I’ve been with him for years . . . Just an old (68) fart in N.C. that loves to catch a fish . . . and loves watching others do the same. Love it when he goes “home” to the “Finger Lakes”!!!
Mr. Greg . . . Another video enjoyed; many "Thanks" 🤙! Went to ISE today and just got back a couple of hours ago. I knew you weren't presenting today 😟but I can't make it up to Sacramento this Saturday; would have loved the opportunity to shake your hand, and your crew also, and personally "Thank You" for your content. Would have loved to hear you speak as well. If ISE allows you to video your Q&A, and if you're OK with it, it would be AWESOME 😃if you could post your Q&A session on your channel.
I love the change over the last 5 years with the bait cave! I would love a before and after. Thanks for getting me through this winter I love kayak fishing but it gets hard up here in Canada;)
Its definitely been an evolution (mainly getting more crowded haha). I actually did sort of a transformation video a while back - ua-cam.com/video/ybe1R4mEAVA/v-deo.html
Greg, I really enjoy the different lakes, reservoirs, and scenery. At-least they were three healthy looking fish. Love how calm it gets, with the sun setting back to the launch. 😎 🛶 🎣
Was out at Berryessa a few days ago and had a very similar day. Oh well, it's just that time of year! Doesn't stop us from getting out on the water for a chance at a biggon! Cheers GB!
Coffee and setting the hook! Glad you mentioned that your buddies will be at the ISE with you - I really look forward to that! And yes, you didn't skunk after snaring some decent bass. Working the lure slowly in winter puts me to sleep 🙁 Take care and thank you for the excellent editing 😊
Lake looks great and those fish looked good and healthy.👍 Bummed I'll miss you all at the ISE but I got a chance to catch the last of the duck hunting season. Lookin forward to the next video....maybe a lil Berryessa winter action. Another tough winter lake I know but I'm sure with all those new electronics you should be able to find'm. 🤘🍻🍻
Love your video formatting with the introduction, love to watch your thought process and strategies when choosing tackle! Tight lines from SE Washington!
Greg your videos are informative and entertaining. You’ve encouraged me to get back on the water and I have a Native in order. Haven’t been this fish-brain-fever excited in years. Can you please share your thoughts on bow vs stern propulsion, specifically why you don’t run a trolling motor? Thanks Greg and please keep the vids coming!
Awesome video as always! Watching you use the mega 360 to orient your casts more accurately honestly looks much easier and effective for a kayak without spot lock! When the kayak is moving and the fish are moving it’s hard to line up two moving objects I was going to go with livescope for both the kayak and the boat but I think I’m going to add mega 360 to the kayak and livescope to the boat since it has spot lock
Great video as always. Have you considered installing visors on those graphs? I think they’re good not only for the sun glare, but also for the water gunk that gets on the screen…especially if you’re boat flipping bass over them
Greg- love your videos!!! Well, you finally convinced me and I am going to pick up my Titan X 12.5. Stoked beyond belief. Question- and maybe a dumb one. What is the simple work cart you use to load your boat on to your truck? Can you share a link? Looks like a great idea. Thanks!
Sometimes it’s just nice to get out tomorrow is Friday but rain is in the forecast for both days I just need to get out but usually don’t fish in the rain but I figured maybe I’d just go to the local lake to see what the conditions are just to get out after working all week.
I enjoy watching for videos Greg. I just bought a Titan X 12.5. I keep noticing the foot steering on your boat. Can you give us some details on the foot steering?
Another great video to add to the archive. I was thinking of giving Camanche a shot, but if you struggled I am not even going to attempt 😂. Thanks for the info Greg!
I'm starting to twitch and have widthdrawls myself its been lil over a month since i've got to hit the waters...tie up some of my jigs or air brush some lures .... my free time has been filled with overdue house chores 🤷♂ for me it's been over 20 yrs since I've been a back seater at Comanche.. keep grind'n an wind'n brother .... 👊
I can only imagine how much time you spend unloading and loading a single kayak now. When I got my kayak back in 2020 I streamlined everything and have simple steps loading and unloading taking maybe 5 mins. Completely decked out too.
Being that I regularly fish Camanche for trout, I recognize many of your locations. Have you tried fishing “upriver” - basically going the opposite direction from the marina? I catch lots of bass trolling for trout. If you ever wanna catch some fish to actually eat, let me know and I’ll put you on some trout.
@@GregBlanchardFishing I tried to say what’s up at the expo today, but dang brother you are popular hahaha.. super cool seeing all the people there for you man!
I’m sure this has been answered but i haven’t seen it.. What’s the take a trailer to the lake then put Kyak on it to launch thing … Do you not like braid to leader so you don’t have to re spool like that? i keep going back n forth with braid myself.. Can’t decide 😅
Quick question on the dolly. Do you leave the wheels in the bed of the truck or put them in the cab? Have a similar setup and just got my dolly. Love it so far!
Hey Greg: It's just me, but I think you'd do better on your NED jigs if you switched to floating plastic NED baits (i.e. ElaZtech from ZMAN and SUPER TPE from Crush City)
Fished Folsom on Monday and the bite was very similar to your Comanche trip - saw tons of bait and they only bit drop shot and Ned rig later in the day. Hope the rain keeps coming and the reservoirs fill up for a fantastic spring, summer and fall 😊.
How do you like the helix 9 for running the 360? Thinking about getting that one or a bigger one. Almost blind in one eye so the bigger screen would be nice
Enjoyed the video, but I'm really concerned about what you are wearing for air temp 42F and water temp 52F. Have you done a swim test? You are fishing by yourself on a big lake. What would happen if you capsized? We need to talk more about kayak cold water safety.
@@GregBlanchardFishing bro I watched through hours of videos to find a shot you got close enough to the logo and finally found it. Ordered it 2 days ago 😂
Greg never asks for likes or subs, so I'm going to do it for him. Like and subscribe. GB deserves it.
He has built quite the following. Maybe he did ask when he was at like 100 subs haha. He’s been doing his thing for years. Like a decade. Good stuff
As someone that goes out of my way to not ask either, I really appreciate that Greg provides you don’t have to.
I’ve been with him for years . . . Just an old (68) fart in N.C. that loves to catch a fish . . . and loves watching others do the same. Love it when he goes “home” to the “Finger Lakes”!!!
He totally does
I've been following him for five to 6 yrs now. I've never once, heard him ask for anything. He just enjoys, and cares about sharing his fishing. 💯 😎 🛶
Hands down one of the best fishing channels out there. I learned a lot about bass fishing from this channel. Keep up the great work sir!
New favorite channel on UA-cam by far
Coffee’s brewing in the pot! Good morning from MN, fellas

Nice… you can still see a picture of me with a chunky largie in the collage at the boat ramp register. Guess I’m still cost to cost 😂🎣🤘

yessir! such a peaceful day out on the water
What a better way to do while waiting for my trucks alignment to be done! The smell of new tires, coffee and Greg’s video! It’ll wakey you up! Lol
Hey,I saw an Abu Garcia Revo ad yesterday featuring you on UA-cam.
Greg you make some of the best fishing vids out there. Great work.
thank you!
Always enjoy your fishing 🎣 videos regardless if you catch or not 😊

No skunk so I will take it! Yep, we'll be there and hopefully we won't get too wet on Saturday! haha
That lake is good to use gold color swim bait . With the golden trout they stock it with.. Keep a tight line luck luck to ya 🎣 🎣🎣

Cold morning, Hot Coffee yeah and Greg. I think you did great ,3 fish 5-6 pounds in January Good job man. Thanks for the video bro.

Heck yea.
I love learning from you Greg... even tho im way over here in Georgia !!

In the middle of January the bass will relate totally to the baitfish. Find the bait find the fish.

haha ya never know, bite could turn on or you could find a pile of fish any given day there!
Looked like you were fishing south shore? Do you have a preference?
Glad you are loving the 360. It’s fascinating!

Is the mount for dual graphs going to available to the public soon?

Wish I could teleport to ol sac town. Have fun & thxs
Have you tried bullards bar yet? We caught a lot of fish but they were small. Still had a good time fishing.
Man bro! Great video once again. I wish I could make it out to see you all at the expo. But if you make it out ti Texas hit me up!
I was worried when you said”I brought the scale “..🤪
good job as always 👏👏

Can’t go wrong with throwing a drop shot and a Ned rig when the bite is tough on Comanche.

Hey greg what is that little red thing on your rod where you put your drop shot
Just a few months and we are back in prime bass conditions! Glad you didn't have to do a skunk video at least!
Whats the knot that you're using on your jigs? I see ya use that knot all the time.
Nice work on a great morning
Love the gear videos

Greg do you keep written notes of your fishing outings or do you review the video for past experience? You always seem to know how you did in the past
Greg off topic and maybe you have answered this previously, but what do you do with your older Kayaks? After getting a new one.
Morning GB from LA where lakes here are so infested makes you wanna quit!
Classic camanche
Hey Greg what trailer is that you are using to take your yak to the water?
It's a dynamic dolly. Lots of options on their website depending on the size kayak
Hey Greg! What size line do you use when throwing crank baits?
Glenn is still using this kayak! Figured he would have upgraded by now
Do you plan on adding live to your yak now or are you still gonna wait till the next one
Fished Folsom on Monday and the bite was very similar to your Comanche trip - saw tons of bait and they only bit drop shot and Ned rig later in the day. Hope the rain keeps coming and the reservoirs fill up for a fantastic spring, summer and fall 😊.
oh dang! gonna be interesting fishing it on Sunday!

I think they're perfect size sitting about 4' away. could move them a little closer and it'd be plenty detailed i'd imagine
Chilly? HA! It just warmed up to 20 today and snowing. Pond is frozen now.
let's go fishing! 😁
Getting ready to buy my first pedal drive kayak I’m torn between the titan, 12 or slayer 12 which one would you recommend? I’m 6 foot four 225 pounds.

What tackle box is that? Looks a little deeper than the standard Plano Edge.
not seeing it on TW but its this one - www.purefishing.com/edge-flex-3700-box-1592533
@@GregBlanchardFishingthank u!
Where can I find that kayak trailer you use?
Greg what bump board do you use?
What is that box you used to respool?
I have a question. No matter how I ask it, it's going to sound wrong.. where did you get the knob for ur steering?
Nice dude!😁🤙
Never fails every time you measure or weigh the fish it’s a slow day
