Is it a good idea to invest with a bank and get monthly income from that money for five 5⃣ years? What's the difference between investing with banks and investing with investment companies like old mutual, discovery ect. Please help me understand.

I have come across that not everyone have to join this 2 pot system, if one was 55 yrs or older on 1st of mar’21, can opt out or join this system till 1st sept’25. Does this mean that a one can resign and cash out their pension till September 2025? Kindly advise.

It means you will have the option to "opt-in" should you chose.
