Slayer fucked up by not paying Lombardo what he's worth. He is far and away the very best metal drummer EVER.
Gilitar I believe Kerry will end up fucking over Gary and Paul both eventually. When Jeff died and Dave was gone the magic was gone although I do like Gary and Paul but it's not the same.

I am a drummer and I can say, Dave Lombardo is a genious of drumming, some guys are faster, some guys have more techinque, but NO ONE has at the same time such grroove, speed, feeling, heviness and good taste for fills as he has. He is a monster and unarguably the best and most influential drummer of the Big 4.

Dave is incredible. Being next to those drums I can only imagine how loud it is.
Lombardo made Slayer. I remember seeing the band in 1984. Lombardo's uzi-rapidfire bass drum technique applied to music was pretty much unheard of. He made metal drumming what it is today. Jeff Hanneman is dead, and without Dave Slayer is just a façade of a band. To still call the band Slayer is just a lie.
yeah. gary holt is a great guitarist but not a great writer. atleast not for slayer. and bostaph does not even have half the stage pressence that lombardo had. today's slayer is more like a cover band.
