Riparian Buffers: A Good Practice for Clean Water

There are many ways to protect water quality in your community. This video, as part of the Roadside Guide to Clean Water from Penn State Extension, is an introduction to some of those practices. In this video, we will explore riparian buffers, which can be planted along any stream to help keep the water clean. We will show you how to recognize riparian bufferswhen you see them in your community. We will also talk to several landowners about why they chose to install and maintain a riparian bufferon their property.
