I started watching for Caitlin Clark but have become a big fan of the whole team over the season. Bless all the girls of the team for showing love to these kids that need it most.
The little ones won't remember but the parents under a lot of stress, and the staff putting in the work of making sure not only the babies are cared for, but the families are taken cared of will remember the experience. A smile is always welcome.
That was very gracious and kind of Caitlin & Coach Tully to stop there, take an interest, interact with the kids and parents, & pass out and sign souvenirs. Certainly top notch people.
What the haters in the WNBA don't understand is that it is just as important what an athlete does off the court as what they do on the court. At 67 years old, I NEVER watched a WNBA game until this season. I have all the Fever games on my calendar and watch them live whenever my TV providers broadcast them. The other teams, not so much. Starting to watch Boston and Lexie with the same enthusiasm as for Caitlin. You go Caitlin!!!!!

Love this. ❤ I'm closing in on 60 y/o and never watched an WNBA game in my life. Started seeing the videos on UA-cam regarding the controversy surrounding Caitlin Clark. Experience has taught me to 'see for myself ' and not just accept the common statement. So, I watched some highlight videos, then I watched a game. I have watched every game available since then. 😁 I don't know her or much about her and her family. But she obviously has a great family base of love and support. I have no right to feel it, but I'm so proud of her and the way she has handled this mess. Her maturity and grace will make her more successful and happy in life than any skill or notoriety. I just hope that her generation will take her example to heart. Nobody owes you anything. If you want it, work hard, and when you get it, be thankful and show grace. NOBODY wants to see arrogance, arrogance is ugly.
NICU is definitely not for the weak. It takes much grace to work in that department and it isn't a place for routine visits. Shouts out to the staff and the Fever for their support. CC and Tully ❤ the compassion shown to those families.
Great job! My son is a pediatric cancer survivor. There is no stress, like being worried for your child. To have a break from that even for 20 min is everything. You could tell those parents were happy to meet them. BTW, that hoodie Caitlin had on is a must get!

As a mom, who lost the love of her life, when professional athletes came to visit Thomas, it meant everything to him and to us.
