Guadagnino is a genius. Chalamet and Armie never had to audition. Guadagnino had them in mind for the roles and it was a perfect match. Amazing grace.

Impact of the story was enhanced by studding very suited stars ,and their natural performance. Love chemistry between them and sex scenes are gorgeous. Armie was excellent in his role of matured partner while Timothee, young guy asking and exploring love was exceptionally good. Seen movie for a few times and enjoyed every time i watched

Timmy has talent beyond explanation........ he beauty, his openness, his commitment, his sincerity, his charm, his ability to act like he really isn’t. And then there is Armie, who brings the experience and charisma, the talk beyond belief, his ability to suck Timmy in, and between the partnership, you want to ship these two into a real live story which never ends. I haven’t been able to see the movie yet, but the clips from you tube and other sources make me can’t wait! I am a bisexual man and the sex has no baring on the story and yet the relationships, the memories from my first loves, the places I went right and the places I went wrong, make me want the chance to do it all over. However, we know life does not afford the luxury but it does fill my heart with hope and love for others experiences. I wish my time in the early eights would have been pure and innocent as portrayed in the movie. The early eighties, were a scary time to for men to find true love. The sexual relationships don’t bother me as much as the ability to feel the whole period I missed out on because of ignorance and lack of knowledge of “the plague” no one knew anything about it. Could you kiss? Could you sit on a toilet seat? The story, the scenery, the music, the plot, the bonds and the innocence of the movie are something I did get to experience for 4-5 years and I will always cherish and remember the times. January 19, 2018 can’t get here soon enough!

Elio & Oliver...Timothee & Armie I have listened to Armie read the novel and watched the movie in the theatre 11 times...I just can’t get enough of everything about this story-elio & Oliver..timothee and armie..Italy landscape..the beauty of the story and the characters as they unfold..the unconditional love of the parents and the joys and sorrow of first love..sultry film...It’s as though they do such a beautiful job of inhabiting their characters and you feel as though their brilliant acting abilities bring those characters from the book into real life with such genuineness - I can’t wait for the sequel. I find some something different each time that I love when I watch it over and over again. Nothings ever hit me like this beautiful story as it unfolds on camera.
You feel like you are right there in the scene somewhere in the corner watching it all unfold...gives me hope for love again.☮️❤️

I love them so much. Their chemistry is so amazing and the way they treat each other makes my heart melt. They love each other so much and I'm glad they are still so close.
