Never heard a dev team sound so proud of what they have created on this and previous recent preview streams. Since DTG’s last price increase to £30 I usually wait for the sales for new routes but you have me sold and I have just bought it. Route looks great and attention to detail very impressive. Well done JT!
Absolutely brilliant route and you can see what a labour of love it has been for the Just Trains team. It surely has to be the best Train Sim World route to date.
Totally amazing route you and the team have built here . Thank you for the insight into the route is great to get the back story on all the stations and infrastructure that once was . You can here how proud you are of what you and the team have created and rightly so , its awesome . Can't wait for your next dive into TSW creation .
Really looking forward to this. I live in Lytham and have to say the scenery is pretty much a perfect recreation. Can see the passion you guys have put into this.
Bought this last week for the PS5. Wow. having lived in St. Annes on Sea since I was 3 years old (now 56) I remember St. Annes on Sea station being in that derelict state. Absolutely nailed it. Spent many a happy day on Preston station train spotting. Again absolutely nailed it.
What I find strange is not including the more accurate Colne/Rose Grove, Blackpool south/North via Preston route. If it had this route I would think to by this route.
There is a version i made for TSC. However it only contains BP North to Preston. Available from On Track Simulation, however it is not upto the same level of detail as the TSW route.
Ah yes Northen Lines and Northern Electric. Brilliant routes, was more so thinking for Blackpool South as a future TSC Route. And as for detail, many of yours and others TSC routes are amazing for it, the Hope Valley extension being one of my personal faves.
I'm getting this add on for Christmas, can't wait to play it. Personally I'd love to see a modern day version of the route but going from Blackpool to Liverpool via Wigan as that would be a brilliant end to end route that could mix in a real variety of trains
I remember having to ride one of these every day two and from Exeter college. Used to be a right laugh every time it came off the main line and heading up the Exmouth branch you would be bounced everywhere if you wasn't sat down lol.
Such a great route. There are some inaccuracies for 1985 though. Crossleys timber works was gone entirely by 1985... it was demolished in 1983. Layton station also appears to be unmanned and boarded up on the route, but that didn't happen until 1994.
No thanks to you as a child I went to blackpool every year and my first time on the pacer was darlington to redcar central I hope somebody does this route in the designer cause I'm not very good nice to see the pacer in darlington again
I too will be getting this on release, It's great to hear you doing the voiceover Tom, well done to you Mark, Benedict and the rest of the Just Trains team!
Looks like a great route, shows what TSW can do when someone cares about it. Love all the little details like cable trunking etc. Unfortunately due to DTG greed it's not worth £60 to me as i won't be getting TSW4, being forced to buy lackluster routes from DTG at a premium price so i can buy the routes i actually want turn me off the whole franchise.
Ditto. Would love to buy this, would have been a day 1 purchase but can't justify effectively paying £60 for the Blackpool Line unfortunatly. Especially after the route was announced prior to TSW4.
I am literally speechless that the class most associated with the line (class 40) isn’t on this add-on? What the hell were they thinking? Will it be available if people own the class 40 add-on pack?
Is release on JT still the same time as steam for PC? Absolutely love the detail put into this, You've really captured the dilapidated state of the network back then! Will be an instant buy from me!
4pm approx the store version should be live. It will be in line with the steam store and epic. You can sign upto the email system on the JT in dev page for the route to be notified instantly :)
The class 37 features within the AI passing on the West Coast Main Line. It wouldnt fit in on the passenger side of things from what we could work out from photo reference. Ideally a Class 37/0 would be needed
The clag and smoke effects on the class 47 are brilliant how it should be on the rest instead of the fixed white steam like crap that turns black on full wack
As a Fleetwood resident, I never ever thought I'd see Blackpool North & Poulton train station in vide game form, & recreated so brilliantly! Madness 🤣 Btw even the shops at Harrowside too?? Is the legendary Armenian Kebab House recreated? haha
The building is there for the legendary Armenian Kebab house! (Branding may be different as to not infringe on any copyrights etc. But that kebab house is fantastic. Used to visit there every friday night when i used to be a tram driver down at Starr Gate! Glad to hear another local Fleetwood resident enjoy the project, as i am located in Fleetwood myself :)
Carn't wait to add a Fowler 4F to the route in a L&YR Livery as close to 0 - 6 - 0 as you can get that once ran from Blackpool to Liverpool Manchester and Leeds ect!
Hi Do you know if this was a totally bugged on PS5? I have been playing this for over a week and completed the training, then when I try to drive any routes the train won’t move. Then the cab/cockpit is in a blackout with no way to turn on the lights. Can you offer any help?
Why is it just old routes and old trains why not modern trains as well like Northern, trans pennine, avanti west coast as there's trains which go from blackpool directly to London Euston, don't get me wrong I love the aspect but I'd really like a modern aspect to it as well with modern trains and there isn't really any trains anymore which just travel from blackpool to Preston they all usually have a direct route to some where and tbh I haven't seen a blackpool North to Manchester Victoria in a long time tbh
That is just down to the choice we made with in the Just Trains route proposal. It was the most interesting option to us as a team who were all interested in the BR era scene. Plus we have a wealth of suitable locos and rolling stock to make a busy timetable.
@@topmandog1 And it will sell a handful of copies compared to the main game. If you buy every single spare part for a VW Golf it will cost considerably more than a complete car. Economics is a bitch.
Horrific texture pop in on the track still not fixed, avoid from me. Pretty sure this isn’t down to JT but DTG. It plagues all of TSW, once it’s finally addressed I’ll pick this up as it does look like a cracking effort.

i am very high right now, that preston station is weirding me out, when you putting burnley in
What I find strange is not including the more accurate Colne/Rose Grove, Blackpool south/North via Preston route. If it had this route I would think to by this route.
Blackpool South services ran to Ormskirk in 1986 which is why we chose this specific route and stock.
Would love to see this route in Train Simulator. Fantastic work all round!

This looks absolutely amazing, top work by JT. Cannot wait to get this tomorrow and absolutely loving TSW4 too :)
Great to hear we hope you enjoy!
i was kinda hoping theyd do blackpool central too, that would be super fun, i like the bobbing of the pacer as it speeds along
Steam era for Blackpool Central, 20 years earlier from this route setting. :)
I'm getting this add on for Christmas, can't wait to play it.

this is so cool, amazing level of detail.

Great news Gareth! Thank you from us all within the JT team
What is the cork screw between the time and the hand for stop in the HUD please I haven't got TSW4 yet but will at some point.
That is the count down for approaching a task / counting down how long is left at a station.
@@TrainSim_TV Many thanks

A great choice idea indeed.

But thank you for watching and the kind comments towards the route!

Totally fair, hopefully maybe down the line you may be swayed :)
Benson Crown crisps used to very close to Kirkham train station in the 1980s
I am literally speechless that the class most associated with the line (class 40) isn’t on this add-on? What the hell were they thinking? Will it be available if people own the class 40 add-on pack?
The class 40 is used on the route. If you own the Heavy freight pack you will see it in the game to drive and as AI
Brilliant, I will definitely be buying this. Sorry if you mentioned it but when did Blackpool pleasure Beach station open please
1987 it opened. There is a mastery unlock related to this too.
amazing preston looks the same now as it did in the 70s and 80s
Great to hear ! :)
Finally the suspension work looks more or less realistic, not stupid bouncing and jerking.
Its great fun to watch it bounce away
@@TrainSim_TV when it's bouncing smoothly like on the video, yep.

Great to hear!
Are the train announcements for station stops available on ps5 ,xbox series X ?
Announcements work across all platforms
Wasn’t there a station called Blackpool Pleasure Beach, or did I dream it?
Not open until 1986. However the mastery tile is a nod to the upcoming site in construction
Just would like to know why no 37. Was this wrong time frame.

I would love to see the durham coast line on TSW4
We take all feedback and suggestions on board. Cannot promise however but we like to see and hear what users would like to see.
What spec pc would I need to run this ? This looks a great route!
The specs for tsw are listed on the steam page for the core game
How do i get this game
I can see my house on this 😂 full on accurate

looks alright ... still DTG got a long way to go
This is created by Just Trains, not DTG
Best dlc on tsw it's even better than the game itself
Thank you for the kind words!
How much money is the route
£29.99 / €35.99 / $39.99
@@TrainSim_TV thats mad it costs as much as the game

@dereksmalls6494 yeah true, same with omsi the dlcs can cost up to 30 quid despite the game being 30 quid
Standard DLC prices, we personally think its good value for money with what is included.
1:24:00 bus!

being a local lad from the Fylde coast it had to be done

Sadly out of JT's hands, we ensured to mitigated the popping in as much as possible however.
100% ...spoils it big time (still)
Hopefully in time this may be fixed all together by DTG

Ah sorry to hear this, though during the premiere there not any mention of this. Hopefully you enjoyed the footage either way.
