The gap between the threads and the shaft, that you point out, is to accommodate the little o-rings that are used as washers. Stops the shaft from loosening somewhat! Thanks for all your reviews 👍
Thanks! I dont know if that was the reason for the gap, the flights stay on without an O-ring anyway. As I mentioned I think the only reason Condor added it to the AXE system was to prevent the breaking when it hit the floor, it seemed to work though :)
My guess is that if the thread goes all the way to the natural breaking point, there is no material that can expand when the flight hits the ground sideways. The small gap allows for a small amount of stretch in the direction of the barrel axis, which is obviously enough to keep the shaft from breaking.
As per the comments, all these moulded flights are great, because the allow a person to have massive variety; I personally love the K-Flex and Condors and can use the interchangeably.
Stomping on them was a little bit over the top but l don't see any durability problems with them at all . l do like the small K Flx stem but l would definitely buy the Force 90's in the No6 flight and use them as they look excellent value for money Nice test
As I wont be able to play enough with a dodgy elbow I think a good stomp was a good substitute lol I bet someone will still drop them on a carpet and say they broke though lol :)
@@DartsReviewChannel You can bank on that. Seen another review and the flight to shaft moulding was also picked up on but the tester stated he thought this would be rectified on the next batch we will have to see.
What I can tell at first glance is that the angle at the tip of the flight is unusually acute, I estimate 70°. I have so far included 12 different large standard flight shapes in the VAX system - but none of them are anywhere near as acute at the top.
Excellent review Darren. You certainly weren’t holding back with the attempted destruction test. I’ve ordered a couple of sets so I’ll see how the go when they get here. Hope the elbow improves soon for you 👍🏻🎯
Nice review as always, from all the recent makes I’ve tried over the past few months I personally prefer the fusion as they seem to fly the best for me 🤷🏼♂️
Love it just Love it. You have a new nick name now. Darren "The Stomper" Watson. Looking forward to seeing other tests on flights will you be doing it to walk on music? You are absolutely brilliant mate.
So many now….. down to personal choice ,shape and colour…….. nice they undercut target after their k flex price rise which the pricing of these shows that was just a profit margin increase
I currently have a set of force 90s, fusions and zero stress. I prefer the fusions. They seem to be the most consistent in terms of flight and landing in board.
@@DartsReviewChannel i used to use winmau furys and i did notice a few chips/nicks where the front of barrel was catching them. But now i use gabriel clemens gen 1s with the nano point and theyve not taken any further damage since. I play a couple of hours a day too.
Hi guys, thanks for the review. Does anyone know what the "shaft lengths" of the short and medium sizes? This video just shares the tweenie length (28mm). much appreciated. It seems every manufacturer is creating their own lengths.
I have already tried various systems. condor zero and axe. the target k flex and the bulls union. Still, I have the feeling that normal shaft and flights fly to the board more easily. what are your experiences with this? because I always return to the normal flight and shafts
Darren I noticed you said you didn't really have time to test these so tell you what , how about you send them to me and I will throw them for a couple of weeks and let you know how I get on? And while you're at it why don't you throw in your target 975 darts, I will test them as well,, just trying to help 😅
I've had darts go in close to each other and that action made the traditional flight pop off on one dart. I wonder if it would have been a bounce out with one of these instead?
Hello, I just started Dart and I've been trying to play with my own efforts for about 4 months, I want to buy a good set and I like the MGV Exact and Aspire series. But I'm undecided about the weight, there are those who tell me to take a light 21g 22g. For those who say 23G would be more standard. What do you recommend the set 24G that I am currently using? I've been trying to experience it for a few months already. I used 24*25*26 darts and also had the chance to experience 23g. But the darts I use are more torpedo shaped. I didn't have the chance to try straight darts. I work alone and mostly watch pro players on the internet and try to create an ideal shot and grip for myself. But people around me think that trying so much weight will ruin the shot. And they think it would be beneficial to stay at a constant weight. I also tried the light dart sets of the people where I play, 22g seemed comfortable to me, 23g was comfortable. I want to have a good set or two. I liked MGV's Exact and Aspire darts and the grip felt nice to me. I didn't know if I should take 21.5g or 23g. I thought about buying the aspirated one in 22g. I need professional opinion. After all, it is not a cheap set that I will buy for my economic conditions
I started with all kinds of weights and shapes, I settled on 27g for a while, then 25g, then 24g and then stayed mostly on 23g ever since. Usually a heavier dart is more forgiving in flight but the thing is you need to start somewhere so why not start somewhere around the middle then you can go lighter or heavier as you feel the need. So 25g or 24g should be fine.
LOL the Stomp is new but I have thrown some on the floor before but usually after I have had some time testing them normally, which I cant do much of with my dodgy elbow :)
Hey Darren! Have you got a set of Mission darts to try them with? I simply can’t screw them properly into Mission Fittons or Nightfalls - but I can screw them into Red Dragons or Harrows. What do you think? Is this a fault?
I dont think they have the best moulding, I tried a set in 3 different sets of Mission darts just now, 2 sets were ok and the the third set it took me a few goes before I could get it to screw in right.
@@DartsReviewChannel- thanks for that Darren. I eventually put mine into a set of unicorns and left them for a few hours- then they screwed slightly reluctantly into my Mission Fittons. Annoying though!
@@adrianunderwood961 yeah they seem to be a bit different on the thread, not sure if its the way it starts or if its too thick or something, bit weird.
Darren are you going to make it thru the PL in Dublin. You've got to be in dart shirt heaven tonight! Longterm durability will be based on barrel profiles/styles. Curious what bounce out statistics are for the various flt/stem setups.
That will survive earthquakes, nuclear war, Whitlock points and possibly delivery by Evri.

Better match weighting than Condor AXE 😂
