Am I deaf or is the volume really low?
True that, but one positive is that you get the full dynamic range for the tracks played. Just crank it! :) That's what the volume is for.
@@NenJiDaPassiv I doubt that's true. I'm sure all his mix is mastered like normal (that is to say pretty strongly limited as all modern music is). Just the video volume is low. Modern limiting has a pretty good dynamic quality to it anyway. It's not like the early 2000's where everything sounds smashed to hell. Pro-L limiter is pretty amazing. Loudest and somehow most dynamic limiter on the market.

Dj mag needs to get their levels up was a bit low on the volume side of things 😅
This is a great set and selection. He phrasing correctly (for the most part) and he mixing in tracks together for long periods of time and they sound pretty good together. Playlist is fucking stupid good and honestly, it dont need to sound like Nightbass to be considered BassHouse. A majority if these tracks have Heavy Meaty Basslines.
Pretty good considering he's not really house dj for the most part too.

It's certainly house. I hear some Tech Funk, Tech House, Bass House, Electro House and Future House. It really doesn't matter what it's called. I would have said house set just so people know it's not his normal fare.

I could dj these tracks, without headphones. These tracks are very basic.
He is definitely using sync. Which is the equivalent to having autotune built in the microphone.
I have long said, if you can count to 4, you can DJ. That's all this is.

Modern DJing has a lot of immediate functionality that wouldn't be possible with cds or records. Using sync just means that so much more time can be spent on the product, which for many will be the most important thing. To deliver such a varied and complex set any other way would be somewhat more difficult. Carl Cox did a pretty good job of 4 X CDJs but these days he mostly uses traktor. Lots are going that way.
