I think you should find a new stronghold to go to the end then you can use the other stronghold. It’ll be more of a challenge that way

I swear wattles has gotta be at least in the top 5 best builders in minecraft. He gives so much attention to detail and over half of what I create is inspired from him! No cap one of the most underrated builders in minecraft youtube history. Keep it up!

Also, if you're playing on peaceful (exclusively) you need to be on a seed that has a 1-in-a-trillion pre-opened portal with all 12 eyes of ender already filled in. I believe there are numerous such seeds on Java, and at least one has been found on Bedrock (though it's a bit of a hike from spawn!). You may still want ender pearls for getting out to the outer end islands (by intended strats), in which case, yes, bartering is the only game in town (other than the odd bit of chest loot in a stronghold or something).
Sometimes chests have ended pearls in dungeons and stuff
Every seed in bedrock is technically infinite and has a filled portal if you can find it and get to it
Well, I think you run into other technical limitations in the vast vast vast majority of seeds. At extreme distances from the origin you just fall right through the world and hardly anything else works right either.
If anyone cares to know, the Bedrock seed is 466428990. I stream it, too - it's my long-term survival world at the moment.

According to Eagle Eye, Smite V on netherite sword and Sharpness V on a netherite axe is the better combo. But either way one of each is super useful
I literally LOVE having Smite on a sword over Sharpness, most of the mobs we have to deal with are undead and Smite does not get the love it deserves :' ) Sharpness on an axe is definitely an interesting idea, might try that out!
@@infearitrust4183 Smite V netherite swords can one-shot most of the pack-travelling undead mobs, whereas a Sharp V netherite axe one-or-two shots the non-undead common mobs. Before netherite a sharp sword and smite axe was ideal, with netherite it's the other way around. Also keep a second smite V axe if you want to fight the wither legitimately, it does serious work on it

@@infearitrust4183 Indeed. Check out EagleEye621's channel; he has a video about weapon enchantments that goes into crazy detail about 1.16 axes and swords with smite and sharpness. Wattles covered his armor enchant video a while back which was really good

Potions are actually pretty simple. It's really just down to knowing what ingredients do what.
Netherwart is required to make the base "awkward potion," which is required for every potion except weakness (for whatever reason).
•Glistening melon for health
•Ghast tear for regeneration
•Sugar for speed
•Golden carrot for night vision
•Blaze powder for strength
•Spider eye for poison
•Fermented spider eye reverses the effect (e.g. swiftness becomes slowness)
And so on
•Redstone dust increases the duration
•Glowstone dust increases the potency
•Gunpowder makes the potion a splash potion
>Dragon breath makes a splash potion a lingering potion
I think this is my fav wattles build yet! It’s so nice looking inside and out. Big fan of the chair (evil)

Smite V on a netherite sword or axe will one-hit kill phantoms. I usually keep one with me just in case. It will also one hit kill wither skeletons if you’re looking for wither skeleton skulls.

Oh Wattles we are on the same page for naming our tools, I got a Uptown Hoe with silk touch and a Downtown Hoe with fortune. Very useful for busting mossy holes and bushy things.

Add an Enderpearl station on the Phantom membrane farm so you are automatically transported to it at night
As far as deciding if to use the strong hold again or not let the eyes of ender decide
I like to make a bunch of bases around the world using portals too teleport my self thousands of blocks away from my main base
Wattles you can use the membranes to répare the elytra if you do not have mending or have no way to get xp nearby

You should get a maxed set of every armor type, including chain for the laughs. Also what if you made the worst armor and spend a episode with only it: wings turtle hat gold pants leather boots
Leather boots are actually useful with powdered snow, though.
And leather is great compared to gold
@@Revan1939 - For PVP situations you could literally make your floors out of powdered snow, so that anyone not wearing leather boots cannot walk on those floors.

Wattles, my dude, cauldrons aren't useless anymore. Put a pointed drip stone above it with some water and it'll refill on its own now. Perfect for a potion setup. Super easy.

Okay this is the fourth in a row I've watched your Guide, take my sub!
Just a piece of advice. When you use spruce wood, and then it goes in the water, make the logs in the water dark oak so it look like the spruce wood is wet
The only negative about potions is the amount of individual slots they take up and having to chuck out glass bottles constantly. Satchels would reeeeally be nice! Heck, I wouldn't mind keeping a satchel on hand just for potion brewing, too.
The potion brewing base kinda looks like a retextured mini version of the grand cathedral

I think it would be pretty cool idea for the mountain in the lake to have a dock at the bottom in the dark somewhere that lead to a large door way that leads to a decorative stair case that leads to the top of the mountain with some type of tower looking over the rest of the settlement

I remember what modifier ingredient do by this:
- Redstone increases potion time because it is used in Clock recipe
- Gunpowder makes splash potions because splash = explosion
- Glowstone Dust increases the power of the potion because... it glows, i guess?
I feel like you should stick with the everything new theme and find a different stronghold and end portal. Another great episode wattles

put a patio off one window in the phantom tower with a diving board to jump into the lake to get down faster
I'm not sure if it works on Java, I play on Xbox, but if you have thorns on your armor the phantoms will spawn more. They get hurt and head back up to their height limit and more will appear.

What about a glow item frame for the entry way? I think that would add something without taking up too much space.
You mentioned that peaceful players would have to barter for pearls, but you didn’t mention that they can trade emeralds to the cleric for ender pearls as well, which is much better than bartering for them, IMO.

Potions you say? Over here on bedrock console I happen to have five double chest full of every variant and every type 2 variant of every potion. Luckily I learned about drip Stone/cauldron infinite potion glitch before it got patched and spent a couple weeks filling chests to the brim!!
You can use fortune for harvesting nether wort. Even fortune on your pickaxe will do the trick. You get 2-4 without fortune, but 5-7 with Fortune III.
You can add one source water for infinite water for water bottles in the build

I don't know how relevant this is but you could just make the glow berries a reverse farm of the sugar cane farm. Like instead of detecting the top block detect the bottom block and then piston the block below the highest glow berry vine. This is because "Each newly-grown cave vine block has a 1 in 9 chance of bearing glow berries." Thus when the vine reaches the bottom it gets broken by the piston, glow berries fall (if there are any) and new vines can grow and have a chance of making more glow berries. EASY
