On paper, the Panther is very good: 80mm of armour, and angled. It is expected to bounce shells (unless it's a 17 pounder or the round is sabot). However, in reality the frotal plate will crack and shatter after multiple hits. Cool sound FX though.
What exactly is multiple hits though? I heard 8 shots being bounced on that panther. I'm quite sure it can withstand what I assume was a 75 mm gun as long as the shots don't hit the same exact spot every time, which let's be honest, with the gun's recoil, it won't. Don't listen to random sites that the plate will suddenly shatter. There is no evidence that it will, aside from allied captured German tanks that were later in the war, late 1944 to 1945. By then the quality of German steel and welding was already worse, which I am sure is what the allies must have captured when they conducted their firing tests. Until late 1944 to 1945, the Germans were able to recover their tanks, until the allies made this impossible with their constant advancing.

Gotta love sloped armour, its one of the things that made the Panther tank so feared among the allies, it had more firepower than a Tiger l (better gun penetration) it was faster and lighter but had weaker side armour. Classified as a medium tank though its weight of 44.8 tons made it heavier than a Churchill 40.7 tons. Its 7.5 cm KwK 42 (L/70) gun had a high muzzle velocity and was the most powerful gun in WW2 when it came to tanks. You did not want to be caught out in the open going head to head with one of these because this gun allowed the tank to engage allied tanks at far greater distances then allied tanks needed to return fire. Had it not been for the numerous mechanical issues it had, the Battle of Kursk (Operation Citadel) might of gone more in Germany's favor. Because eventually when most of the mechanical problems were corrected it was too late in the war and Germany wasn't able to manufacture a sufficient amount of Tanks to swing the momentum of the war back in its favor. But those that did make it to the Battlefield performed incredibly well and did enough damage to make it a priority target for allied aircraft. One more thing, the sound effects of this game are superior to Hell Let Loose.
