Great job as usual. I don't know why but these sort of "classic" point and click games have way more charme to me than actions. Hope to see more of them coming soon ;)
@@thesmackdragon Good "point"! LOL. In fact, now that I think about it, the dagger was the only item left in the inventory at the end of the first gameツ
You must ......go to the Dark Falls Asylum... I got this game as well and it is really long compared to the other one. Also I am hoping they patch some of the issues I ran into before you get to them.
I also find it amusing that the "quarter" is what is know in the USA as a "Susan B. Anthony" dollar coin. you might have overpaid for that paper a bit.
@@lesdmark yes I really hope it's patched soon. I got through it. Only one made me lose all my progress and start over. Luckily I learned how to avoid it next time. But there were a couple issues where I had no choice but to 'skip' the puzzle in order to continue because it got stuck and glitched. But I'm glad I was at least able to finish the whole thing. I'd love to go through with a fine-toothed comb and see if I missed anything after they update it.
Many patches have been made. I hope it's primarily across the board for most players, but it was so much more fun to play this next time around. So CJU picked a good time to start, and not right away like we did lol
God, I'm so excited that you played this. Looking forward to the next part! When all the popular horror hubbub has died down substantially and you've earned some greens, I'd love to see more horror point and clicks again aaah. "Saint Kotar: The Yellow Mask" is an upcoming one, a demo is in the making and it's definitely up your alley.
@@mAcCoLo666 :] Indeed. The writer admits to Lovecraft as one of the inspirations. "Hand-painted in a distinctive art style, fully voiced and featuring an eerie original soundtrack, Saint Kotar draws inspiration from classics of the genre like Broken Sword, Gabriel Knight and Black Mirror, along with the works of horror fiction writers such as H.P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe."
Hey CJU, glad you are playing this. Enjoyed your playthrough of the first one and excited to see how this one proceeds. Side note, the sequel to this great 2D psychological horror adventure game called DISTRAINT is coming out on Nov 13th. I didn't see a playthrough on your channel so I wasn't sure if you have heard of it. I get the feeling you would like it. The first game is free right now on Steam. Not sure how much the 2nd game will be.
I saw the first episode posted then binged your entire play through of part one in time to get caught up to this point. I'm so excited for the next part. And definitely won't be mad if they're a bit long. I can never get enough of your videos!! ❤️❤️
Hey cju! I discovered your page a few months ago and I love your videos! I’ve pretty much been binge watching them lol. Wasn’t really sure where to post this, but someone recreated PT completely, and unlike a lot of other attempts, this it’s pretty much a 1:1 remake. This is probably my favorite horror game (or teaser?) of all time! Would love to see you play! Here’s a link if you want to look into it: arturlaczkowski.itch.io/playableteaser
I'm currently playing the game on Android, and there's a bug in Act 2 that prevents you from progressing if you're playing on Expert. I'd recommend keeping an eye on the patch notes to see when they fix it (has to do with a printer). Also - word of caution : If you see the tiny words Reset and Exit in the top corner of the game while doing a puzzle...this does NOT reset the puzzle...it resets the entire game. so DO NOT CLICK.
Apparently they are patching the reset thing but yeah, if you see the word reset anywhere do not press it. It was a bug testing thing for them apparently and got left in the game :o
Hmm...I like the length of most notes on this game. They are mostly around 3 to 5 sentences long, I don't feel it's a giant wall of text that 'bores' me to read it. Just enough text in it to convey what it wants to say. Anyway, I just saw a few games that had that extra lengthy notes and notes are fine but yeah, I think there's a certain length that it should be so it won't be boring to read...maybe.
A destroyed Nokia brick phone?! OK, THATS IT! Immersion broken! You can't break those things! lol EDIT: I would just like to point out that the image used for the "quarter" is in fact a Susan B. Anthony one dollar coin.

I actually just need an hour long video of you saying "No!" in that slightly disappointed tone
i think that was the first time i've seen you get a 50/50 puzzle like that in the first go. haha. nice job!
CAN NOT WAIT FOR MORE !!!
Interesting that Holly, or anyone, would just happen to have a random "strange dagger" in their glove box. ツ Good thing for her she did.
I think it's the one she found in the previous game and was resourceful enough to hang onto it. :) Go Holly!
@@thesmackdragon Good "point"! LOL. In fact, now that I think about it, the dagger was the only item left in the inventory at the end of the first gameツ
@@Scriptor13 Its about the only thing she ever does bother to hang on to so we should be grateful XD
@@jameso8351 She seems to better hang onto items that are multi-use in the sequel, so that's a start! LOL
honestly this is one of my all-time favourite games to watch you play! looking forward to seeing more of this story too (finally) :D
7:45 Mr. Dagger! You're back!
Next part we enter New territory :P Can't to see Part 3 of Part 2 LOL
Also hoping for more Cthulhu ^^
Stay good Cju!
Cthulhu Cthulhu Cthulhu YESSSSS!

According to the Devs, there are some "updates" that are coming... So, yeah, I expect they will be fixing glitches and bugs as they are reported.

Finally!!! The sick me, stuck in bed, has awaited this :D
Since I'm currently and finally playing the Nuka World dlc for FO4 also, the music in this game reminds me of FO4, quite a bit, lol.

loved the 'meta' "waiting to go through the gate for years now" from the developers.
I'm in doubt quite a lot, though I think carrying a mythical dagger around to fix things may attract attention and concern...
An abandoned asylum in art deco style plus someone resembling Alessa or The Girl From The Ring? Count me in, let's go explore!!
"That will ruin the dagger." As opposed to using it as a lever in car repair?
You didn't know daggers'' weak point?
This is pretty cool. I have another game suggestion. Death Mark. I’m not sure if it’s on PC but it came out on Halloween
Awesome! Keep'em coming my good man. X)

I think you missed a Polaroid on the inside of the door of locker #1 :(
I think you missed a picture out at the guard post in locker 1, not that you can go back for it.
Hello friends
Part 3???

Tūre fair
4:17 he’s missing half the story not reading what was actually written on things like that. Gotta read the original words before Holly’s take on it
You missed a Photo at Locker number 1
This game is try to have a serious theme. But it always turns out to be darned cheesy. I like how the looking of the protagonist btw
Where is my Cthulhu? :(
You like that game? I cant get into it. If it hadnt already told us the whole story right away Id like it.
