Used a tay rigged kinkuro in May this year on the Tay and was very lucky to hook into 14lb seal marked fresh run springer. Then just 2 weeks ago took another fish on the same lure. Its a great lure.

Hopefully soon, everyone will be using ' NATURAL STONES ' * as fishing weights/sinkers as opposed to LEAD. Especially in sacrificial sinker rigs. ( * Suitable stone, drilled with a swivel/clip resined into a hole)

I'm very very new to fishing.
So excited ti catch something decent. especially a salmon.
The whole permit thing tho and being limited to where you can go tho is kinda annoying.
Just gonna have to bite the bullet tho and pay the £30 a day coz I love it. damn scottish fishing has so many rules lol

Has anybody tried the larger duo spearhead ryuki lures for salmon?
I use them upt to 8cm for the trout and they smash, I got some larger ones to try this year for the salmon.
They are sinking, best cast upstream and worked back along with the flow. I have a feeling these may really score, I hope so.

As a pike angler for 50 years, don't get carried away with your ideas and ego. No offence, just cast the ruddy lure !!
