It's... An okay soundtrack. I come from the original Xenoblade, but I've never played X because I don't have a Wii U. This soundtrack to me just sounds not as unique sometimes compared to the first game's tracks like Engage the Enemy or Unfinished Battle. But that's just me. Don't get me wrong, it's not that don't like this soundtrack, it's just that I like the original's much better.
+JCW Hiroyuki Sawano did well to live up to Yoko Shimomura, ACE+, Manami Kiyota and anyone else who worked on the composer team. Though the vocals aren't as good to listen too alone however in gameplay they fit in just perfectly especially considering your characters are already talking.
There's no way for me to express in words how much I love this. No really, this is my favorite song in the OST so thanks for a totally epic cover for an under appreciated song.
Really sweet job man! the dynamic shifts throughout the song are so well done. I'm not too familiar with the xenoblade series (only played a little bit of chronicles) but the soundtrack is just outstanding.
This music is sooooooo goood, but sad at the same moment! ;_; I REALLY love this game, easy GOTY 2015/16, despite it leaving open SO MANY questions unanswered and without real focus to the playable avatar at the end of the game, like what his/her origin was, or who exactly The One was Luxaar all the time talked about. Anyway, as this theme played in that certain cutscene I was really pumped! "So what's it gonna be!? The chest? Or the head!?" I was shed in tears! Not only that I liked Lao so freakin' much up to chapter 9, but seeing Elma pointing a gun at him to receive the data back Lao stole. I was between the fronts there. The cutscene shows my character wanting to save Lao, without struggle. But I first wanted to act like Elma, taking out my weapon to shoot and kill him. A scene played in my head afterwards, where I struggle and drop my weapon at the end, acting like it was shown in the cutscene afterwards. Oh man, I could go on FOREVER saying how great this game just is! Like how this game gives you the opportunity to either identify with you through the character, pretty much like Zelda does (with a little more freedom that is), or creating an entirely new person with his/her own personality! Anyway, sry if I got a little off here. This is one very epic cover you did there, looking forward to even more of these! :D
Ayyy lmao Yelv is my most favourite unlockable companion, so I made sure to finish his quest line first. It sure does hint a lot, leading to a possible answer, but it's still not the clear answer I'm searching for.^^ Also, at the end of this quest we see another Yelv-looking body in one of the mim-capsules in the maintenance center, Eleonora saying it's a so called "J-Body" afterwards. So, you see, with this one also being an unanswered question I even more demand a sequel, or at least additional DLC story missions to answer any question left. :)
NewSuperMadWorld I was talkinga bout J bodies. It seems like J bodies are clones, and clones dont need a host I think, they have an AI. Maybe everyone is such a clone, and thats why the mims are still working despite the lifehold core being destroyed.
+Ayyy lmao Eleonora stated that J bodies are yet just a project, but that's another story. Mimeosomes are "souls in a mechanical body", that's why they can still enjoy life and react and feel like real persons. But they need - most of the times, as it turns out - the data base within the lifehold core, which is destroyed, as you said. So I think J bodies are like mims, souls in a mech body, but without being in the need of any other source, like the data base in the core. So, I think J bodies are "just" "better mims". But there still isn't a "clear answer", since these are just theories we're making up here.^^ (Btw. I love discussing such theories. Don't know why, but I do. ;P )

Xenoblade X is weird to me. On paper, I don't really like anything about it. I don't like the combat, the open world is cool but there is a lot to explore but nothing to find. The story had a lot of potential but didn't capitalize on it well. With the exception of a few songs, I don't care for the soundtrack too much. The voice acting is kind of cheesy too. But when it all comes together, I can't stop playing it. It's odd and I can't figure out why I'm enjoying it, I just am
