I'm church of God and you hit it right on the head. It use to not be like that but they have got to much in the world. Both my parents were ordained ministers in the church of God. If I go to a church and don’t feel the Holy Spirit then I’m going to another church. Call me what you want. But if I don’t feel that a preacher is preaching the word of God with conviction then I’m outta there. Or if a preacher is preaching from the New International Version (NIV) Bible, I AM OUT. How long are we to remain loyal when our church shuns us? In 2014 I became too crippled to attend church, but kept tithing. Not once in seven years has my church tried to contact me, but they cashed my tithe checks every month, over $60,000 by now. I tried recently to contact them (snail mail since pastor has an unlisted number and church office hours are limited) and three months later, still no response. Maybe they will respond when my tithe checks stop, and I'll be faulted for flaking out. But sometimes our church leaves us, rather than vice versa,

Not everyone is given the gifts of tongues. We are all given certain gifts from God. I’m thankful that He gave me the gift of tongues but know many spirit filled sisters who have other gifts and do not have the gifts of tongues.

I have been baptized in the Holy Spirit since 2018 and i do not speak in tongues. Susan Mark not ALL people that have the Holy Spirit can speak in tongues. I've never spoke a syllable of it and wouldn't try to force it because to me that's mockery and it should NEVER be forced if it's true tongues it will flow freely without help and I have gifts just not that one. The Lord gives each person their own unique gift mine is different from yours and someone else's gift is different than mine and yours, that's just the way it is and someone who doesn't speaks in tongues can go to heaven just as quick as someone who can.

So it's a mystery, (ABOUT), Babylon The Great, (Who Is) The Mother of Harlots (And) the abominations of the earth. Therefore a place named "Mystery Babylon" doesn't exist.

The TeNaKh is the Jewish Bible. TeNaKh is an acronym for the 3 parts of their Hebrew Bible Te = Torah. Law Na = Nabim. Prophets Kh = Kethubim Writings The same divisions given in Luke 24:44 when Jesus opened their understanding to the scriptures after his resurrection, Moses, the prophets and the psalms. This is the inspired Hebrew Scriptures. What Perry Stone is referring to is the “oral teachings or rabbinic commentary” on the TeNaKh called the Talmud which is not given by divine inspiration and is not Gods word but a rabbinic commentary. The references are 42:7b in the Babylonian Talmud and in Ruth Rabbah.

I go to a full gospel church and have visited upcs and their oneness in Jesus name only is a doctrine of their church. They are also legalistic and speak against anyone not like them. Doesn't sound like the body. I pray in the spirit, believe in gifts and receiving the holy spirit like them, but they stayed after me about being rebaptized. If people aren't careful they'll worship their doctrines more than they love

Wow that is a beautiful thought! Never heard that about Ruth’s skirt and I’ve been in Ruth studies. There is no real church here outside Chicago ... it is a desert as pastors listened to the government and closed the churches to God. Now, if they open to a normal worshiping, God-first loving church, who will want to be in a sold-out government on-the-take church!

First time I heard you preach in the 1980’s at Pace Assemblies of God in Pace Florida.
If I go to a church and don’t feel the Holy Spirit then I’m going to another church. Call me what you want. But if I don’t feel that a preacher is preaching the word of God with conviction then I’m outta there. Or if a preacher is preaching from the New International Version (NIV) Bible, I AM OUT. Preach the true word of God and you won’t have people leaving your church. AMEN. I like a preacher. I don’t want a talker, or a teacher. I want that old timey preaching. I want to feel it or I’ll stay home and watch John Hagee
How long are we to remain loyal when our church shuns us? In 2014 I became too crippled to attend church, but kept tithing. Not once in seven years has my church tried to contact me, but they cashed my tithe checks every month, over $60,000 by now. I tried recently to contact them (snail mail since pastor has an unlisted number and church office hours are limited) and three months later, still no response. Maybe they will respond when my tithe checks stop, and I'll be faulted for flaking out. But sometimes our church leaves us, rather than vice versa,

Not everyone is given the gifts of tongues. We are all given certain gifts from God. I’m thankful that He gave me the gift of tongues but know many spirit filled sisters who have other gifts and do not have the gifts of tongues.

I have been baptized in the Holy Spirit since 2018 and i do not speak in tongues. Susan Mark not ALL people that have the Holy Spirit can speak in tongues. I've never spoke a syllable of it and wouldn't try to force it because to me that's mockery and it should NEVER be forced if it's true tongues it will flow freely without help and I have gifts just not that one. The Lord gives each person their own unique gift mine is different from yours and someone else's gift is different than mine and yours, that's just the way it is and someone who doesn't speaks in tongues can go to heaven just as quick as someone who can.

That statement is a punctuation error, The actual statement from Revelation 17, Verse 5: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. The actual Reading is "MYSTERY" (comma) "BABYLON THE GREAT" (Comma) THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. So it's a mystery, (ABOUT), Babylon The Great, (Who Is) The Mother of Harlots (And) the abominations of the earth. Therefore a place named "Mystery Babylon" doesn't exist.
They say that when they have a lot of young kids the church will grow, but this is not true, the way to get your church to grow get out there and Evangilize your area and win new souls. When they go from church to church the churches never grow.

If you are not comfortable with a few references to rabbinical literature, seeing that Jesus was a Rabbi and was Jewish, and taught in synagogues....this is not the channel for you.

TeNaKh is an acronym for the 3 parts of their Hebrew Bible
Te = Torah. Law
Na = Nabim. Prophets
Kh = Kethubim Writings
The same divisions given in Luke 24:44 when Jesus opened their understanding to the scriptures after his resurrection, Moses, the prophets and the psalms.
This is the inspired Hebrew Scriptures. What Perry Stone is referring to is the “oral teachings or rabbinic commentary” on the TeNaKh called the Talmud which
is not given by divine inspiration and is not Gods word but a rabbinic commentary.
The references are 42:7b in the Babylonian Talmud and in Ruth Rabbah.

I go to a full gospel church and have visited upcs and their oneness in Jesus name only is a doctrine of their church. They are also legalistic and speak against anyone not like them. Doesn't sound like the body. I pray in the spirit, believe in gifts and receiving the holy spirit like them, but they stayed after me about being rebaptized. If people aren't careful they'll worship their doctrines more than they love
