Baja - Magdalena Bay 2020

Mingling with the California Gray Whales as they reach destinations of their Southern migration coming all the way from the Russian Arctic. They converge here in Pacific Baja to mate and tend for their young. A number of these whales are coined "friendly whales" and exhibit the almost unbelievable behavior of seemingly enjoying interactions with guests on the Mexican pangas (fishing boats). This was an intense window of mind-blowing connection not only with these cetacean ambassadors but also with the raw and pristine desert environment.
