly a genius with portfolio diversification. You should look her up
I got married in a restaurant that was closed on Sunday afternoons. It had a room with a fireplace. It was beautiful. I bought a roll of white lace plastic tablecloth that we used to cover their black tables. Wedding and reception in the same room. Awesome!
People now day don’t seem to think they can get married without a $40,000 wedding..my wedding cost around $300 and my mom and dad paid $300 for my dress..got married in church I attended, flowers on the altar, had 3 bridesmaids dresses made and rented mens tucks..reception in fellowship hall with cake, punch, mints and chips..this was 44 years ago so of course things were cheaper but I cannot imagine having a wedding costing $1,000s of dollars, I would elope, lol
@@Shopgirl1 My daughter got married at city hall with family and friends in 2018. We paid for a wedding dinner and hired a local photographer for wedding pictures and the dress. It cost $900.00. The happy couple saved up for a belated honeymoon in Italy the following year.
I had a cheap wedding . Dress. Under 50 on eBay ..we got married at city hall .I think 25 dollar fee .rings were cheap . Food afterward was at moms apartment complex . Family made food . Hotel a little ways out of town under 100

That 1 in 10 families rent a storage unit is a wild stat to me. No wonder there’s been so many new storage unit places pop up by me. My question is what are you storing that you can’t fit in your house, are you a hoarder? Or do you hold inventory for your business? I just never saw a point of those things for the average person.
I have 2 adults and 2 toddlers in an 800sq ft house, and a current inability to buy outright a storage shed for my property. I don't have genuine storage space, so until I can aquire one/get rid of all my belongings, I need to rent one.
I watched this video of a couple who would buy from yard sales and resell the items for profit. They acquired so much stuff they rent a storage unit. They spend $300 a month to store items they would make a $5 profit on. Even if they sold everything in the storage unit (for top dollar), they would still end up losing money from the amount they’ve paid in storage fees. They couldn’t wrap their brain around that
A lot of people in small apartments rent one for seasonal decorations and things they do not have room for in the house. In our area, a lot of storage rooms are also rented by people in the military who are deployed.
Another tip when eating with friends is to get an appetizer instead of a meal. With water and the free bread, you can enjoy time together at about half the cost of ordering an entree.
I find that issue is more about the mum statement than the baby. It doesn't care what it's wearing or the last trends and they grow alarmingly fast. Anything 2nd hand or free, someone always just had a baby. Give them a good wash and free clothes..
My hubs and I look at greeting cards together and show each other the ones we would buy, some that are just funny, and then we leave them there- all the sentiment without the trash or the cost! It’s a pretty fun date😅
I volunteer for many events that I go to. It's a win-win because I get to see theater, concerts, etc. for free, and the venue has someone to help with the event. I've saved hundreds by just volunteering.
I visited my company's corporate office once and there is a Starbucks in the lobby but free Starbucks drip coffee in the breakrooms. Every morning there was still a wait in line to get coffee. I happily waited knowing it was going on my expense report but I kind of felt bad for the people that had to resist that temptation every day. The worst was that you could charge it on your employee card and they would just deduct it from your paycheck so people wouldn't even pay attention to how much was spent until they got their pay stub :(
The funeral is made for the people who are left behind after someone dies. That being said, a lot of the things associated with funerals may not need to be very expensive.
I always get boxes of cards...sometimes they're blank, sometimes they're all occasion. Usually the cards are only $1 each & nicer than the $4-5 ones in stores. I am 76 & have never had a manicure or pedicure...& don't have plans to get either.
I would add more to the list: 16. McDonalds and most other fast food chains. Why pay for overpriced food that's bad for you too. Pack your own sandwiches for road trips. 17. Starbucks. Make your own coffee at home. Program your coffeemaker's timer so you don't have to get up so early in the morning to make coffee. 18. Amusement parks. You spend most of the day standing in lines and everything in the park is overpriced. 19. Movie Theaters. A splurge nowadays, not just the movie concessions. Even subscriptions like Disney+ are a waste of money too. All the Disney classics are at your local libraries. I just borrow DVD / Bluray from the local library and make my own air popped popcorn at home for the family on movie nights. 20. Faster home internet plans. You most likely don't need Gigabit speeds. Try the basic speed tiers first and make sure you have up to date network equipment like your WiFi router. Never rent your ISP's equipment either. Use your own. 21. Unlimited mobile data plans. You probably don't need it. Wait till you have wifi for big downloads and updates. Save videos and music onto your phone or tablet for offline on the go use. 22. Basic vehicle maintainances. You can service things like the air filters, windshield wipers, bulbs, and car battery yourself. 23. Luxury cars especially German ones. Stick with Toyotas. You just need to get from point A to B. Don't waste money and time on expensive repairs and depreciation. 24. Gym memberships. You can walk around the local park or do workouts for free. 25. Bottled water. In most cases, you can install your own water filter at home. Bring your own filtered water with you. 26. Name brand products. Store brand or generics are often good if not better than the name brand ones. In this economy with the inflation, we all really need to cut back on spending.
I’ve improved my body composition by lifting and progressing. Weights are expensive im not quitting my gym membership for that. It’s easy to get a cheap membership tho I pay $10 a month and use it 4-5 days out of the week.
My German luxe car just reached ten yrs old, I’ve had it for nine and each time I look at it I still get the same joy as the day I bought it. Its style hasn’t aged. If you buy something you truly love, use it often and treat it well, it’s a considered purchase that can bring much happiness. A Toyota can cost just as much depending on which one you buy.
#16. If you buy mcdonalds, use their apps and only buy in deals. (as a treat). Learn how to cook! #17 Don't drink coffee everyday. It will make you sluggish later, and makes you tolerant to coffee. Which, again, makes you drink more coffee just to get that same high. #18 Parks are free #19 UA-cam has free movies (not piracy, they offer free movies). #20/#21 It depends. If you download a lot then it will save you a ton of money. If you want to save then just don't use fiber optic and settle for Mint's unli plan which you can both use as home internet, or data. (use can also use a dedicated cheap phone you can buy as a hotspot for it) #22/#23 Ride a motorcycle (or a bike). Cars are expensive. You don't need it unless you have a family of 4+. If you live solo, then a scooter is fine. #24 Buy dumbbells and use exercise apps. #25 Don't reuse bottled water AND ALWAYS CLEAN YOUR WATER BOTTLE! (bacteria multiplies every 15 minutes). #26 Yes, generic are the same with name brands when it comes to efficacy, but sometimes people think name brands work better due to placebo (I still buy generics since I know about the placebo effect).
I miss drive-in theaters. You could see a _double-feature_ for $6.50 and bring your own popcorn. Up until about 2006 there was an old drive-in open with a half-hour's drive of me, and it was a fun and easy way to spend a Saturday night. We even had a tailgate potluck with friends at a drive-in double feature one time. Nobody disturbing you by talking on their cell or being loud in the seat next to you. No need to hire a sitter, take the kids along already dressed in their pajamas, and they fall asleep in the car before the second show.
Support your local restaurants, bookstores, movie theaters and record stores - Walmart doesn't need your business but your local family businesses does. I happily overpay a few dollars to keep them in business ❤😅
OMW, George ALWAYS makes me literally lol!!! His body language, facial expressions, and quick wit is hysterical. Every video he makes, and every appearance on other Ramsey videos-he's absolutely hilarious! Great insight, but he has the most entertaining content EVER!
Ridesharing apps SAVE me money by allowing me and my husband to share 1 car. I mostly use public transit, but there are times when its not feasible. IF you are cutting down a car, ridesharing CAN be much cheaper than, gas, insurance, wear-and-tear, ect. of your car, depending on how often you use it. Sometimes biking, walking, or public transit are not good options. You can pry my ridesharing from my cold, dead hands. The ability to use rideshare apps have saved me SO much money.
As someone that uses Uber literally every day of my life because I am blind. I feel like it is so expensive. I probably spend about $800 a month in Uber rides.
my husband and i got married in 2020, didn't want to spend a lot of money on it so for our rings we went to Reese found them on sale (did buy them with a CC however we paid that off in less then a year). i got my dress from ROSS store spent money on the marrage license, and a few things from hobby lobby only bad thing is we got it from the wedding section we could of gotten the sand cheaper in another section of the store. in total the wedding was 150.00 paid in cash hubs family paid for the food
The phone service was a big one for my family. We went from paying $200 a month to $800 for the year for 4 people. The service is great and problem free.
I know a woman who's husband passed. She put the bulk of what was in the house in a storage unit and moved in with her parents. Fast-forward about 15 years; her kids took over; something they should have done years earlier because of dementia. Most of the stuff and junk was put on her now deceased parents carport, unprotected from the elements. Months later they brought a roll off dumpster to the property which became the coffin for a good portion of it. Some of it trash that never should have been packed; papers nobody needed and multiple mattresses Goodwill would have rejected, as well as stuff they would have been grateful for. The rest of it sat there for 2 or 3 more years. They just brought another roll off - the fourth in as many years; each has left with plenty of room and much left behind - more went in, the rest is still there. Anyway, it was just a complete waste of $22,000, money that is really needed now for her care.
Daves method has definate millionaire results (worked for us- 43yr old with only an associates degree and a husband in trade- started program in 2019) the other is speculation- prob will result in continued debt.
Id highly recommend buying them at the end, end of Christmas when they are reduced, end of Mothers/Fathers day and end of Valentines and buy them ready for next years, also do this with Christmas lights and decorations...😊
The nice restaurant advice works for me and my wife if we can duplicate what we would have at home. Going to a fancy steakhouse is pretty much a thing of the past. However, for us, we have discovered the hard way that a good sea bass or duck dish is best left to the pros.
Good thing George put in that catch all CYA statement at the end about prioritizing where you spend your money, especially after that suggestion of going to the Olive Garden for a wedding or rehearsal dinner. 😅
Made the mistake of purchasing a new car a while ago and I definitely will not do that again. Would you please make a video as to how we should go about purchasing a used car? A lot of info online, and I would love to have a more frugal point of view. I have a wife and my family is growing, so we are really looking to into the SUV/minivan field. Want to make sure we do our homework to find the best deal.
I agree with George on this list, except for the movie theater concessions. We go to the movie theater maybe once or twice per year. It is nice to see some movies on the big screen, so we want to help ensure the theater stays in business. They get very little money from the movie studio, relying on concessions to keep the lights on. Since we go so infrequently, we can treat it as a splurge and get the large popcorn and drink for $15. How's this for cheap...er, I mean FRUGAL? My wife and I always give each other nice, high-dollar cards. We do this while at the greeting card rack in the store. I browse through the cards to find the perfect one, and hand it to her. She does the same for me. Then we put them back. Of course, we don't write in the cards or even put them in their envelopes. The sentiments have been shared and it didn't cost us $20 for two cards. Cards for other people are normally from a bulk greeting card pack or the $1 card section.
My husbands coworker was just a part of his brothers wedding. He told my husband that the wedding was over 250,000.00 before the month long honeymoon. Thats crazy.
I work at a cafe in a hospital and it's insane to me how many employees eat there for both bfast and lunch and get two coffees every day. Thats alot of money!! Make food at home, and treat yourself say on a Friday
I also used to work at a hospital. I talked to one of the people that worked in the coffee shop there. She said it was not unusual for people to buy two or three coffees a day, these were the six dollar type of coffees. Four shots of caffeine each. They were wired on a sugar high and the caffeine high, and they were spending a lot of money. It’s crazy.
#16 Lawn Car services. I see many young healthy looking people moving into my older suburban neighborhood using law care services. Way cheaper to get a lawn mower and trimmer and do it yourself if you are physically able. I checked into it after a surgery a few years back and it was way overpriced. I hired a neighbor kid to do it for $25 a week for a few weeks. He was happy and I was happy.
Lovely greeting cards are available at the Dollar Tree and some are only 50 cents. I also cut greeting cards we have received into post card size and save by category. Then I can use a postcard stamp (cheaper than a first-class stamp). I find that people appreciate being remembered, not necessarily how expensive the card is.
I love this. I've been interested in real estate investing and as such have spent a lot of time talking to real estate investors who have very carefully picked out parameters for determining whether a property is worth the investment. It somewhat reminds me of eccentric collectors that are looking for very specific markers of quality. I think shopping similarly for things we spend money on is an excellent skill. I'm also very lucky that I married a woman who naturally does this. She won't pay full price for anything, and it helps us focus on spending money specifically on things that are meaningful to spend money on rather than just buying things with little or no thought that we may or may not actually use or enjoy.
My daughters son-in-law took me to the movies and with tickets hotdogs drinks, popcorn, etc. we spent or I should say they spent about 95 bucks and I was amazed. And then my son-in-law said it’s concession sales that keeps the theaters running so if we don’t buy their food, they’ll end up closing down. And this is a little teeny town, Tennessee and the only theater around 4 miles so he was doing his part. I know I have a better understanding of popcorn prices.😂
Head’s up - trade schools are FOR-profit- but find an American Job Center and get a training voucher and WIOA (federally funded workforce programming) will pay for training by accredited training providers. Free money - you do the work and get the certifucation.
Definitely agree with this list. My family found a great plan with our cell carrier for a family of 4 so it's $25 each. It's straight talk. It works for us. We have limited choices where we live.
Number 1, so true, I spend less then half of that price and some of it still got used too little for my taste. Also, buy cheap stuff - the clothes doesn't have to endure many wash cycles.
I buy greeting cards at the Dollar Tree. They are 2 for $1.00. I am 70 years old and never in my entire life have I had a manicure or pedicure. And I never will.
IM the same 64 never had nails done,or brows do my own, never had a spray tan and not been near a hairdresser in 40 years I do my own and wear it up,I look just as good as my sister who does all of it and spends a fortune.
There’s a difference between living frugal and living within your means. There are times when you shouldn’t worry about spending if it’s within your means like buying a gift for your wife, taking her out for a nice dinner, etc
I'm retired and eat out quite often because I enjoy it. But I always live within my monthly income and have a large retirement savings for life's surprises.
@@gwenj5419 as you should, you’re retired so you can do whatever as long as you don’t blow through your retirement. Living frugal should be for people who do it for choice or are in a years income worth of debt.
TSA can stop you for having too many snacks . My buddy has dietary restrictions so he travels with a bunch of special bars and he has been flagged at security for too many food items .
What did they do when they "flagged" him? Inspect him more closely? I can live with that. Confiscate some? I can also take that risk (it has happened, ONCE, in many years of flying). But, generally, we pack abundant food for international and domestic trips, and if we avoid pastes and liquids, we have very few problems. If you bring a water bottle, dump it before security, and refill it after. Easy-peasy. If you have a medical condition (like the friend you mentioned), you can research how to bring proof from your doc for the accommodations you need.
My husband’s birthday, son’s birthday, Father’s Day and graduations all fall together. So it highlights how much it costs when you buy it all at once. I think we’re going to start making at least some of them.
Got myself a 2019 CX5 for 23k loaded with features including adaptive cruise control with only 41k miles. A new one, with just Bose sound was already 43k.
Another Idea for cards is to only give them to people who really appreciate them ( usually not kids or men.) I take cards people have given me, glue a piece of paper over the writing and reuse them, I like to do some drawings etc to make it more personal and to cover up the edges of the glued on paper if its showing.
To be fair to the movie theatre... if they don't mark it up then they will have to lay off tons of workers Usher's concessionist managers in most theaters shut down because of the fact that concessions do not get bought.
I love watching George's videos. He is entertaining and has good points in his various videos but if there is one thing that I will not take any advice from him about is cars. He purchased a used (4 owners) 165,000 miles Tesla with 2 minor accidents... You can't tell me that it is wrong that my husband and I purchased our Tesla new (our only car).. We don't care about depreciation (it is worth about 49% now 4 years later), etc.
Overpriced item: specialty coffee drinks. Frugal alternative: stovetop espresso maker/moka pot and manual milk frothed/French press. You can hack your way to near cafe quality lattes, mochas, etc. with less than $50 of equipment (you could probably get it for $20-$30 if you cruise fb marketplace).
As far as greeting cards, I pay apittance a year for American Greetings E cards. Animated, singing , holidays etc. Worth Every Penny. They only time you should send physical cards is sympathy cards.
Im in need of a new car soon but A. Dont want to break the bank and B. Dont want it to be depreciating fast or costing a ton of upkeep Im terrible with cars, any advice?
so true with the airport food, but man, I only travel once every 3 months. I want that double whopper as breakfast at 5 AM while I wait for my cheap Ryanair flight haha. 11£ well spent IMO
The thing about #10 is if people are drinking and they get drunk then they aren’t gonna make good decisions. I’ve heard friends say they woke up with a hangover and saw their online bank statement and about had a heart attack.
Food with a really high mark-up compared to preparing it yourself: pre-made pancakes, bottled iced tea, precut fruit, veggie trays, pre-shredded or sliced cheese, brownies from the bakery, already hard boiled eggs. None of those things take very much skill to prepare yourself and the price can be more than double.
Just bought 2 boxes of greeting cards because the Jacquie Lawson e-cards were just too similar and impersonal. Bonus: these 2 boxes will last the year and they totaled less than a Jacquie Lawson subscription.
I’m in the unfortunate position of needing a new vehicle and it’s crazy how many people tell me to get a new car so it’s reliable or right now new is a better deal. Even if it is a better deal, if I can’t afford to pay cash it isn’t a good deal! For now my 02 randomly doesn’t start but on the days it works I’ll find something I can pay cash for. Ideally before the new school year so my boss doesn’t get upset if I’m late again cause I had to take the city bus last min 😂
I saved around $3600 cloth diapering two kids. Im surprised more frugal living videos don't talk about this. I bought a lot of second hand cloth diapers when I was pregnant with my first for around $100 and used them for both kids. After my kids were potty trained I used them as cleaning rags for many years. I used cloth wipes as well. Cloth is far more healthy for the baby too, chemicals in disposable diapers are very harmful.
I’m SO frugal. Example: I spent about 10 minutes downloading an app ordering through the app at a subway to save $2 on my sub. However I WILL pay $89-$100 for a mani pedi (tip included) went two weeks. It’s “me time” and I do corporate consulting so it helps me look and feel put together.
On #3, we can beat your 99¢ card from TJ’s: we just send one of those card that various charities mail out 5-9 at a time. Some group or another mails us a packet about once every other week. Some have birthday or whatever greetings preprinted in them, most are blank. Oh, we have never given money to any of these groups.
Is this a good time to talk about destination weddings? In my opinion, they are, or can be, an unnecessary burden on the invitees, some of whom may be your family members who are on a budget. To me, if a certain destination is that important to you, have your honeymoon there! Going to a wedding already creates an expense for your guests ( clothes, gift, etc) Don’t make it worse. My spouse and I recently attended a local wedding of someone who wasn’t even that close of a friend and it cost us $300 when all was said and done!
💅 Mani-Pedis are lovely and fun, but holey guacamole 🥑 are they expensive!!! My daughter and I go about twice a year for special occasions and went last week to celebrate me finishing my masters degree (debt-free!) I was shocked that for her to get her finger and toenails painted (not a manicure or pedicure, just polish) and my pedicure was $130 😮
I went earlier this year for a special treat and it was the first time snice before 2020. I was shocked that a simple pedicure was $50 plus tip and they rushed through the service so not very relaxing. I will gladly spend that special occasion $ on something better in the future.
Hi @George, I have a question regarding the term insurance - doesnt it expire after the 10 or 20 yr term? Like what's the benefit especially if after the 10 or 20 yr term, alls good with you and your family, you lose the money - what's the benefit there? Would like to understand more like maybe there's something I'm missing?
Handmade card would be more valuable. Also, maybe some present, her favorite food, or something bigger from time to time. Giving a generic mother's day card doesn't have much meaning anyway
Nobody talks about it, but walmart pickup / walmart drop off is the greatest budgeting hack ever. Shop from your home from your meal plan, know exactly how much youre going to spend before spending it, and dont get caught giving into the end caps which try to make ya buy doritos on sale. You'll end up eating healthier and on a better budget. This is how my wife was able to become a stay at home mom while I was making 50k a year
You can also just stick to a list. I make it a game to see how fast I can get in, all the items in the buggy and to my truck. Only times I go off list is when I see something I know didn't make it onto the list but should have.
I bought my last car brand new and I don't regret the purchase at all. Of course I bought a 2006 Toyota and I am still driving at 18 years later so I figure it was actually a pretty good investment on my part.

They are a full $1 now here in Indiana.

Add management fees and expense ratios for actively managed funds to the list.
When we eat out we always get water, the price of soda drinks is insane.
Yes!
If you don’t eat out you can even save more lol
Another tip when eating with friends is to get an appetizer instead of a meal. With water and the free bread, you can enjoy time together at about half the cost of ordering an entree.
George is doing a fantastic job; As always. Thanks for the great information sir.
Goodwill is a great place to get baby clothes. They grow so fast, so a lot of the stuff is like new. It is kind of fun digging through it all.

😂 We've done that too!
I volunteer for many events that I go to. It's a win-win because I get to see theater, concerts, etc. for free, and the venue has someone to help with the event. I've saved hundreds by just volunteering.
Great idea!
Same here. I volunteered at clothes swap. Saved 6 digits in 14 years. 😀
Stopping at the coffee shop on the way to work, when work has free coffee. Lol
People who get coffee on the way to work everyday are nuts. You can have a gourmet coffee at home for pennies.
The worst was that you could charge it on your employee card and they would just deduct it from your paycheck so people wouldn't even pay attention to how much was spent until they got their pay stub :(
@@lillynevers7305lol that is insane that they have payroll deduction for starbucks
Hey just a tip, why don't you guys talk about how to handle funeral expenses? I bet a lot of people would like to know more about that
esay--- donate your body after death. what is the point of a funeral-----
The funeral is made for the people who are left behind after someone dies.
That being said, a lot of the things associated with funerals may not need to be very expensive.
I send cards to my mother-in-law. She lives in Alaska and it makes her feel loved.
My last car purchase was in 2019. Toyota Camry LE for 20000 even. Paid cash.
How long did it take you to save 20,000?
I always get boxes of cards...sometimes they're blank, sometimes they're all occasion. Usually the cards are only $1 each & nicer than the $4-5 ones in stores.
I am 76 & have never had a manicure or pedicure...& don't have plans to get either.
Dollar Tree has a pretty good selection of cards.
I would add more to the list:
Great tips, for sure.
#18 Parks are free
#19 UA-cam has free movies (not piracy, they offer free movies).
#20/#21 It depends. If you download a lot then it will save you a ton of money. If you want to save then just don't use fiber optic and settle for Mint's unli plan which you can both use as home internet, or data. (use can also use a dedicated cheap phone you can buy as a hotspot for it)
#22/#23 Ride a motorcycle (or a bike).
#20 is a big one because most people don't even realize they are paying $15 a month to rent a router they can buy for $45 on amazon
I’m the opposite. I listen to the common sense nature of his (Dave’s) ideas, and (barely) tolerate his “funny” quips.
@@BK-gh9us eh, to each their own. :)
So agree.
Example of an overpriced item would be timeshares. The cheaper alternative would be buying the entire New York City skyline.
I wouldn't even call them overpriced. More like worst "investment" ever.
Daves method has definate millionaire results (worked for us- 43yr old with only an associates degree and a husband in trade- started program in 2019) the other is speculation- prob will result in continued debt.
Good one!
George is so good at video ideas around the sponsor. We get a great quality video whether we avail or not
Good thing George put in that catch all CYA statement at the end about prioritizing where you spend your money, especially after that suggestion of going to the Olive Garden for a wedding or rehearsal dinner. 😅
I thought it was a brilliant suggestion! Most catered dinners I've had at weddings weren't as good as Olive Garden.
Tiger's blood was always my favorite flavor. I haven't bought one in years, though.
I love my local movie theatre. It's 110 years old. I'm perfectly happy to overpay them for popcorn to keep them going.
I bet they are happy too
Awesome
Yeah, I know that popcorn and soda are marketing tactics, but I like them when I watch movies. I don't even eat them in any other situation😂
Support theatres and get the concessions a lot of teenagers get their first jobs here! Please support local business and as they are struggling.
Theatre can be 300 yr old I’ll buy popcorn but I’m sneaking candy
Brand new phones, or almost any electronics. They are generally much cheaper used, and sometimes still have manufacturers warranties
Please don’t touch things when you’re not buying.
My husbands coworker was just a part of his brothers wedding. He told my husband that the wedding was over 250,000.00 before the month long honeymoon. Thats crazy.
Yeah, and probably lasted 6 months.
@user-rm8rc1xi8g The wedding was just a few weeks ago. We give it less than that.
Wait…..”month” long honeymoon? That’s insane. 😳
It’s crazy.
Thank Goodness I know how to Cook otherwise I'd be a Fat Bachelor
Aren't employees discounted significantly?

George you are hilarious dude. Pure comedy every time, yet very witty “com-witty”
Love the idea for small weddings as a new event venue owner. 9:02
Missed opportunity to plug Smart Money Happy Hour - c’mon George!!
You might want to check TSA rules about bringing your own food on a flight. $ Tree has the best prices on greeting cards.
Your information is great..😊
Great video
Head’s up - trade schools are FOR-profit- but find an American Job Center and get a training voucher and WIOA (federally funded workforce programming) will pay for training by accredited training providers. Free money - you do the work and get the certifucation.
What is a training voucher? Do you have to be in a certain age bracket?
Definitely agree with this list. My family found a great plan with our cell carrier for a family of 4 so it's $25 each. It's straight talk. It works for us. We have limited choices where we live.
thumbed up just for the tiger's blood joke. well done.
How does Tello work? What happens if you have pictures and videos on your cell phone?

@@annai157 sometimes they let him through after inspection other times they make him through away all but 5 food items
George i buy in bulk ie toilet paper, cleaning supplies ❤
To be fair to the movie theatre... if they don't mark it up then they will have to lay off tons of workers Usher's concessionist managers in most theaters shut down because of the fact that concessions do not get bought.
Agree with everything, except the greeting cards, people enjoy receiving them Rebecca x

Me nodding along agreeing until he hits movie theater concessions. You’ll never take my movie theater popcorn!!🍿
If you pack your lunch for an airport….pack prepackaged food. That way if they search your lunch they won’t be touching your food

Don't you have generic cards stores in America that just sell cards gifts wrapping paper, balloons 😊

Frugal alternative: stovetop espresso maker/moka pot and manual milk frothed/French press.

The thing about #10 is if people are drinking and they get drunk then they aren’t gonna make good decisions. I’ve heard friends say they woke up with a hangover and saw their online bank statement and about had a heart attack.
It’s hard to live on less than what you make these days with the prices of everything.
Hi George
I buy my greeting cards at the dollar store usually the ones that are 2 for a $1. Or if I'm feeling fancy, I'll go for one of the $1 cards.
My daughter and I go about twice a year for special occasions and went last week to celebrate me finishing my masters degree (debt-free!)
I was shocked that for her to get her finger and toenails painted (not a manicure or pedicure, just polish) and my pedicure was $130 😮
I went earlier this year for a special treat and it was the first time snice before 2020.
I have a Goldendoodle and we groom her at home. Saves us around $200 every 6 weeks.
AMothers Day card once a year is a small investment for all the things Mothers do for their children!
Handmade card would be more valuable. Also, maybe some present, her favorite food, or something bigger from time to time. Giving a generic mother's day card doesn't have much meaning anyway
Just got to 9:44 Why does it have to be cash what’s wrong with my debit card or did you mean just not credit
