My favourite books from the ones that I have read in 2019 are: A thousand Splendid suns 1984 Girl with the dragon tattoo Man called Ove Men without women by Murakami The grown up by Gillian Flynn Metaporphosis Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari
Three thousand stitches was my first book in English. I entered into English book world by this book. I love the simplicity of this book, of course, powerful stories. Becoming and Raavan will be my next read. Thank you..😊
Hey Saumya I have read 11 books so far this year. Out of these I loved Becoming by Michelle Obama very much. I found it both eye opening and inspiring. I am looking forward to read a book by Manto. I have seen you talking about them. Which one do you suggest I should pick up? Thank you for your list and I am going to make a note. I am not a fan of mythological fiction but would like to pick up Raavan sooner or later. Do you have any idea if there is going to be a book fair this year in Delhi?
If you want to read stories about India's partition then you can read Mottled Dawn by Manto and if you want to read stories about different kinds of people and characters then you can pick up Bombay Stories by Manto. The book fair might happen in September (not sure) but the January one is always the better one.
Currently reading Wonder (finally!!) I am having a lot of tests in school. It's very difficult to manage these things together. But in terms of reading I didn't read a lot. :( Btw, wonder is so beautiful. I wanted to read Three Thousand Stitches is something that I wanted to read since 2 years, but never got a chance!
You read Desire, it's a short story collection. A very quick read. you will get an idea about how Murakami writes. Or if you want to read a novel by him, you can read Kafka on the shore.
My absolute fav this year have been: Animal Farm A Man Called Ove The Boy in Striped Pyjamas Both Animal Farm and The Boy in Striped Pyjamas left me shocked and horrified. A Man called Ove was so so good that I even watched the movie although I didn't like the movie much. I did not like cast. All these books were recommended by you. I always buy books on your recommendation and have never regretted. Love you :)

I showed five books in the video that I had as hard copies. I listened to three as audio books and remaining two I read as Kindle. Total 10 books. I have talked about them in my wrap up videos.

"I'm Not Crazy My Mother Had Me Tested." - Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory)

Hi saumaya, i want to ask you. The people who sell books near station why they sell it so cheap than amazon ? I always think that those books have less content then the original book.
They are pirated books, not original. That's the main reason.
@@SaumyasBookstation aww.. thanks for replying 🥰 so we shouldn't buy them coz the content is fake.
