As an art student, looking at your sketches and looking at the way you sketch has helped me with my sketching so much over the years. Especially watching you use copic markers has helped me with using markers a lot. Thank you for everything and keep it up!
Thanks very much. I appreciate your support and I'm pleased I can help a bit.
I really love your stuff. I’m 19 and still trying to develop my design skills and your videos are really helpful for me. Looking forward to what you do next!
Much appreciated, thank you!
I use your channel so often at work to help my own students. You are a true inspiration! Thanks so much
Super to hear, thank you. I'm really pleased to be able to help!
I like watching you sketch. Your not pretentious and the smooth music helps me and my student relax and just let the sketches flow. Great work. I don’t know how many pringles I have now done but it’s a few. Love the early ideation videos. Use them all the time do more of those they are inspiring! Love your channel and work thanks!
Thank you - I value your time in responding. Great to hear that my videos are helping your students too. There will be plenty more on the way.
Got a lot af tips and tricks from your videos! Started to sketch more using only 1 pen or pencile
That's great to hear, thank you!
As a D&T teacher myself, I use your videos as part of my teaching so please continue to make excellent tutorials!
Awesome to hear, thank you. Really pleased that I can help.
I've been inspired by your sketches. But it's the first time I'm watching your face on the video. Happy to see you. Thanks for inspiring me through your skills and guidance.

You've honestly helped me improve my sketches so much
This is great to hear, thank you.
I love your sketches😇
Big Fan of your artworks!!
Thank you!!!
Fan of your work!
Individual sketches apart, would like to see you work on a project. Like maybe step by step process of designing a simple product. The sketch page assembly, the sequence and explorations. Could be a part of a series of 2/3 videos or something.
Thank you, and thank you for the great suggestion, too. I appreciate your time and support.
Your videos are truly inspiring. Keep up the excellent work!
I really appreciate it, thank you.
It's great how your work process looks so easy. Beautiful work, always.
Thank you! It's one of the toughest things to battle because people assume I've always been confident at sketching - not true. I've had to figure it out for the most part (and there's so much more to figure, too) and now I just want to use my knowledge to help others figure it our - more quickly than I did!
You got me into industrial design and I’m now considering it as my course through uni
Super to hear!! Really value your feedback, thank you!
Thank you for all of the information and knowledge you are giving away to us!
My pleasure - thank you for being involved!
Your videos helped me to learn see things in 3d. I ❤ all of them

It's awesome to hear that you've been a part of my journey. What a great DT teacher you must have had! :)
I just like your work. It helps me out

As a student of design, I just wanted to express my gratitude for the amazing content you share on your UA-cam channel. Your videos have been an incredible resource for me as I learn about the world of product design and strive to improve my skills.
Your passion for design shines through in every video, and your ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise way has been incredibly helpful. I appreciate how you break down your design process step by step, and your willingness to share your experiences and insights with your viewers.
Watching your videos has been a real inspiration to me, and I feel like I am learning from one of the best in the field. Your attention to detail, creativity, and innovative approach to design are truly impressive.
Thank you for taking the time to create such high-quality content and for sharing your expertise with aspiring designers like myself. Your impact on the world of design is truly remarkable, and I can't wait to see where your talents take you next.
Please don't underestimate just how much of an impact this comment has made on me. Thank you. It's never difficult to find the inspiration to create content, but it always difficult to make the time and find the energy. Your kind words will certainly help with that! It's much appreciated!
You're flying out of the stadium man 🚀🚀 great work keep it up

It's great to be a small part of your journey!!
Great tip! I’ll have to try this.
Hope it works for you! :)
Filled! Thanks for all your great content!
Thank you very much!
Hi, thanks for the awesome tip. I’m doing A-Level Design and Tech and I’m about to start designing after my exams are over. You’re videos are full of brilliant tips and employing the skills that you have helped me to develop I feel like my sketches are slowly improving: allowing me to communicate my ideas more clearly and effectively. A cool video idea, perhaps, would be over the summer to get viewers to submit their sketches / design ideas and for you to critique them?
Thank you. That's a great idea for a video too. Watch this space!
Fantastic sketching as always Chris
Appreciated - thank you.
Your sketching style and instagram page has been my number one inspiration during my three years of studying design as a mature student and has taught me everything I know so far, I’m trying to build the confidence to post sketches to my new design account but I’m finding it difficult to not judge my work harshly, watching your videos is giving me the boost I so very much need and for that I thank you! Keep inspiring!! Jake
Thank you Jake. I find it helps to carefully consider the criteria for judging work. A little secret - I judge my work by its ability to communicate (can my client read my ideas and thoughts?) and that's it - full stop! When it can get my thoughts across, it's a success. I'm a designer, not an artist, so why would I judge my work by the same criteria? The pay-off is that over time, without the pressure to produce artwork, our work becomes more and more assured. Hope that helps.
Thanks a lot for the reply and for taking the time to share your thoughts! It means a lot! That’s a great way to approach it, I’ll heed that advice! All the best, Jake
I'm not a product designer myself, rather somebody who enjoys to draw and is fairly curious regarding diferent approaches to draw and communicate ideas. Most of your content helped me understand that, the importance of repetition and how earning confidence without expecting perfection is liberating. Definetely a game changer, keep the great content going!
Super to hear there's a broader appeal for my content. Thank you for joining in.
@@productdesignermaker Absolutely, it's quite helpful to a broader number of subjects: it enriches the learning process and provides another tool to a visual problem.
Very helpful content! Keep up the good work!
Thank you. Will do!
I aspire to become a product designer and for that purpose, this channel is one of the best to start sketching and progress further
Thank you 🙏
Love this, thank you very much!!
Thanks for the help
My pleasure!
Thanks product designer you’ve helped me so much with designing in school. But I’ve got a question is product design engineering a good option for a degree.
My pleasure. It's a great option, yes - BUT... have a thorough look at ALL your options. Make sure you get as much info from the University websites as you can, to determine which strand of the subject area really resonates for you. Try and find out what jobs graduates typically go on and get. Check out any course materials you can find and look at the specifications each course follows. Do your research, but yes, a great option.
Thanks for sharing your sketching journey
Thanks for joining me for the ride!
I am a fresh grad in industrial design but I am still have more to learn to be honest, your contents helps me a lot as a designer
Super to hear!!
When the original Star Wars was released in cinemas I got hooked on industrial design after becoming addicted to all the design sketches behind that movie's development.
I began sketching myself, but when it came time to get a job all that was quickly forgotten, unfortunately.
I'm now 55 years old and sketching again for the first time in almost 40 years! Thanks to your incredibly easy-to-follow and very clear instruction. Thank you.
I'm desperate to get involved with the online course you've previously mentioned. Any idea when it might be available?
This is inspirational to hear; I'm honoured to have played a small part. I'm making good progress with my first two courses, but they're focused on mastering the basics that will provide the skills and confidence to unlock future courses, so they might not be what you're looking for. More details soon. Thank you.
@@productdesignermaker I still very much need to get to better grips with the basics. I'm not aiming to be a professional, I simply want to learn. Furniture design is my main goal right now. That's why I'm hoping to improve my sketching ability.
I'll still be sure to check out your courses. Hopefully, they will be of interest to me.
Best of luck with it all.
Thank you!
Thank you!!
I’m not quite sure, but as an art student, I sometimes lack confidence and creativity. I feel like my mind is inside a total square and can’t get free as an artist would be. Therefore, even though your sketches are briefly composed and it is always done on square papers, it depicted in order to be an artist you don't necessarily need to behave complete and freestyle! ❤
Thank you for joining me for the journey!
so nice sketching
Thank you!
Hi, I'm glad to found your channel amazing for me because it first for practice to come university. It hard but everything is good if i practice. Thank you for you Channel
I'm pleased you found it too!!
I'm not qualified to give tips but when I want to come up with ideas, I start with a scribble across the page! That way I don't care about making something flawless :)
Nice idea. I used to hold the paper really carefully, to avoid any marks - now I screw it up a bit to lessen the pressure!
Awesome video, thank you so much
Glad you liked it! Thank you
Thank you
Thank you too!
iam a product designer ( student) 😂 and ur videos really helped me to improve my sketching
Brill, great to hear!!
is there any update regarding your design course??? i have seen one of your comment that you are planning to do that....
Hi thanks for asking. I’m putting the finishing touches to course #1 - it’s aimed at getting the basics right and will provide the confidence/foundation for all the other design sketching building blocks (perspective, marker pens etc). I’m very busy with work for a few weeks but hopefully soon after that.
Plz can you draw DJhowarth 🙏
Seems like an odd request! :)
