Amtrak - Auto Train Trip (Lorton, VA to Sanford, FL)

I've known about Amtrak and their long distance trains ever since I was a kid thanks to all the Train based video tapes my parents bought for me. Happy to say that I finally was able to experience one in the form of the Auto Train, a unique excursion which allows passengers to bring their cars and other vehicles along for the ride from Lorton, VA to Sanford, FL. The following video is compilation of clips that I captured for the duration of the trip.

Did this before the pandemic, had our own bedroom, enjoyed it. We arrived an hour early in the morning, had to wait for the station crew to show up before we could depart the train. Sounds like you were in coach.
