This video shows you how to install a new TRQ thermostat housing in your 2003-2007 Nissan Murano. The thermostat housing holds teh thermostat, which regulates coolant flow in your vehicle's engine. If the housing is damaged or leaking, that can cause problems.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:

@TRQ Question - Installed a new duralast thermostat but the temp is higher than normal. Temp goes up to about 3/4. Never overheated but it gets close. Could i have a bad thermostat? Could i cause damage with it running kinda hot?

no RTV silicone ? Was the paper gasket alone enough to keep it from leaking?
As long as everything is torqued down to spec shouldn’t leak. I’ve never had a problem with them.
How long did it take you to do all that?
I have a 2012. Isn’t the an electrical connection in the way of that bottom bolt. I can’t seem to get it off

Hi, my car overheats while on hydo, its nissan morano VQ35-618845B. Please help before I change the engine.
This isn't really any help because I can't get to those bolts
I put rtv on the thermostat then the gasket on top then gasket to body and its leaking..do you know why..
I accidentally stripped the rt bolt ..does anybody know how i can fix that?
