Yay! I was here 5 years ago for my first hanami in 29 years since the last time (I know), and it was amazing! I really loved the pink lanterns and all of the strawberry-themed items the shops along the street sold. The highlight was definitely the waterway just covered with all of the cherry blossom petals; truly gorgeous. Thanks for bringing back the flood of lovely memories, Shizuka!
oh, that looks amazing, and lookin' pretty amidst all that beautiful scenery, the production and editing is on point! I was very happy to see the items you chose, they all look so delicious, I'm having fun now thinking about exploring everything from top to bottom and being hypnotized by the cherry blossoms as I indulge in all the good stuff
This is so classic! Make me know you can film people drinking at an open street market festival and enjoy the time. Seeing the older people pass by there makes me see that living in Japan is well work it! 👍
I so miss Japanese street food and the warm friendliness of the communities for gatherings such as this. Arigato for bringing this to us Shizuka...I hope to make it out there for the Aki honbasho in Sept? I need to spend one full day watching sumo, then the rest exploring the wonderful eats and drinks.
Cherry Blossom Trees look great. Cheers. Absolutely love banana. Yum beef on a stick. Love champagne. Strawberry waffle YUM. Absolutely Loved Every Minute
I used to have a plum tree in the backyard that would bloom like that. Then you would wake up one day & it would look like snowfall. Hopefully it does that in Japan too! Keep up the great work!
this is looks like a best place to hang out, also imagine if your house is close to this place. you can just eat in your second floor of your house and watch the sakura. what a dreamy situation.
Enjoyed the video alot ❤❤❤ Thank you so much for the video 🙇🏻♀️ Sakura Blossoms were so pretty 💖 thank you for showing it to us too loved it 😆✨. Love Shizuka-san! She gives me so much happiness whenever I watch her 😍. Be safe and take care everyone 🙏🏻 God bless ❤
The dango looked delicious Shizuka! I've been to Japan several times but I never tried dango. When I go back to Japan I'll definitely eat one. Thank you for the cool video Shizuka!
Got to go to this festival in 2019 and visited again 1.5 weeks ago during my trip. It was still just as beautiful in the rain! I made a day of it and got a reservation at Haute Couture Cafe for the sakura sensory overload 😂
The banana with the dango 🍡. as a combo would be so wrong.😂. Sakura time is so festive. Cherry blossoms are celebrated in other countries but nothing like this. And drinking outdoors is cool, assume that people here are cool and respectful to get that ability.
the Tears of a Dreamcatcher are Precious , in the Season of the Cherry Blossom 🌸 , the fall of the Cherry Blossom Petals 🌸, is as the fall of the tears of the Dreamcatcher " , catch the petal , catch the tear , catch the Dream and make a wish . those who are Blessed by Dreamcatcher , always have a Dream . when it's Fate , there is no coincidence .
So, fun fact: my USN grandparents lived in Nihon post-WW2 ( in Okinawa ), and when they came back to the U. S., they had all of their household stuff sent to them. Unbeknownst to them, as a result, I developed a lifelong ❤️ for both the Japanese people and culture. Thank you so, so, sooooo much for your continued work in exposing the beautiful culture of Japan 🇯🇵 to the word; I literally cannot WAIT to experience it for myself someday! Domo arigatougozaimasu, Shizuka-Chan! 🎉😊
Think you might make a video in the US in Japanese districts like the one in San Francisco? Annual Cherry Blossom festival is coming up later this month!
Hey there! Just wondering, did you keep track of the calories from all the cherry blossom foodies you had? The strawberry bubble waffle looks horribly high in calories. Sometimes I worry about Shizuka... She should do many workouts this week! 🙀🙀🙀
My first trip to japan we visited here on the tail end of the season, and had yaki-imo (sweet potato from a truck), and then stayed here on a later trip for about a week during en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typhoon_Hagibis. Even outside sakura season, it's a great place to visit. Plenty of good food and bars, close to shibuya, canal is a nice place to walk, and several amazing coffee places in the area: onibus and switch (down the canal a bit, closer to meguro).
On average - 2 weeks, but 3 weeks at the very most. That's what people are impressed by - the fact that such showy flowers are fleeting and don't last a long time.
Love your channel. I did not know that you have your own channel, since I saw you on the Best Food Review Show with Sonny. I will subscribe to your channel since I am going to visit Japan this summer. Yippie
I always love Shizuka's energy!
Very contagious right?!
Those river shots are so beautiful!
They are! Thank you!

Shizuka beautiful as usual
I'm almost positive that Shizuka doesn't even know how to get upset or mad. She's was made out of full positive energy.
That's a big compliment! Not sure she would 100% agree with that assesment but thanks.
So cute and adorable 🥰. Thank you for all your blogs so informative and inspiring.
You are so welcome!
I love cherry blossoms so much I wish I could go to this festival!
We hope that you can make it someday!
Thank you for the Vlog.... It makes me want to visit Japan again and experience the cherry blossoms and the delicious foods. 😄😄
We hope you can come back then!
This is great! It seems so similar to festivals that I have seen here in the US... and yes Shizuka you are forgiven for breaking line. 😎
Good to know!

How to get there to naka meguro ? Near meguro yamanote station ? Or there is a nakameguro station ?
Tokyo Tokyu Line and Meguro Line! Very close to Shibuya:)
Which dates did u go?

Others may disagree haha
Hello your smile is very beautiful I'm from Bangladesh
8:26 awkward.... LOL
I would imagine someone who has alergic to the pollen would not be a good place to be around those flowers. It's pretty and refreshing though.

Good job I guess!
