It is what was previously called "clean cut all-American boy." It contrasts with Elio's romantic tosseled hair. Two males, so very different. Classic beauty.

Now, We know that the "CMBYNAICYBM was said when they were facing each other. Right? So what is Oliver whispering in his ear. Whatever it is appears to draw the answer "Yes". I think Armie looks sad at the end because he wishes he were a much bigger risk taker and doesn't feel worthy of the title (not true!). I don't think he's mad at Timmy. He's in an impossible position career-wise and family-wise. He's a good guy and can't bring himself to destroy his wife and kids over this...and, yet, he literally seems to ache for T. I think that he's praying that time will bring about the changes he needs. When Timmy has sown his oats and is ready to settle down, Armie's kids will be off to college, and maybe then -- fingers crossed-- everything will come together for them! That would be ideal, but life rarely works out the way we think it will. Can't wait to see what happens.

It's getting so hard to open up this thread CMBYN Lovers. That song for Elio and Oliver is overwhelming enough but for Tim and Armie. As soon as I begins it's like a bucket of iced water thrown in your face. I hurts soooo much. I know this was months ago. The La Palatine interview with Freund was in January; but it's like it was yesterday. I know too this is a mashup, but those looks are still real. Heaven knows what would happen if they actually looked each other in the eye with those looks. Freund may have to do what Luca did. Leave them to their own devices.
The "Where you been all my life" line coupled with the whispered "So beautiful", it just makes my heart ache and I am immediately fighting back tears and often losing.

It's a bit odd. The photogs are always picking up on whatever these two do. I was interested in why Armies gaze went down at one point in the video. He's looking at Time then his gaze shift downward, and I had to ask myself. What ya looking at Armie? :) He does that a lot in interviews like it some code between them. Let me find it on the vid... around 3:09. You know I think this is the freest and happiest I've seen them in an interview. Just them luxuriating in each other. Gosh they deserve that.
