      you were not supposed to notice that, but yes. I have now broken 5 rods in the time I have used ACC which is about 4 years. 2 were eaten by my trolling motor, got a little to close and it caught my line, 1 I held to high up in 23 degree temps and caught Moby Dick, backed one into the storage building wall and this one. This is the first I have broken just fishing. Not sure what happened other than they bounce around in my boat while going everywhere, even on the trailer and it just broke. Still was fun! ha ha

    Awesome video Chris. You got to love the spawn brother. Here in Missouri we still have a few weeks before it starts but I'm ready.

      I do, but my favorite time is coming up and getting close. I love the post spawn. The fish are all over the lake and no matter where you look for them, they are there. Start looking, I bet it starts earlier than you think!!! Look in that staging area, 10-15 foot next to a creek.

    Too much fun out there. There's a guy here in Houston that say you can't hunt single fish with a transducer pole...lmao

      Thank you. Honestly not sure which version it is. I know it was updated on accident about 3 weeks ago. I ended up having to reupdate using the card because I was having problems right during the tournament that I did 2 weeks ago. I update by phone on accident, but could not stop it.

    Good times! So now that you've had the Sniper Pole awhile, what do you not like about it? Lastly, is the carbon fiber extension 14" - 42" a must; it seems it is? Thanks for the help as I am really looking hard at one of these. Currently my LVS-34 is on the side using a See-Lite pole.

    • @AsleepAtTheReel
      @AsleepAtTheReel  3 місяці тому +1

      I really do like it. Honestly I am still getting used to it being on the other side, I used to have it on the right side of the boat but other than that I love it. I do not think the extension is a must but I think they said that is going to come standard now, not 100% sure. The pole that I have for the second unit is the new pole that extends, the one on my trolling motor is the one that is set, just add a 1 ft extension. I like the new pole because it will allow you to adjust to any size you need verses a set length. With the original pole it was set and without purchasing the extension I would have hardly been in the water. All in all, I think this is probably the best pole I have used. I love the Beatdown outdoors pole, but the ability to turn the handle all the way around is a huge plus. I find myself using the tip (call it motorcycle grip that turns left and right) way more than I do simply moving the entire pole left and right. There is a learning curve in finding where you are needing to cast when it is all the way left or right, but the ability to do it and not have to swing your handle over the water stretching when looking for your next target is HUGE!!! Feel free to ask more questions! Oh, if you do, please make another post as I for some reason do not see replies, just new post.

    Which version of the Bubba scale do you use, the $200 version? Thanks

      I am now. I used the other before that cost just over $100, that is the one that I lost. This one is a LOT MORE USER FRIENDLY. I really like this one, the other was ok, but was not impressed.
