- Firstly apologies for not posting the last 5 days. We’ve had internet issues. We took it as a small blessing in disguise and enjoyed some extra family time together; two and four legged. We are all healthy and happy, and sorry to have caused any concern.
This is salon or grooming day. Maxine arrived in her little blue trailer ready to shampoo and spruce our doggies with sweet smelling scents and cute funny bandannas.
We love Maxine. But some of us still don’t much like bath time.
Dad sweetened the day further with a big cook up on the BBQ. All was forgiven with some sizzling sausages and chicken.
With the change in season, we’re experiencing some flare ups in the skin department. The humans have hay fever and the doggies have itchy feet and tummies.
Cruiser the Dingo has been loving pack life. He wants nothing more than to be close to the pack. From sunrise until sunset. We’re making every effort for him to be as much a part of everything as we can. Even in the evening, when the kids have gone to bed, we are trying to encourage him to come inside. We haven’t quite got there yet, but he wants it so bad.
Thank you to you all for always looking out for our family over here in Jilliby. Checking if we’re ok. And of course watching our videos which help us out so very much. Thank you deeply.

There are beautiful photos of Chancey and Neveah posted on their channel. In one, Chancey is snuggled under a cuddly rug with only his eyes and nose visible, and the others are of Chance and Neveah blissfully asleep on Mumma Wilson's bed. I look at these in wonder. They came to the Farm as deeply traumatised dogs. Almost a year later, they left the Farm and joined the Wilson house. Now, they are loved members of a happy home, and they love every minute. The scars on Chancey boy's face are testament to a past life, but now we see a relaxed, contented, loving dog who peers out from under his snuggle rug. Thankyou
Let’s remember to say a little prayer of thanksgiving for Cruiser’s former foster mum. Had she (and family) not done such a great job fostering, Cruiser wouldn’t have ultimately found his way to the Farm; his new home. ❤

Quite right, Tracey. My prayer list is long (I'm not religious, but I pray my own way) but if I've learned anything from The Farm, it's that there's always room for one more 💓The 'Online Pack' is on that list, too.💙

@@MaryLewis-jt5jx Foster mom's daughter told her that 2 dingo pups had been removed from the wild by teenagers and one was at a home tied up with hunting dogs. Mom took the pup and fostered him (Cruiser) while the local shelter tried to find him a home. Sam saw the shelter's post and applied to adopt him.
I’ve never been quiet about my love for Shadow, but goodness, her love of bath time just melts the heart!

A little separation anxiety was beginning to emerge but it’s all good seeing the Evanses back❤. Those coppertone twins are the best therapy for a rainy day.

I get it. I felt like one of those mice they train to press a lever for sugar water. Even when the sugar is gone, they keep pressing the lever. That was me clicking on the Farm link. 😆😆😆
Lisa, I was right there with you! It must be a bit of a blessing and a curse for Sam and Luke, having so many folks around the world truly worry about them when the routine is interrupted. So glad to see the Farm notification on my phone after my pup woke me due to her extreme anxiety of thunderstorms. She crawls on my pillow behind my head and pants on my face while shaking like a leaf (yikes!). But CBD oil helps to calm her nerves, and she is finally resting again... while Mom is wide awake at 3am! Just knowing everything is fine in Jilliby is good enough for me to savour watching spa day with Maxine after catching more Zzzzz! 💚💚💚

I started off in a cafe and had a lovely coffee and raisin toast ❤️ … just took a bit longer than expected so positioned the car where there is good reception. It’s the upload speeds that get us out here with our long videos. The download can be fine, but our upload can say it’ll take 23 hours to upload! When it’s like that, i go to town or to the cow paddock but we were short staffed this week (away with Covid and a possible wrist fracture) so I just waited for it to improve. Coincidentally, Ben was working on The Dodo project and also our Easter video so I don’t think anything was going out on the individual channels either. So I can understand that people got concerned.

Hearing Sam talk about how Till-Till takes a bit of food, drops it on the ground, sniffs it, etc., I breathed a sigh of relief. My dog has been doing that almost his entire life. Even now I say to him, “What. You think I’m trying to poison you?” 🤣🐕❤️

My dog does that too. He sniffs the food and sometimes he drops it. Very picky eater.
I've read that there is a significant percentage of dogs that do this...they don't swallow everything thrown to them indiscriminately. Must pass the 'smell test' first. Must be 'evolutionarily'-driven...just uncommon.

@@TheFarmForDogs I have a very good friend who trains dogs for a living and she always is so crazy busy. I have told her she must carve out time for herself as if it was part of her job. Maybe you could do something like that at the Farm occasionally. You could just let us know you will be off line for a few days. Everyone needs an occasional break. ❤️🐾🇺🇸

Joey looks like she's gnawing on a bone. Abra loves her Dad, Tank, Chopper and of course Rosco really know how to wrestle and have wonderful cuddles. Shadow is such a good girl, she's not really pleased about the bath time but she never complains. The markings on her chest are incredibly stunning. I'd love to get that scrubbing bath, it looks energising for the body😊😊😊😊😊. Bangers and mash, for the uninitiated "sausages and mashed potato" pretty much a staple meal for Aussie families. Miss Red cannot help planting kisses on anyone within licking distance. Brilliant idea Luke!! Put the camera down and use both hands. We've had lovely rain here in Western Australia. All the Gum trees sighed. It's amazing how phones survive being thrown around, good try Luke 🫤🫤🫤. The bandanas are very pretty, Maxine makes the boys and girls smell lovely as well as look great. We should have a guessing competition for how long Shadow will have the bandana on. Oh dear poop everywhere, poor Maxine will pong until she can get home and de-stinkify her van and herself. Cruiser desperately wants to be everyone's friend. It's so funny with the big brave Rosco wanting Dad to reassure him😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫. Next, Hope!!! Those sad looking eyes get me everytime. "I didn't do naughty stuff, why you making me smell like girl" Abra said. "Dad will rescue me"… poor Lily, she really let's Luke know "I'm not happy, you too far away Dad". Oh Luke you tease. She really talks in such an eloquent fashion. What a magic time wrestling with the kids and Tank🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. We almost had a Strip, Luke was losing his clothes😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Hopey must be getting on a bit now. He will still enjoy the open spaces and bush excursions around the hilly places. How does he get on with Rover and Diesel? I did not see him inside but that isn't surprising. Confined spaces with lots of other dogs, a cat and small humans might be a stress for him. As a NZer, I have respect for his
Huntaway bark. He does look more like his Smithfield side. So happy to see him again. Though, with all those challenges with weather and technology, I will be grateful for the glimpses of him here.
