Omg there are 31 days till the first maths Higher gcse paper and in doing it 2 years EARLY so this is so overwhelming and I'm watching your old gsce revision videos right now! Edinburgh has always been my No.1 option for uni even though i still have many years to go because I've been to scotland twice and FELL IN LOVE with the place , SO FREAKING PRETTY!

This video looks really useful I want to go to an open day this year for art history at edinburgh but I’m not sure which day I should go on because ECA has a specific open day for their stuff as well as the separate normal uni wide open days. I'm interested in studying history alongside art history so the uni wide open day might make more sense but idk if i’d miss out on ECA stuff. Any advice is really appreciated!

Okay this is probably just bc of where I come from, but one of the MAIN reasons I want to get into edi if BC of the rainy weather, bc rain where I’m from is so rare you get a public holiday when it does actually rain-
I got accepted for a PhD in Politics this year but I’m having a hard time with funding. I hope I’m able to secure some. Do you have any suggestions Emma? Also how is Deaconess House as an accommodation?
I really want to apply there to study history. But I have to apply with predicted grades and I'm in IB so my grades so far haven't mattered. My grades are good but I just know that the final results will be much better and that is stopping me from applying. Also, I'm not from the UK and tuition fees for international students are INSANE. I also looked at Sciences Po in France and I'm leaning towards it (mainly because it's cheaper and I'm not willing to pay three times more than in my home country).

Finding accommodation in Edinburgh is insane.
I remember having to move to new accommodation between two exams. Horrible.
And flats / rooms can disappear from the market within a matter of hours. If you don't at least pay the holding deposit immediately, someone else takes it.
By the way, I saw you were having blueberries in another video. Did you feel annoyed by people asking you if you were making blueberry muffins? I found that question annoying - I was asked the same thing repeatedly. (No, I was not making blueberry muffins. I just like having raw blueberries so I would buy loads.)
I'll just have the blueberries; they can keep their muffins.
The best place i.m.o. is Arthur Seat. I climbed it countless times. Absolutely amazing any time of the day. If you go at night, never go alone and go with people you know really well.

@@london8701 I do maths, economics, politics. I applied to Oxford, LSE, Edinburgh, Bath, Bristol. Got rejected from Oxford so was left with the others. Chose Edinburgh because it’s an amazing city I’ve been many times. Secondly it’s highly regarded no22 in the QS international rankings leagues above Durham and the likes and has an international brand

your pacing when you talk is good. but its allot of information at once. it would be easier to consume if you break the video up a bit by making a coffee or goint to that favourite spot of yours. but you can also become the next 10min slim shady.
