- We headed down to Jekyll and St. Simons Islands on the Georgia coast to do a little fishing. The bite was tough but finally, throwing live shrimp on the bottom we were able to catch enough for dinner. This is a beautiful place to fish and you can't go wrong with live shrimp. Hope you enjoy the video. #redfish #catchcleancook #saltlife

Love that place! Fish over there all the time. Awesome video, will have to try the Capt. Dennis recipe next time!
We was fishing at Jekyll island last Saturday and caught a lot of croaker and flounder from the pier
Looks Like a great day on the water!
Cool video! Hook the shrimp under the horn and between the black spots. Trout, flounder, and reds hit the head first.
I agree and usually do but the trash fish kept ripping the bodies off and leaving me nothing but a head so I started hooking them a little different.
at about 7 minutes in there is what looks like a massive pile of shells off to the right. Is that what is called a shell midden where Indians used to shuck oysters?
Ya know…I don’t know! I may have to research that and find out. Either way, it made for some good fishing!
Hey where is this spot you are fishing at? I always come to jekyll and catch zero fish 😂
There is a small creek, not sure of the name that rounds back behind the Jekyll pier. You need a smaller boat to get under the bridge but there are a few deep holes in there that hold fish…especially on low tides but be careful, you may get stuck in there.
Does it hurt the shrimp??? Love them water ways
No shrimp were hurt in the making of this video! Lol
Awesome video man and a great day on the water!! If y’all ever want to get on some sheepshead action in the Savannah area make sure you reach out to me at Bad Intentions Fishing Charters. Would love to have y’all
May have to do it…sheepshead is a fish that always seems to outsmart me!
I smell the grease getting hot!
Man they were good!
