i purchased the eirene rr4 from the gunsmith and it is awesome! it handles like a scout rifle and it is smooth firing. It even one shots people with super/revives and if you miss your shot you can make quick shots off to kill them
I got the high impact version from ranking up the Gunsmith. Mine was a Void one with Outlaw and Unflinching. It's helped me so much when fighting Taken Wizards.

I have an Eirene RR4 with luck in the chamber, snapshot and unflinching. It's an animal. It's my new favorite sniper. Only cons are the scopes for reasons you mentioned. Doesn't have a huge aim assist (21) but doesn't persuade me. I love the feel and the skill compared to high assisting snipers. Moving forward; I see people using 1000 yard stare mostly now due to aim assist and the weapon doing the work for most people.

Hey, True Vanguard you do know that Motes of Lights are consumables you can use as experience to level up weapons and gear faster. Also if you use a telemetry from the Gunsmith your able to use less Motes of Lights and upgrade your weapons a whole lot faster. Just a tip, Love your videos man. Keep up the good work!

I have the Eirene (rank 3 gunsmith package last armsday). Took a while to get used to the lack of aim assist, and it's exceptionally weird Faucon sight. I like it now that I'm used to it, and will be ordering a couple more in hopes of getting them in solar and void as well.

I almost feel bad for using it sometimes especially now that you hear sounds when the perks proc making it a lot easier to just do a reload so you know you get another lucky bullet. So while it's great that this gun is available at the gun smith this week, I hope it will not roll with LitC as then we will have the final round mess all over again. Also it's kinda conflicting to see you play with year 1 gear as you mentioned in previous videos that we should be starting to embrace the TTK weapons and let go of the past ;-). But good job on the vid, I love the uzume I have as well. I love the sound of the snipers rifles as well.

The higher your gunsmith rank the more choices u can pick from when u pick your order. Example rank 3 has 3 of the same weapon available all with different perks u choose the one u want
All orders are normalized across everyone. If I order the same gun as you, the same week, we'll get the same perks. Just an FYI. Edit: Great vid though, I'll make sure to pick the Eirenne up
i have a question. what's going through your head when you switch from your sniper to your primary. for example. right around 4:40 - you switched to MIDA...I think I would have stayed with my sniper in that situation which maybe isn't the best thing...?
+Scott McElveen When you order the same weapon on more than 1 character you will have the exact same perks on every one! But maybe there are 2 good rolls for that sniper and you want to pick up 2 of them. Its unlikely but you can do that.

+LazyData I could be mistaken, but I think the number of options you're given is dependent on your Gunsmith rank. I had 3 options for each of the two scout rifles I ordered last week and I'm currently rank 3 with my hunter. I've got two Omolon Eirene RR4s ordered for next week, one on my hunter and one on my warlock (only rank 2). Come Armsday I'll post up to let you know how many options I have for the two orders.
TrueVanguard I have a question, why do sunbreaker titans hang on by the skin of their teeth after a headshot from my 1000 yard stare? it has frustrated me to many times to hit them with a headshot only to see them still alive with a sliver of health left.

It depends on what type of elemental damage it does, if it is solar, the liquid is red, if it is void, it is purple, if it is arc, it is light blue, and if it is kinetic, it is a darker blue
Hey vanguard, a question not directly related to the video: ambush vs shortgaze because generally i can snipe better with ambush, but i have the feeling, that getting sweaps became a lot harder with 2.0 and with shortgaze i don't have that problem, but my overall sniping is worse using it xD so should i switch to shortgaze? (Ambush is main right now, obviously xD)

Jackson N Really? I've been told that the ambush as .4x zoom and shortgaze has .5x zoom. But ya the ambush reticle moving faster is just due to it decreasing your aim assist, all aim assist does on snipers is slow down your aim when on an enemy. Im think ambush is something like -5 aim assist and shortgaze is something like +15, but im not sure about those numbers. Longview slr10 and tacsys are pretty decent scopes as well Honestly i feel like the importance of scopes is overhyped, just use whatever youre comfortable with
Nah they have the same zoom, and the ambush reticle doesn't move faster because of the aim assist, it moves faster due to the handling increase on the scope. So that means dragshots are completely different on either scope. If you are used to the shortgaze and switch to ambush, you will find yourself overextending and missing the dragshots due to the quicker reticle movement. Ambush is harder to use, in my opinion, but could reward a VERY skilled user due to the more sensitive reticle speed. Check out nghtly, he uses the ambush scope. And others like qaa51mb will recommend shortgaze. I personally use shortgaze because I am used to it.
Jackson N Huh, for whatever reason Im able to consistently land drag and quick scopes with both scopes, and the scopes on p&t. and hereafter... and stillpiercer lol (check my channel) I guess at this point ive just learned to compensate for the differences in whatever im using, but i definitely prefer shortgaze the best, i think possibly because of how clear it is (i hate that orange filter on ambush) Its ridiculous that bungie hides all this from us, the game should just list all of the stats and what they do for every scope/barrel/perk/etc.

How come when I pressed A on the package, it just disappeared? It didn't go to banshee or anything.

Have a very short range scope on this rifle I forget it's name but it's doing so well in normal crucible it's different from the one you have

I often switch when I think I got a body shot on a closer opponent. That way I can clean up the kill if I need to.

Got the Corvo SS2 and Aquila SS4 scopes on mine. Both long range scopes :-( But a least I got firefly and that is always a kick ;-)

Eirene sniper is super op, if you are lucky you can get luck in the chamber with that sniper.
I wanted to see the other scopes. Does it really only come with the standard sight? Arent there 2 other acopes
