Rainbow Slimes have always only been able to spawn in the Hallow while it’s raining, so that’s why the Bestiary mentions them needing constant liquid intake. As for why they need it in the first place, probably just Terraria logic
Ik I'm a little bit late but they need constant fluid intake so they can stay a rainbow I'm assuming since light reflects off water to make a rainbow
6:40 that "lump" thing you're talking about is actually a coconut. Coconuts that are left for a while will actually grow into a new tree.
I haven’t thought about the sword falling from the sky, makes sense since you can use fallen stars to turn a boomerang into an enchanted one.
My theory was it was so there could be a convenient and dramatic beam of light when you pull it from the stone.

The badger’s hat is such an enigma, it has a rather specific speedrunning requirement to obtain it, it’s says great for impersonating streamers!, and if you wear two in the vanity, armor slot the hat visibly stacks like the bucket, even then it sometimes loses the green part as a reference to the actual hat

Hi, I'm from Argentina and yes games on PC here look really cheap, thats thanks to steam that suggest developers to put a really low price otherwise nobody is gonna buy their games and will probably pirate them, mostly since the minimum wage is $45.000 pesos, which is around 150 dollars per month (And the fact that most people doesnt even get paid that much). That's only on Steam tho, other platforms such as Epic games or the Playstation store keeps their prices at the normal value like 50 or 60 dollars depending on the game.
Edit: You also have to pay +75% of the game value just in taxes. You can only avoid this by paying with the steam wallet.

06:02 Halberds and spears are two different weapons in the polearm category. A halberd is not a spear. And the orichalcum halberd doesnt look like a pike, because a pike is basically a longer spear. It looks more like a lucerne hammer or a bec de corbin.
Orichalcum halberd actually looks like a Ji, a Chinese polearm, which fits with the orichalcum set being Asian based

the weirdly specific tree item chances are probably due to it being written as a fraction in the code but converted to a percentage for the wiki. no idea why the wiki felt the need to be so precise though.
I remember playing on my phone in 1.3 getting the Drax prehardmode. It was fun to me to get Chlorophyte early but I was unable to beat the Mech Bosses because I was a stupid kid 😐

I’m fairly certain referring to SkelPrime as Skeletron’s sibling is inaccurate. They are almost certainly the same individual, with canon stating Skeletron to be the bones of Cthulhu and implying that the mechanical bosses were an attempt to recreate Cthulhu as a cyborg.

Actually I do believe gel "mixes" all the colours depending on whose gel you have most, but ofc it gets reset to blue upon rejoining like you mentioned. Maybe it's just some mod since I mainly play modded, but I've seen gel slowly shift from a yellow-ish tone to a more purple tone while I was farming gel

You *Can* actually place lesser healing potions in 1.4! If you go to a heavy work bench with one in your inventory, you can craft decorative placeable ones that look identical to the ones found in the dungeon, and drop a regular lesser healing potion when broken.

Years ago, I was playing terraria mobile. At the time hard mode wasn’t a thing in the version that I was playing but I managed to get the drax from a shadow chest.

This isn't useless information, it's great resource pack ideas, now I have lots of mistakes to fix.
The rainbow slime fluid intake part might me a joke on RGB gaming PCs and the common water cooling people flex.
I miss the turkey man mainly cause of its way to good drop of the horn o plenty which just acts as a slightly worse healing potion then the best one I believe at 120 health gained but it never runs out and has infinite uses

this series is great, but just how much ridiculous, trivial information can you squeeze out of terraria without resorting to things like
"in this newly generated world, the block at 879 west and 250 underground is a piece of silver ore" or some nonsense like that?
Correction: You can craft peaceable healing potions, all you need is a heavy workbench and some lesser healing potions.
Funni thing is, I actually still have a physical copy of 3DS Terraria! I might go back to it some time for nostalgia and to tend to some unfinished business (I managed to somehow beat the Eye and Skeletron while skipping the Eater/Brain)
Younger me was _terrified_ to try the Wall because of the smaller-than-small world size, though nowadays I feel a lot more confident in my abilities after 700+ hours playing the PC version

pink gel might be less combustible and not really due to its flammability. Or the reaction from being burned might be too violent for the flamethrower as well

I actually use molotovs for a bunch of the bosses at the start of an expert world. Especially wall of flesh, the wall of flesh is immune to fire but not it’s little fleshy things.

also yes argentina is suffering some pretty bad inflation but it's always got cheap prices on steam and other subscription services because of how big the computer owning population is in argentina
meaning it's more profitable to give argentinian users cheaper prices meaning more people willing to buy the games meaning far larger sale numbers
to offset this argentinians cant upload money with any local method and must go through a hefty 70% tax to upload money to steam
(also like others have mentioned most argentinian users know how to pirate since for a long time games on steam were unrealistically expensive so if they match prices to the USD they're gonna lose a lot of sales)
