I like the chill vibe of the ship. Much more laid back than most.
Holland America is for a more sophisticated crowd so I think it’s a better option to cruise to places such as Alaska as it caters to a less party and drinking crowd.
I felt so pampered by Holland America. You can be in the cheapest cabin on the ship and be treated like a VIP. And the free room service breakfast arrived right on time every morning - best way to wake up is with that knock on the door delivering coffee!
You guys look so happy on this cruise. I love seeing you guys all dressed up you look great. The views you showed were so beautiful. Thanks for a great video

Omgosh the scenery!! Loved the Rolling stone lounge. That creaking freaks me out.. did you get sea sick with all that rocking and rolling? You both looked great. I’d be in the spa getting the works lol😅

I think that was Neapolitan ice cream flavors (choc. strawberry and vanilla); a Napoleon is a flaky pastry with vanilla pastry cream in alternating layers. That cod slider looked tasty. I think I'd order that every night! So happy about the whale siting. Used to go whale watching and they are wonderful to see outside of places like Sea World. You look very dapper in your suit Will and Dawn, you looked a picture in that gorgeous blue dress!
That is my dream cruise to go to Alaska. Hope y’all have a wonderful time. God is amazing with his creations including all of us. Love your videos and adventures.

Glad to see dawn saw her first whale. I am glad you tube doesnt have smell. O. Vision cause the 5 star food would drive me crazy seeing you eat.
With the ship reeling and rocking i would be sick at my stomach.
I managed to fit two evening dresses, jewelry, dress shoes, swimsuit, undergarments, rain boots, sneakers, flipflops, socks, wool hat, warm gloves, two pair of blue jeans, long merino wool underwear, two sweaters, three nice t- shirts, nightshirt, rain top and pants and a down coat in my carry on . (My trip was the middle of September). My camera, binoculars, electronics, fanny pack and toiletries were in a waterproof backpack that fits under the airplane seat . Cruise packing is an art. PS, I liked the food, service and entertainment better on Princess Cruise lines back in 2015. I don't know how Princess is these days.

You guys really keep moving. No wonder you're tired at day's end. Beautiful cruise. You both looked so nice on dress-up night. It was sweet of you to tell Dawn she looked beautiful, Will. The whale sighting was exciting, tho brief. You'll see more I'm sure. I've never been on a cruise. I could not take the motion, as I get vertigo very easily with motion. So now I can be on a virtual cruise with you guys. It's very interesting. Thanks for taking us along.

Going to Alaskan waters can be ruff at times. Yes its very cold at times especially at Glacier Bay, 😢dress warm. We took Princess Cruise line and ship was nice. We had music by the main pool, different entertainment in each bar lounge, many and different events we could enjoy. Food was good. Buffet was ok, but a buffet is what it is. Just find your happy places, hopefully whales will appear and enjoy each other. Stay warm and safe. Gods blessings.❤

One of the best things about Holland America and Celebrity is there solarium covered pools.
For breakfast in the lido they make homemade crepes to order

we think we'd enjoy this cruise ship we are not into the boom boom boom music, a relaxing cruise ship is more our taste
I don’t like hard cookies! LOL 😂 I make the best homemade oatmeal raisin, gingerbread cookies, and what my mom used to call. Ginger Krinkle cookies. Also a great sugar cook with nice icing. And I’ll tell you something … these are cookies that will melt in your mouth and not break your teeth. Thanks for sharing this part of your cruise looking forward to the next video.
The ship has Chinese and Indian food as well. Why not try something different ? 😁😃

i can see there is a difference between a tropical cruise versus the alaskan, just for myself i can take the cold so i would go tropical, being from Chicago we are going to St. Augustine this July, i love the ocean.......i have to add i love your blue dress Dawn, my favorite color!

Do they charge you extra for room service? I didn’t know if there’s a service charge or up charge on the meal itself. What about dinner , if you had room service for that?
How does tipping work when they bring luggage, room service, etc . Is it up to you to tip them exch time or is it added to bill at then?
Lots of questions, ive never been on a cruise. Id love to one day! Im alone , so there’s that issue. I wouldn’t mind it, I’d just not want to go to the formal night or fancy dinner. I was wondering if you can have the nice dinner brought to room, when I saw it talk about room service.
When you went to dinner, was not not part of your ticket price? I guess the regular buffet etc is, but not the one you went to in this video?

I am enjoying seeing what it’s like being on a cruise ship. I have been on smaller vessels but not any luxury cruise ships. I am not a foodie. I am a let’s eat on the run type. It’s all about what I can see. However, I enjoy you guys!!!!

All I’ve wanted since returning from an Alaska cruise last year is to do a longer Alaska cruise. My dream cruise would be 14 day round trip on Holland America.
