This video helped me shave over a second off from some better lines went fron 54.3 to nearly 52 was 53.064 and I've still got loads to improve on. Thanks for the tips Matt
Excellent video. The only difference we used to try at "Coventry" between myself and another lad who raced Karts was I take it like you whereas he used to flick the steering to upset the rear end. The key is timing it right so the front end is now pointing at the apex without lifting. We both tried each others technique and the results we got were identical so both work. 🤣 Wish I was under 11 stone. Never have been even when I was skinny and at race weight. I'm now substantially more. Nice video though. Very informative for anyone already knows the track but wants to tweak those lap times.
Thanks Andrew, that’s interesting to hear for ‘Coventry’. Definitely something I could try there and test it out too. I’ll also be doing a video shortly which will be around weight and lap times. I’m eager to see how much weight makes a difference!
@@MattWildbore to be fair I’ve slipped into some old bad habits since my PB but turn 3 for sure, middle and Coventry are def areas for improvement so few new things to try now 😄
@@MattWildbore i got 52 seconds on 6 laps today, adjusting 2 specific turns & powering before the apex in certain areas made a massive difference, felt really satisfying applying your tips on the track, thanks bro

Good video pal, not my best lap, shame I don’t have my 51.3 I set when they opened the circuit with Hk100. That’s a far better lap from before I changed a few things.
