One of the things I loved about Hideyuki Fukasawa's take on the Fate/stay night soundtrack was that he gave everyone a theme. Saber's theme is every bit as majestic and also tragic as the character herself is, and hearing it in this gorgeous piano melody is just icing on the cake. I know Yuki Kajiura is coming back for the Heaven's Feel trilogy but I hope she keeps at least some of the central themes intact from UBW.
Hideyuki Fukasawa's biggest hit with Type-Moon works (because this is also seen on Mahōtsukai no Yoru) is capturing a two distinct feels: the mistery behind magic, and the sorrow behind a nostalgic past. All this while respecting the original songs a lot (as seen in UBW2014, and the Type Moon Reproduction CDs) while also not feeling repetitive as f*ck as Yuki Kajiura. Honestly, I hope he pops off on the second Camelot movie (Movie 1 already left some very good tunes, specially Arash's NP one), but I certainly want him and the MONACA guys to keep doing Type-Moon work. It's a breath of fresh air really.
@@colinmcbottle Kaijura's soundtrack is so repetitive with it's choirs and her EMIYA mix isn't evne a full mix of the song. I hope Fukusawa knocks it out of the park with Tsukihime's remake. And holy crap, the MONACA founded by Keiichi Okabe?
@@snakebot4986 Yeah, although they aren't involved in these pair of camelot movies. They were involved in the EXTRA/EXTELLA/Last Encore side of things (Last Encore has particularly some very good tracks IMO)
@@colinmcbottle Wait did he do Camelot 1 and 2? Also since the movie itself is out what did you think of Camelot 2 soundtrack? (I know the actual soundtrack isn't out but you get what I mean haha
because all the themes of Saber or related to it are so tragic but very beautiful and Epic/Badass,majestic as if deep down you could find hope when there is nothing and absolutely nothing in the world. Saber deserves to be happy seriously.
