One question I have is, when you have a big caseload as a School Psych, how would you be able to incorporate the FBA into a case? Would you go over and discuss this at the IEP meeting when you are going over your report? Furthermore, with the time constraints, how would be able to balance between observe and follow up with just one students while still ensure you have time to take care your caseload?
When I did this video, I was a teaching in Florida, and our teachers conducted FBAs and wrote behavior plans. I do all of them as the Behavior Specialist in my school in California. Our school Psych doesn't do them. You really shouldn't have to do too many. It should only be a small number of students unless you have a specialized class. You would review the FBA and BIP at the meeting. The BIP is reviewed at least annually or more if needed.
