- This film is dedicatad to indian vocal and percussion master Madhu Sudan, who is following the old bengali tradition of Bauls. He is the freedom singer, who can easily enter the doors of any house and any human heart. He inspired us to visit state of Bengal and join the culture of local people. Gratitude for those, who shared that time with us. Jai, Guru!

I was surprised when I came across a treasure trove of Baul history while following the music from Bangla folk/rock bands, of all things. They're popularizing it in their own way. Some are very traditional, others are more modern/fusion. Either way, every song they pay tribute to gives today's generation a chance to study the origins of these songs. I also think it's a great way to share the history, especially for world-music fans and lifelong learners such as myself.
