Dude what an awesome surprise. That old woodie was my first ever roller coaster haha, followed by Hersheypark being my first genuine amusement park. What a blast to the past, this actually made my night lol

That purple and blue color scheme on Kingdom Coaster really does make it look special. Amazing views from the sky ride.
This is the park I got over my fear of coasters at. I really hope I can revisit it as an enthusiast at some point and see how the coasters hold up now.

Wish S&S had built some more and maybe evolved the model.
This is way better taken care of than my home park Idlewild, another children’s park also owned by Parques Reunidos.
Also good thing you rode Joust in the front. Getting a back row ride was…less than pleasant…

I stumbled upon this park when driving from Hershey to New Jersey for great adventure
I think that Invert is the first coaster I ever marathoned
For me, it was the wooden coaster. I live 20 minutes from this place.
Merlin’s Curse looks like a great family coaster.

Last time I went there when I was 7 it’s been 6 years sence I’ve been there I have a lot of good memories from there I wish I was able to go there at least one more time I miss being there.

I was here about 4 years ago. One of my favorite theme parks I am going to ne completely honest.
Ive honestly never heard of this place and when I started the video I thought it was going to be a vlog from your trip to Europe
I'm a PA native, Knoebels being my hometown park. I've only been to Dutch Wonderland once, when I was maybe 8? Anyway, I remember going, but nothing stuck out as fantastic. I'm so used to going to Knoebels that I tend to base all family parks on there. Soooo... not very impressive to me. But, could be a great park to ease your kiddos into coasters.
S&S and Vekoma are owned by the same company, even back then I think, so it simply could've been a similar case to Steel Curtain where they went to Vekoma but Vekoma was busy or Sansei stepped in to block it so they were stuck with S&S
This review video was really nice. The two, star coasters were looking great. I legit wanted to go and ride it asap. I am a huge fan of this old show on TLC Channel called Amish Mafia which took place in this city. This video just upped Lancaster on my list of cities to visit in the US.
Lancaster went from #49 to #37, in between San Francisco and Oakland (yeah, I know they are connected, but I kinda feel that one of them two is fine enough) lol

Kingdom Coaster used to be called Sky Princess. That's a much cooler name if you ask me!

I went here for vacation before visiting Hershey!
It’s next to the Cartoon Network hotel so that’s where I stayed

@@CoasterDash it was pretty good but the pool had a mini slide that my sister (7 and like 50 inches) couldn’t go on for some reason and it made her salty for the rest of the trip until we went to Hershey and there was no room service. the decorations were nice and the activities they had on site were fun

Hey there! I’m not good with tips, but i’ll state the basics. If you want to ride Superman and Green Lantern, do those right away. they always have long waits, even on quieter days. If you see Kingda Ka running, ride it as soon as possible. El Toro is a back row ride, but ride in the middle of the back car on a non-wheel seat for a smoother experience. If you need a locker (this park is very strict with lose articles), buy the multi-use locker. you’ll end up saving a lot of money. Have fun!
Here in Pennsylvania btw we call it lankister instead of lancaster anyway my mom's first job was a ride op at dutch wonderland back in the late 80s its such a nice and historic park

In all seriousness, I came to Pennsylvania to visit a friend this time and Hersheypark wasn’t on the agenda originally. But how could I fly into an airport 15 minutes away and pass up a visit 😆

It's a nice theme park, I like it.
But I don't understand the name Dutch Wonderland...It has no Dutch theming or specific rides.
There’s a little hint of it, but no in depth theming which I think was a missed opportunity

It’s in an area where people named the Pennsylvania Dutch live. These are actually Pennsylvania Deutsch because they are German immigrants but the name got more Americanized over time. Some of these Pennsylvania Dutch are Amish which explains the horse buggy. Hope this clears things up even though I’m late to your comment.
