Once again a lovely video Catherine, you do manage to capture the essence of the late winter, early spring countryside. Thank you so much from an expat from the other side of the world.
It was a lovely day to be walking. I found an app called MapOut which shades the contours and has a colour scheme I like. I just take screen shots of the relevant area and use an Apple Pencil to mark in my route.
Your walk lacked any detail as to where you were along the trail. I am not sure how you got from Whitchurch to the Wayfarers Walk? I did the Wayfarers Walk from Kintbury to Bastingstoke back on 05/06/2021 using a folding e-bike. Jubilee Line to Paddington. GWR to Kintbury. From there to Inkpen Beacon 5.6 miles. From Walbury Hill to Dummer 24.6 miles. From there to Basingstoke station 6 miles. Roughly 36+ miles. It was a beautiful sunny day and the ground was firm under foot. Assuming you walked from Walbury Hill to Kintbury station, then 18.1 - 5.6 miles = 12.5 miles from Whitchurch to Walbury Hill? Apparently from the A34(T) at Litchfield to Inkpen Beacon = 15.4 miles according some website that their listed times and distances. Anyway, covering 18.1 miles along often muddy terrain is some achievement. The rainbows were magical.
@@willsmith7475 Thanks Will, can't remember whether I stayed to the end or not. Captions would have been useful throughout the video. Looks like Catherine joined WW at Lower Woodcott Down.
Some fair ways you fared, thanks for sharing.
A beautiful clouds day; I love those.
Glad to see you again Catherine, lovely as always. Thank you.
Thanks Mike. Just a local one, but impressive weather.

One of those perfect early spring days. Glad you enjoyed watching.
Wonderful day to be out Catherine, stunning vistas and that rainbow, wow! 👍👍
The best moment!
Hi Catherine, Nice, very relaxing. Be interested to know how you get the map footage at the end.
Thx
