That is a fantastic loop. Never even considered it before. I've been up Parkin Clough accidentally first time. Never been befire, plotted the quickest route for the Ethel. I tell you, I felt it. You don't half motor. My average speed no matter how fast I start is 1.8mph. The arthritis in my feet start to slow me down. On that Bothy I did the Reservoirs at 2.6mph then the climb and the arthritis set in. I was overtaken by a snail on the way back but still managed 1.9mph over the 15.93 miles so still pretty chuffed. What is your average walking speed on these hijes? About 2.6-3mph? Grwat vlog. I love how you point out all the various peaks and your insights. Pretty off that a cyclist just uses the Trig to prop hike bike up. Great vlog, thanks for sharing.

Hi, i've done it as various shorter loops before multiple time up to the ruins in the woods and up the trail that bring you up near the end of the Roman road but just did this one as a extension to the norm to add and link up some new trail, i tend to walk about 3 mph pretty much constant, obvious variation on terrain, Not quite so quick up Parkin clough for example but i have timed that from the bottom of the Staircase next to river up to the trig and quickest i done it is about 24 mins, not done it for a few years but makes for a good fitness gauge and if i can maintain under 30 mins i'll be happy, I usually have to hit and run as have limited time from dropping Daughter off to picking her up so at a push can do 3-4 hours on the hill then drive there and back, occasionally get a long day so can do more involved or further away, Thanks for watching and the comment, Andy

Hi Lindsay, if you look back through the video at 07:44 and 22:05 i cross a trail and walk up a trail, depending what the scooter can handle terrain wise but that tail starts on a road called SIGGATE, go through Castleton village and road takes you up past the Hope Quarry, can access the trail at various points up there and is about 2.5 mile long so 5 mile there and back if go full length, the is a series of gates to open/close along the route but might be worth a look. Andy

@@lindsay49 Hi Lindsay, sorry i answered the wrong video lol, The time stamps above are for the trail on the Cave Dale video i posted today, just noticed you were asking about the Win Hill one, you can probably get the scooter along the side of the reservoir access road without to much problem as a there and back for about 6 miles. up onto the Roman Road and Hope Cross,Win Hill itself though probably not so much, not sure what kind of terrain these things can handle to be fair but getting up there might be a bit too extreme, Andy
