Wow, that sucks! I ordered a Dual 1019 off ebay for $70~ and it arrived the same way except the plinth shattered into 5 pieces. I couldn't return it because of the deal I got and just glued everything back, now it looks fine. Without ebay, where do you source your turntables?
Tell me about it; I've had two Pioneer tape decks destroyed when shipped by eBayers who were clueless about shipping heavy items. Without the factory original box, there's little chance of success.
Welcome to my world! I've started providing shipping instructions and recording the unboxing of it, that has given me some success on getting proper refunds.
I really enjoy your video's!
Thanks for watching!
I used to owna PL-A25. It was a good turntable
I've found them easy to sort out and they are fairly reliable.

eBay is marginally better than ShopGoodwill...which is sad...

My experience as well...it's a fingers crossed situation with every order.
I've done the same, with photos to instruct sellers how to ship with a warning, but they seldom follow the directions :)
