The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season.
Wayne is a phenomenal police officer who serves the Pocatello community while dealing with stress at home.
Wayne and his wife Taylor have a 4-year-old son named Beckham. At almost 3 months old, Beckham underwent open heart surgery for a full repair after being diagnosed with serious heart conditions. This diagnosis meant other health problems have arisen.
Beckham recently underwent surgery yet again turning his appendix into a catheter to try and give his kidneys a little more time. It's been said that Beckham will more than likely need both kidney and liver transplant within the next four years.
This family works so hard to do everything they can for their son and Wayne works hard to keep the community safe.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to pay Wayne a visit with some early Christmas gifts. Check out the surprise in the video player above!

I love and truly appreciate Nate's tactfulness. When he asked, "How was your son?" and the dad replied, "Good," Nate left it at that. Others might insist on getting the dad to elaborate for more tension and drama, but Nate is respectful and respects boundaries. Well done, Nate, and Secret Santa! Merry Christmas to all. This hits home. My son was born with heart problems. He had a few surgeries and procedures along with open heart surgery as an infant. At the age of 10 ... I will just say ... he has had three more surgeries and...well without going into more of his personal story... He has been through A Lot. If I can give encouragement to this father...my son is over 30 yrs. old and I Praise God and Continue to Pray for healing... God is Faithful and Good!!

Secret Santa scored a bullseye with this man’s gifts. My granddaughter was on death’s door and received a kidney liver transplant at 17 with numerous surgeries prior to that. It is so hard to endure and I’m the grandmother. Bless you officer with guardian angels to keep you safe, and protect you from harm.

@@alexandersupertramp7353 I became homeless when my Dad was murdered in 2015. People become homeless for many reasons. I came South to warmer weather and am "housed" - people are way nicer down here than up north and there's lots of opportunities in this area, it's building up like mad and I thought I'd offer a temporary place to stay if he's able to get here. There are more jobs here and they're building homes of all sizes Everywhere.
