I absolutely respect your dedication to making a tierlist that could become out dated in a few months due to constant support. Also this could be the best possible capsule for future duelist.
About the Ojama part it's kind of silly that the optimal way to build A-to-Z turbo is blind second 60 card pile where your engine and ways to get to your engine is ~40 cards so to increase the consistency (of not drawing garnets) is to just play 20 going second cards like Dark Ruler, Droplet, Kaijus etc. Also note the A-to-Z line (with no vanilla Ojamas in hand) and the opponent having a 2,650 or lower attack monster with no Interruption ends with A-to-Z with Monster/Spell/Trap Immunity and you can make Apollousa before you commit with your Ojamassimilations and if you opened at least 1 of the Ojama spells you search off blue you can also search Ojama Pajama to give A-to-Z 8 Ommi negates (the combo alsi ends with you having 6 cards in hand by default)
When I was going for a deck back in the 5Ds days, I settled on a stun/beatdown strategy focused around a multiarchtype Dragon deck. This focused on a powerful backrow that destroyed or negated the opponent's back row while also limited their summoning or attacking of powerful cards or limiting their attack points and prevented easy retainment of weaker monsters. Even if they had a monster that couldn't be destroyed that turtled on the opposing side, I also had the unique continuous trap Dragon's Rage which made all my dragons do piercing damage. I had three variants. One that was synchro based, another that relied on fusion and rituals, one that also relied on malefics a bit and finally a combination of the fusions, rituals and syncros which eventually had a few XYZs. The key card in the early version and continued to be an engine afterward was Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. For Ritual, Fusion and Synchro I had cards like Blue-Eyes Chaos Max dragon, Five Headed Dragon, Mirror Force Dragon, Red-Dragon Archfiend/Scarlight Variant in the later versions. While I had also Vice Dragon and Interplanetarypurplythorny dragon to keep myself from being board wiped. I had the Horus Level Monsters as a minor feature, but stuck mostly at the low level to Dragons with special abilities such as twin headded behemoth, masked dragon, decoy dragon and mirage dragon. I only had one single tribute monster worth using and that was strong wind dragon; but my tribute bosses were no joke either. Red Eyes Black Dragon to immediately go to Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon (one of my first Aces), White Night Dragon, Tyrant Dragon and Felgrand Dragon. My Backrow was also unique in that it either negated attacks multiple times in exchange for raising my own life points (Draining Shield), drawing a card (Defense Draw), or dealing damage to the opponent (Magic Cylinder), or removing from play strategically the truly biggest threats (Dimensional Prison, Nordic Relic Leviatinn, etc.). I also stunned a lot of the destruction spells and anti trap cards with my own via dark bribe. 3 of Mirror Force and Scrap Iron Scarecrow were also a staple. My three continuous cards aside from dragon's rage were Needle Wall and Burden of the Mighty. Stamping destruction was a staple removal spell as it had the secondary burn effect baked in to get the most bang for the buck. Magical Mallet and Gold Sarcophagus gave me a bailout in case I didn't have cards other than ones to stall with to play. Mage Power was my only equip spell as a last resort or a final attack against a strong opponent. As for field cards my two favorites were Mountain and the Seal of Orichalcos. In the end, I was able to keep it relevant up until the XYZ era. The power of the deck was seriously eroded with Pendulum Monsters and became completely dead once Link Monsters and the corresponding stupid rules that locked down the extra deck came onto the scene. In my card club during the deck's prime, and the lack of pendulum monster use by my opponents, I was able to be the top person in the club 4 years running. I tried to keep it forbidden/limited legal in case I wanted to go to the pros, but I got turned off as pendulum and link monsters neutered my deck to the point I had to buy new cards to replace my staples and not just that, but eventually the entire deck I had come to know and love had to be replaced. I did have an Exodia/Egyptian God Deck, but it was nowhere near the meta or anti-meta so I abandoned the physical game entirely. Although I no longer play the physical game, I still have some of the cards and a lot of the original games still with me. I still long to go back to the days of 5Ds when times were simpler and the new monsters and backwards rules weren't ever a thing. If I were to ever come back to physical I would probably focus on an archetype that didn't use the extra deck at all (due to the bad Link Monster Neutering of extra Deck making it IMO useless to me) and was able to special summon lots of monsters quickly like my old deck that could combo with each other while having good attack for its level. I would probably have a combination of ritual and Tribute/LV stun effects with monsters working in tandem with a similar backrow to before; assuming the cards didn't get banned. That is just a theory though, not that I have the spending money kicking around to return nor is there anything going on in my area to motivate me to go back beyond reliving nostalgia in the Gameboy, DS and Playstation Games.
It’s always so fun to be able to get a quick look into so many different decks. Yugioh is such a massive time-sink, so these kinds of vids really help to let me know what decks are worth playing around with Kinda random, but the new 3D card renders are also a nice addition
OMG bro I’m so happy you finally made a new part I was sad to hear that the original file got corrupted I’ll make sure to share this around so it gets the recognition it deserves
Subterror link with my Tindalos boys? Now that's a "civilized" choice Want to add more options for them: - Shadoll Winda: Like Subterror link, Shadoll link also requires 2 flips, and to fuse into her requires a dark for the grand total of 3 monsters... yeah, sucks, I know - Heavenly lord & Terror in the Hidden City: Raigeki proof, as Nagel protection doesn't cover your face-down (Talking about bad design...) - Subterror Succession: Works wonders if paired with Shaddoll or Labyrinth, expands the options available for later turns (Flip deck = usually grind duels) - Tearlament: Copium, because why would you nerf a tier deck, but, any milling can be welcomed in a heavy Tindangle name version (Which uses other names like Protector)... other millers include Void Apocalypse, Cherubini & Needlebug nest - World Legacy pawn, Sol and Luna, desert sunlight and even Junk sleep: As mentioned, flips are sitting ducks, so if you include other disruptive monsters like the aforementioned Krawler and Shadoll, or oddballs like Morphing Jar #2, Penguin soldier or Brain Jacker (All searchable with Jrelth, & revivable with Angel / Subterror link) - Terrifying Toddler of Torment: The honorary Tindangle; alongside Jlreth discarding it, you would have 3 monsters set without using your normal summon (3rd being Intruder from deck), while also working as Void Apocalypse without the discard cost. Noteworthy fiend to send is (Burning abyss) Scarm as Jlreth is lvl 3, but any fiend like Unchained, Lab can work due to Muckraker's existence - D/D/D Stone king Darius: Rank 3, Earth fiend (Floodgate warning) Another benefit of Toddler being lvl 3 like Jlreth, by personal experience can say it has come very handy Bit longer than expected, and leaving out gimmicky cards like Summoner of illusions (Enables Winda too), Switcheroo or Traptalazing tune (Draw power while enabling extra uses of Delaunay) Respect for mentioning The Archfiend guy, that dude has been on the business for years now Wonder how Aromages will perform next time, considering their incoming support.. till then, have a great day
This is definitely the best content about Yugioh on UA-cam. Shows you that only good content and hard work will not guarantee success, you need a lot of luck as well. But keep up the good work And let's see where my pet deck Raidraptors end up on the list after the new support, you can play around almost every interaction now, but not all at once.
Hey @monkeyfighttcg can you do another one of these tier lists soon please? I just finished the 149th different deck you have shown so far in these video's on Master Duel tonight and I want to try out more soon. thank you :)
a bit sad to not see the nepthys link 3 mentioned it doesnt really work unless you go all in the rituals but its decently hard to out (for the decks in this tier of course, stronger decks have all kinds of non targeting non destruction) sorry im just nepthys strongest soldier i love these videos
🙌 exploding chicken deck mentioned A bad but very funny way to play nephthys is with the new fire king support Under the most ideal circumstances possible you can wipe monsters with Garunix Eternity while Sacred Flame is out and stare down your opponent with 7800 atk points worth of poultry
I've actually been working on an archetype deck list the past week, actually. I've been ranking by number of competitive wins vs what the community says is casual vs competitive.
1. Fisherman, Sea Stealth Attack II can protect him from any monster effect non-destroy target removal. I think it is good enough for them. But, summon the Fisherman and setup all "Umi" backrows are really difficult. 2. I'm surprised with Spirit's position. This mechanic is still have a lot potency to make them better. Someday, I hope Konami can give hand and/or GY effect that works like a handtrap, because as spirit, they always return to hand. 3. I play Demise as "Bad Rank-8 turbo", and sometime it is good. I combine it with Unchained spell/trap and/or Geartown. Use Lv. 8 Demise effect, destroy everything including Unchained spell/trap and/or Geartown, easy lv. 8. 4. Paleozoic, I want them to have a card that can help them to Xyz summon in opponent's turn, like "Sanctuary of the Fire Kings". Or they can make "Paleozoic Circular", a main deck monster for Paleo, but I don't really like this idea because this damage the uniqueness of the deck.
Finally!! I was waiting for this episode ( I liked the video before I even watched it because I know it's gonna be good) Really love all the work and efforts you put in this series .
While I do believe you have a very solid Heroic decklist up, I feel it should be moved up at least a tier because of how effective it is at absolutely spamming the board with Xyz as well as it’s good synergy with the ZEXAL package. I’ve had a lot of success with it in tournaments, though I’d be happy to hear your thought on why it deserves to stay in T4 as well.
Its certainly not a bad deck, but there's very little it does that other decks can't do better. The deck also has issues with certain hand traps, such as nibiru, especially with zexal builds. Compared to more meta decks such as purrlely, unchained, and even something more meh like salads, it's just lacking in the ability to play through boards.
@@MonkeyFightTCG While that is true, I do believe it is unfair to compare the deck to Tier 7+ decks and rather should be compared to Tier 4 and 5 like how is being contested here. I definitely feel it is much stronger than decks like Gimmick Puppet, which has a clear choke point, or Bujin or Gadgets, both of which are forced to rely on very outdated tools still. Most of the Heroic deck utilizes it’s new support along with old powerhouses like Thousand Blades (which is SOPT and a delight to abuse in conjunction with Heroic Call’s GY revive). And though a Morning Star negate hurts, the deck can still play through it. Meanwhile compared to T5, I definitely don’t see it as any more weak and fragile than say Shiranui, Myutant, or Cyberdark. And stronger than decks like Reptilianne, Dinomists, and Magnet Warriors still. I’d honestly even argue for it being as high as T6 along with decks like Utopia, Fluffal, or Crusadia. But I understand then you’re dealing with stuff like Floo and Dragonmaid in the same tier, so maybe not, as much as I’d like to disagree? That said I digress. Sorry if this all came off as a bit wordy, I just wanted to explain my own rationale on why it should be higher.
I think a big mistake yugioh players made was shortening tearlaments to tear instead of laments. Because trying to put tears into tiers in a tierlist with a few versions of tear is a bit of a mouthful.
Interesting... IIRC, in your video a year ago, i saw Amazoness in Tier 3. But now i see it nowhere... So, it becomes Tier 5 or higher? NICE since i also currently building my Amazoness but feels like i'm missing something... Keep up your work & quality dude, also hang in there 👍
The fact that ghostricks are in the same tier as nemleria paleozoics and other actually good decks makes me unreasonably happy, on account that I love the dumb things :D.
The Heroic deck is less than ideal and is missing a lot of stuff the deck needs to play properly. Also I have a Fleur list I've been working on and... the deck can consistently Calamity someone, even without the Crimson Dragon like decks are doing now (so can even do it in MasterDuel). Would you be open to discussing potentially bumping the decks up a tier? Really feel like those, Tistina, and Nordic in particular all are in this tier when they're significantly better than everything else here and feel like odd inclusions
@@MonkeyFightTCG What? I didn't say the decks were broken. I said they're better than everything else in the tier your putting them in. And you should know by now from making this how inactive the communities for a lot of these decks are. Nobody is testing them. But it takes 2 seconds to realize that Fleur makes Junk Speeder (hence the Calamity line it has) and the Heroic list here is missing modern board breakers. If you're genuinely open to a discussion instead of ignoring what I said I can provide the lists lol. I respect your videos and understand a lot of work goes into them so theres no need to get snarky to me. Just here to educate on these underrepresented decks
I am open and I have accounted for a ton of these plays. I've tested these decks and built around them before. Every deck has access to stupid plays. All I want is more players who have knowledge of these decks being good is to share it, which they never do and then complain about how no one correctly values their deck.
I guess I'll leave more info here for anyone interested. Even without new or expensive cards this is the combo for Fleur. It takes any level 2 Synchron (take your pick, they all work) + Any level 3 extender (you can load up on these for easy synchro plays). The line is slightly different based on whether or not your Synchron of choice is Necro Synchron but we'll start without it. Summon your tuner and your extender and make Junk Speeder. Speeder effect to Special Summon Jet Synchron, Steam Synchron, and any level 2 Synchron. Use Jet Synchron + Speeder to make Stardust Charge Warrior and draw a card off his effect. Summon back Jet Synchron (you are guaranteed a discard thanks to Charge Warrior) and use him again with the Charge Warrior to make a DARK Dragon (if using newer cards you can make Kuibelt but if not then Ancient Pixie Dragon works.) Steam Synchron to go into Calamity on the opponent's turn. (There's also another line that bridges through Wind Pegasus with Necro Synchron but it takes more Extra Deck space so it's up to you if you want to do it) Starting with Necro makes it even better though so let's look at what that does. Make Junk Speeder and summon the Steam Synchron, Jet Synchron, and any level 2 Synchron you want while also triggering Necro Synchron's effect to summon any level 1 plant from the Deck (Necro Fleur if you want the Fleur vibes OR Aromage Laurel if you want the optimal choice). Your level 1 Plant + Jet Synchron makes Formula Synchron and let's you draw a card. Your level 2 Synchron + Junk Speeder makes Kuibelt/Pixie again. Formula OR Steam Synchron here makes Calamity on the opponent's turn so they can't even just fire off an Imperm on one of your tuners to stop you so it takes higher investment from your opponent to stop you. Additionally, an Ash on the Necro Synchron here (They can't stop Speeder since Necro chain blocks it) does not stop you as you just proceed with the way into Calamity you used in the Necro-less combo. Also worth noting, the Jet Synchron has not used his effect from there so if you have more cards in hand you can slap another interaction on your board (usually Herald of the Arc Light since you're playing a bunch of Level 3 extenders). Now. Is that all the deck can do? Definitely not. This is the bare minimum so that everyone can play the list even if they are playing on Master Duel. With newer Synchron support you also get access to support from DUNE so that you can play Revolution Synchron to make the deck more consistent. Obviously the deck can throw a Baronne on the board but it can also easily set up Satellite Warrior to be a complete board wipe. Matter of fact, if your opponent is on something that sets a bunch of cards, you can use the same set-up you used for the Calamity to pivot into a Satellite to destroy 3 cards minimum as Steam Synchron + your Kuibelt makes him. So even in matchups where Calamity on their turn isn't great you still have plays when going in blind. There's also the possibility of, with the same start to your combo, setting up a Ruddy Rose Dragon play to completely nuke the field and GY. All this is done with pretty low hand investment and even main Deck investment compared to your usual Synchron deck so it retains a lot of space for non-engine over bricks.
@@MonkeyFightTCG Trust me, I'm workin on getting information together for the Fleur deck. It's just hard to do when nobody else touches the deck so you're doing all the work on your own. As for the Heroic deck, like I said, the list here is just missing key pieces. Its missing the Utopiforce for Dragonar, the third copy of ZS - Ascended Sage and it's missing Armed Sage as well when they're the best extenders for the deck. Its not using Ultimate Slayer when Heroic has room for it. Its also playing 2 Heroic Chance over additional copies of Call when Call is the best Spell the Deck has for playing into boards. Also, this might sound insane but Prosperity is the best choice of Pot card instead of Desires, as the conistency it gives unironically allows Heroic to hit for enough to kill despite the reduced damage. Other rapidfire changes to make to the list are: - Dugares is a must. - 1 Extra Sword is also necessary as a search off Thousand Blade and it comes up frequently in actual play. (It's also just another Heroic name which is important). - Nibiru is not the handtrap of choice for the Deck. You'd rather other board breakers or something with less counterplay like Veiler. - UDF line is too high investment for Heroic over just doing other plays instead. If you're wanting Rank 4 toolbox stuff, Springans are just objectively better for the same investment and even they aren't exactly what I'd recommend usually - Sakitama may not be usable for the Heroic XYZ but its useful for other Rank 4s (like Dugares) and is a must. - And the biggest issue... Vespenado is a MUST in the deck. The last thing you want is your opponent to ruin your whole combo by something as silly as a set Ash Blossom. Your ATK increases all work on non-Heroics so Vespenado can be buffed into the 20k range pretty easily. Quick little edit here at the end... why is Thrust not in there either? It's arguably the best going second tool we've ever seen and is a must for any OTK deck
paleotear was not only a decent rogue deck but is still very much playable esp after the new trap in maze of millennium and looks absolutely nothing like that deranged list you've come up with. embarrassing
Well then, please share your so called rogue list. If you're that confident show it to the world and prove me wrong. I'd love to see an excellent list that highlights an underdog deck.
I absolutely respect your dedication to making a tierlist that could become out dated in a few months due to constant support. Also this could be the best possible capsule for future duelist.
Oh good, you realized Ancient Gear was top tier and decided to move it up accordingly. Who needs a one card combo when your deck can run Magical Hats!

YES! i was just looking to see if you made a new video on this a week ago! so glad it’s out.
It’s always so fun to be able to get a quick look into so many different decks. Yugioh is such a massive time-sink, so these kinds of vids really help to let me know what decks are worth playing around with
Kinda random, but the new 3D card renders are also a nice addition
Really loving each of your vídeos. Also, the new effects on each key cards on each archetype are really amazing.
Keep up the amazing work. :D
love some of these creative decklists! especially your take on chaos jinzo looks really cool
Well thats ones not mine, you can check the linked deck list in the description to view the original creator
OMG bro I’m so happy you finally made a new part I was sad to hear that the original file got corrupted I’ll make sure to share this around so it gets the recognition it deserves
I wonder if ritual beast will be higher after the support
I said it should land in tier 5!
YES FINALLY
Lessgooo, love tisseries so much
Niice let's go!¡
Lee up the good work, I really enjoy your work on the tier list. Having a list like this seems very important in an archetypal game like YuGiOh.
LETS GOOOO I THOUGHT YOU ABANDONED THIS
Subterror link with my Tindalos boys? Now that's a "civilized" choice
Want to add more options for them:
- Shadoll Winda: Like Subterror link, Shadoll link also requires 2 flips, and to fuse into her requires a dark for the grand total of 3 monsters... yeah, sucks, I know
- Heavenly lord & Terror in the Hidden City: Raigeki proof, as Nagel protection doesn't cover your face-down (Talking about bad design...)
- Subterror Succession: Works wonders if paired with Shaddoll or Labyrinth, expands the options available for later turns (Flip deck = usually grind duels)
- Tearlament: Copium, because why would you nerf a tier deck, but, any milling can be welcomed in a heavy Tindangle name version (Which uses other names like Protector)... other millers include Void Apocalypse, Cherubini & Needlebug nest
- World Legacy pawn, Sol and Luna, desert sunlight and even Junk sleep: As mentioned, flips are sitting ducks, so if you include other disruptive monsters like the aforementioned Krawler and Shadoll, or oddballs like Morphing Jar #2, Penguin soldier or Brain Jacker (All searchable with Jrelth, & revivable with Angel / Subterror link)
- Terrifying Toddler of Torment: The honorary Tindangle; alongside Jlreth discarding it, you would have 3 monsters set without using your normal summon (3rd being Intruder from deck), while also working as Void Apocalypse without the discard cost. Noteworthy fiend to send is (Burning abyss) Scarm as Jlreth is lvl 3, but any fiend like Unchained, Lab can work due to Muckraker's existence
- D/D/D Stone king Darius: Rank 3, Earth fiend (Floodgate warning) Another benefit of Toddler being lvl 3 like Jlreth, by personal experience can say it has come very handy
Bit longer than expected, and leaving out gimmicky cards like Summoner of illusions (Enables Winda too), Switcheroo or Traptalazing tune (Draw power while enabling extra uses of
Delaunay)
Respect for mentioning The Archfiend guy, that dude has been on the business for years now
Wonder how Aromages will perform next time, considering their incoming support.. till then, have a great day
Its that time of the year again!
one day relinquished will become cracked, trust

Hey @monkeyfighttcg can you do another one of these tier lists soon please? I just finished the 149th different deck you have shown so far in these video's on Master Duel tonight and I want to try out more soon. thank you :)
Someday, someone will take over control in Konami, just to give us actually good TOON support, and raise its comedic dominance to comical levels.
a bit sad to not see the nepthys link 3 mentioned it doesnt really work unless you go all in the rituals but its decently hard to out (for the decks in this tier of course, stronger decks have all kinds of non targeting non destruction)

nah, i love it when people defend their decks. Thanks for the write up!
I think a big mistake yugioh players made was shortening tearlaments to tear instead of laments.
Because trying to put tears into tiers in a tierlist with a few versions of tear is a bit of a mouthful.
That's definitely true, but saying tear zero is very fun
Solfachord next video for sure
Maybe, maybe not
@@MonkeyFightTCG SOLFACHORD TOP TIER LETS GOOOOOOO
Interesting... IIRC, in your video a year ago, i saw Amazoness in Tier 3. But now i see it nowhere... So, it becomes Tier 5 or higher? NICE since i also currently building my Amazoness but feels like i'm missing something...
Keep up your work & quality dude, also hang in there 👍
So glad this series didn't die!
Nice dude!!! Im very excited to watch
The fact that ghostricks are in the same tier as nemleria paleozoics and other actually good decks makes me unreasonably happy, on account that I love the dumb things :D.
Algorithm comment.
MY DECK ISNT HERE MY DECK IS HIGHER TIER YA BABY
love this series!
Best Yugioh series on youtube.
Thanks for the new episode!
Paleozoic is, like, 3 tiers too low at minimum. Still tops with Tear or even just by themselves in the OCG.
Play exodia paleozoic 😅
I will feel bad if some random deck here gets support so good they become meta and you gotta redo the tier list
It is what it is
Omaha’s are tier 4?! What the heck were you smoking

is spirit the .5
No actually, they have memes outside of rank 4s. It's just the Tama's that spam rank 4s. Good guess though
I dont get why people just don't share these so called broken deck lists anywhere
(There's also another line that bridges through Wind Pegasus with Necro Synchron but it takes more Extra Deck space so it's up to you if you want to do it)
Starting with Necro makes it even better though so let's look at what that does.
Other rapidfire changes to make to the list are:
- Dugares is a must.
If you're wanting Rank 4 toolbox stuff, Springans are just objectively better for the same investment and even they aren't exactly what I'd recommend usually
- Sakitama may not be usable for the Heroic XYZ but its useful for other Rank 4s (like Dugares) and is a must.
