Lacey is a brave warrior princess. I'm dying to go to a show! To me, her voice is pure magic. She's full of passion and in her own way she's declaring victory over struggles she sees herself or the people around her struggling with. She's screaming her battle cry and she knows she's victorious in God. I never tire of her screams. She screams what I myself can't. Lacey you are amazing. ❤️
That testimony hit me so hard, I'm struggling so much, I just need to keep on keepin on. I'm getting closer to the lighter side of life. I'll get there... Maybe not today or next month or however long... But I'll get there. I have hope!
When I first clicked on this video I had no idea how much I needed to hear it. It reminded me of 5hings I have always known but sometimes forgot. God is good and he loves us even though he dosnt have to. Our souls are important to him.

For those of you who are curious about the different nature of her screaming, it's actually not because of her voice being damaged and her trying to do as she did before. Actually, she explains in an older video that there are two types of screaming. Full voice (her classic, taxing one), and a certain method where she can mimic the sound without hurting herself, relying more on the microphone than her voice.
Because she was hurting herself after doing the full voice scream too much too often, she's reverted to this one, which sounds different, but honestly makes it a fresh take on her older pieces. Hope this helps :3 the video is her video on "questions about screaming"

As time goes by, it's really normal that a singer's voice changes or deteriorates. She can't scream the way she used to, but I still respect her and love her voice. It's just like Chester of LP and so on. I love her songs and her hairstyles. :D. I remember now, that she's the reason for my crazy hairdos in college days. I love you and God bless Lacey!

I'm confused about why she left Flyleaf if she's going to continue to sing Flyleaf songs.
+IanHoopz she probably didn't want to spend so much time on the road and instead wanted to focus on her family. she said in her book, talking about how their sound engineer died, that people don't live forever, and so she didn't want to miss out on anything.
She wrote those songs that she sang in flyleaf when she was In that band and I'm glad she still sings them even tho her voice don't sound the same but she's brilliant!!

It's probably because its live and she jumping around and out of breath, I bet when the album drops the screams are going to be great.
xRescueMe I think the screams are good when you take into account the vocal damage that happened in 08-09. She had to modify her scream and for better or worse, it's not as powerful and is more shril. Did you have a problem with all of her screams? The worse one's to me were I'm So Sick and Living the Impossible.
Sarah Bailey I think the fact she doesn't get embarrassed if she messes up makes her that much more amazing, but the first one was definitely not the best, but her singing was amazing, and her message as always:)
